Love ALWAYS wins!

The 2026 Winter Olympics are over.  I'm sure you all know that but, if you've been like Robert and me, you have enjoyed seeing the athletes who are THE BEST IN THE WORLD competing with each other.

Pairs skating remains, and probably will always be, my very favorite event to watch.  How absolutely beautiful a couple is who has trained together for months to be totally in sync as they listen to the music together and cover the ice as easily as we walk.  So many times I just gasped as their hard work drew the crowd into what they were feeling together.  It is just sooo beautiful and, if you haven't seen it, I'll share a video below of one of my favorite couples.

I must add that my husband and I drew a lot of pleasure from watching the event called curling.  Oh my goodness--the precision required is breathtaking.  We learned since then that our capital city, which is 60 miles away, has a curling team.  OH BOY  I wonder if we can stay away.  lol

This devotional today is so awesome and so what we all need to remember.  When God's love flows through us, His peace fills us completely.  It's the only way to live.

I need to get going but I hope you are blessed as you ponder how easy it is to let God's love change everything for the better.

  Til next time

I Hear His Whisper...

Let love rule.

The revelation of truth can only come through my love. As you live in my love, I will show myself through your life and through your words. Many are those around you who need me; love them, and they will see me. As my Word says, I have not given you a spirit of fear, but the spirit of love. My holy presence will spill from your heart as you overflow with my love. Many will attempt to distract you from this treasure, but your eyes are fixed on me, and I will hold you fast in my love.

Let all other things become supplemental to love. Love must rule your life, words, actions, and mindset. Loving must become the primary motive of your life. The deepest desire of your heart must be to know and love me first, then to pour that love out to others. Let love compel you. Let compassion lift you. Let wisdom lead you, and the enemy will never be able to trick you into guilty service. See what I’m doing and remain in sync with my Spirit, and you will never be sucked dry or step outside the healthy boundaries of love.

1 John 4:20 TPT

Anyone can say, “I love God,” yet have hatred toward another believer. This makes him a phony, because if you don’t love a brother or sister, whom you can see, how can you truly love God, whom you can’t see?

Curling anyone?

 Hi everybody,

It's been busy here with lots of sick clients needing my help.  Then, too, my large family seems to need my help for someone nearly every day.  For newcomers, I am a Certified BodyTalk practitioner going on 19 years of service.  Here is our website if you want to learn about how BodyTalk helps the body to heal:  https://bodytalksystem.com/

I have been trained and can do BodyTalk from a distance if anyone needs my help.  It's like praying for someone and they get better.  When I set my intention to help an organ to heal, it works with the client's brain to bring healing.  A woman named Elizabeth set her intention to help me heal back in 2007, when I was dying from shingles on the brain, and that's why I'm alive.  I love passing it on to others who can't find answers to their perplexing health issues.  You can reach  me at linkstohealing@gmail.com if you want to book a session.

Anyway, during long Winter nights, Robert and I like to watch a movie together.  These past few weeks we've been watching the Olympics and our favorite event is curling.  I had no knowledge of curling before this year and it is fascinating.  It reminds me of when my dad taught me to play pool in my teen years.  Sometimes the skill in a certain shot takes my breath away.  It is just amazing to see the precision but, of course, this is the Olympics.

I thought perhaps you'd like to have a taste of curling, too, so I'm sharing a video of it at the Olympics.  This is where the US team was winning so it's a fun one.  The last 3 games the men's Team USA have lost their games so I'm NOT going to show you those.  :)

Here's to excellence in whatever God has called us to do.  Let's all be or BEST for our wonderful loving God who made us!

  Keep warm everyone,

  Dawn

PS  I should say that we learned there are 10 ends in a game. Each team tries to keep their stones closer to the middle of the circle.  The opposing team tries to knock their stones away from the center.  There's a lot of shouting because, those who are brushing off the ice aren't able to watch where they should be going, so their teammates help them know where to guide the stone.  It's amazing how the teams work together.

GROW ON PURPOSE!

 Hi everyone,

We've been enjoying seasonal warm weather for February in North Dakota.  It looks like it will change here soon though.

My knee is practically healed now as the Lord reminded me to make some more Nano Silver.  Once I began drinking that again, my knee started healing quickly.  Praise the Lord.

Recently I found this teaching and it is an eye opener.  Lance wrote a book called GROW ON PURPOSE and I plan on ordering it soon.  If you have half an hour free, I urge you to listen to this too.

We're called to go into all the world and make disciples for the Lord not doubt that we are able to do so.  If you, like me, have doubts that you can accomplish in your life the mission He has for you, then please listen to this video.

Here's to becoming ALL that our loving Heavenly Father NEEDS us to be!

  Hugs and prayers,

  Dawn

Not a Victor tonight! );

We're doing ok.  I'm not even sure why the Lord wants me to write tonight when I don't have anything really important to write about.  I guess I should say that I don't have anything encouraging to say.

I hosted our neighborhood lady's Bible study at my house yesterday.  As I prepared my home to be a pleasant calm spot to meet, I was attacked by the enemy.

I had refilled my bird feeders and was taking them out to the pole that holds them.  The feeders were sitting on the step and I very carefully went down the steps backwards as it's super slippery around here now.

Once on the ground, I reached for the feeders.  My body turned but my foot hit against something buried in the snow.  This kept my leg from turning along with my body and then I felt my knee snap.  OWIEEEE

This is the knee that I tore a couple of tendons on a couple of years ago.  Those were on the outside of the knee, though, and these are on the inside.  Needless to say, I can hardly walk today.  The pain is pretty nasty and I am upset with myself for not being more careful.

So I'm resting a lot today but did manage to make supper for my guys.  I'm also washing the blue jeans so the guys have some pants to wear.  I guess those accomplishments will have to be enough for now.

It just bugs me that I am injured again.  Please pray for this knee to heal quickly.  Like I said, I'm not really in an encouraging mood tonight.  Maybe I should look for a song.

Found one.  I can honestly say that, without the Lord, I wouldn't even be alive.  He's patched me up so many times that I could never thank Him enough.  Still, here I am again needing His healing.

I heard today on Lance Walnau https://lancewallnau.com/  that satan is attacking a lot of people who are earnestly serving the Lord.  He mentioned a book about how to stop these attacks.  When I know more, I'll share it here.   In the meantime, I'm sure you'll be blessed to listen to Lance as he has a clear understanding of how to deal with our hidden enemies.

Well, good night.  I suppose we should consider ourselves effective for the Lord when we are attacked like this.  Still, I'd much rather be effective at destroying the evil all around me.  Help me, Lord!
