Focus on the positive, Dawn!

It's been hard to admit to myself that, once again, I'm dealing with cancer.  It's stayed away for a very long time so that I got used to thinking that it was in the past forever.  However, several things happened which led to it's return.

First of all, my son's wife miscarried their second child last month and that was so hard.  Then, my niece died suddenly at the age of 36 and that was even harder.

My BETAR table broke which helps me to unwind and move beyond traumas like this.  That, plus my Kangen water not being up to it's full healing capacity, and so it snuck up on me.

I didn't recognize it at first.  I was digging potatoes and there was a quick snap and the pain was excruciating.  I went to my chiropractor 4 times in 2 weeks with minimal progress on the pain.  That's when it registered that there may be something growing in my back.

I've dealt with this so many times so I knew what to do.  Drink lots of Kangen water.  check.  Eat bitter apricot seeds.  check   Lay on the BETAR table for hours.  check     ZAP ZAP ZAP  check  MMS soaks  check   Focus on the positive  check.

So I'm doing quite a bit better today than I have this past 6 weeks or so.  Still, I always appreciate prayers so please send them as the Spirit leads and I bless you for thinking of me now.

I pray that these verses bless you too!

PS.  After a few minutes on my BETAR table this morning, I found something else inspiring.  Check out the video below.

17 Inspirational Bible Verses for Cancer Patients

Receiving the news that you have a terminal illness, such as cancer can be devastating. As believer’s we want to believe that God has a purpose in our affliction. We can look to the Bible for inspiration when we know someone who is suffering or we ourselves have been diagnosed with cancer. I pray these Bible verses will inspire you as you wait on the Lord for peace, courage, comfort and deliverance.

God is Big; Comfort & Rest for the Restless

Deuteronomy 31:6 “ …Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
Psalms 138:3 On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Matthew 11:28-29 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

God is Faithful; Calm for the Anxious

Psalms 18:6 In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
Psalms 33:20-22 Our soul waits for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name.  Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us, even as we hope in you.
Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 4:6-7 …do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

God is Trustworthy; He Has a Plan for You

Ecclesiastes 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
John 14:1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also…”

God is Hope; Even When it Seems Hopeless

Romans 8:16-17 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
