OH I WANT TO KNOW YOU MORE, LORD!!!

Today my heart is so heavy as I ponder our country falling apart.  Perhaps you have heard of all of the evil in the state of Minnesota?  That is the state that my daughter lives in!  How can I not be concerned for her family as they are under 100 miles away from there?  PLEASE pray for safety for ALL of the good people of Minnesota!

Then this morning I read this about my President's safety.  They already shot him once and have tried repeatedly since then.  PLEASE also pray with me for the President of Peace who loves freedom for the whole world.  Those who have kept us all slaves, though, do not want him to be successful in destroying their dark network.  "Heaven help Donald Trump; his family; and his team."  This I pray every night.  I'm copying what I read just so you can see the urgency to cover him in prayers now.

A PLOT TO KILL THE PRESIDENT

The Secret Societies are behind the assassination attempts of your President and they are still trying to get him now. There’s a plot to kill your President in the works and the wolves are about to attack. Pray now, My children. Pray for the protection of your President. Pray over what he eats. Pray over what he drinks. Pray over every place he goes that I direct his path.

Pray over every form of transportation he takes. Pray because the wolves are getting closer and closer and they are ready to strike. The Globalists are pushing for this. They are demanding something happen now because a New World Order is falling apart and they know My David is not backing down and they know he’s not afraid. They know nothing will stop him unless they stop him first. My children this is an URGENT WORD for an IMMINENT ATTACK AGAINST MY DAVID. It’s not if but when. Your President needs you now more than ever. He needs you to be interceding. He needs you to help keep his arms up. He needs My prayer warriors to stand and fight against all these demonic attacks. This is urgent, an urgency to this word, an urgency My children to keep proclaiming life and not death and every attack neutralized against him in your country. The Globalists are after My son because of his defiance and he stands against them. The Globalists are moving in to move to use this weapon of mass destruction. They’re ready to pull the plug on the economy. They are ready to release another deadly virus, not just a virus you are thinking of – the virus they brought here to overtake your nation and it is Islam. They are ready to use their army of mass destruction to destroy your nation from within. They are ready to cause more havoc in your weather. The storm you have seen in your nation was them using weather modification to attack this nation and to cause death. This is urgent My children to pray against every type of attack. My church needs to keep standing against these demonic attacks against you in your nation and arise My children and arise – use My Name and arise and use My Authority I have for you. Arise and plead the blood of Jesus. It’s urgent and don’t delay. This will stop your enemies in a major way, says the Lord of Hosts.

My heaviness took me to my sound system and the Lord had me choose STEVE GREEN's music.  As I listened to this first song, my heaviness vanished.  Jesus is in charge.  I can have His peace if I draw closer to Him!!

I was only looking for this first song but I love the others, too, so I'm sharing them all.  May our loving Heavenly Father comfort you as He comforted me as I thought about drawing ever closer to our Lord and Savior.

Love and prayers sent to all of my readers!

What is YOUR nature?

I'm a naturally quiet person.  I am what they call a "Happy introvert."  When I can be with people, I am OVERJOYED.  That's my secondary Type 1 temperament.    I absolutely loved our new year's eve party and have relived that wonderful evening many times.  So I enjoy having people around me--even LOTS of people--for a little while!

My basic temperament is a Type 4 though.  This energy is inward with deep introspection which sometimes gets me into trouble.  lol  I don't know who has all heard of Carol Tuttle and her incredible book "IT'S JUST MY NATURE."  That information has made it easier for me to embrace how God made me.  I think I'll find a video of Carol explaining this.  Be right back.

I found one.  Here Carol explains the Type 4 energy we were born with.  She has videos on the other 3 types also that you can find on YouTube by putting her name in the search bar.  I want to emphasize that my life changed when I came to understand the strengths of the Type 4 energy.  I was well aware of the weaknesses (perfectionism, judgementalism) but I hadn't been told my strengths.

Carol helped me to see myself as a whole person.  Type 4s judge not only others but themselves too.  I so did NOT want to be a Type 4 energy at first but that's because I had no idea what the strengths are of a Type 4.  Carol does such a good job of helping people accept, and even come to admire, the person that God made them.  Thank you, Carol.  She's a Type 3 by the way.

I also want to share with you this wonderful devotional from The Passion Translation.  How can a person not be encouraged reading these words of the passion God has for us?

Lots to think about here,

 Sending love,

Encounter God’s Heart…

Stay a While

You have found favor with the Lord. At this very moment, God is extending an invitation into blissful encounter. He is your friend. Your Creator. Your patient, merciful Father, who is absolutely in love with you and wants to spend time with you. Don’t rush through this devotion without noticing the gentle tug of God’s Spirit. Take a few moments to quiet yourself in his embrace. Stay awhile.

Be content, even if you don’t hear him say a word. Be still. Notice what it feels like to be washed in the beauty of God’s presence. Sink deep into an ocean of peace. He’s with you right now. He’s pouring out all you need for today. Gracing you with the glory of holy intimacy that is reserved for those who are willing to stay and enjoy.

Father, every breath is a reminder of your faithfulness. Each heartbeat designed to point me to your love. May an awareness of you drench my thoughts. May encounters of your nearness eclipse my busy moments. You are all I need. You are the experience I’ve longed for all of my life.

Genesis 18:2–3

The Passion Translation

He looked up and suddenly saw three men standing nearby. As soon as he saw them, he ran from his tent to welcome them. He bowed down to the ground and said, “My Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, don’t pass me by. Stay for a while with your servant.”

Are you Fighting a BUG?

 Hello everyone,

How is your new year going so far?  It's bitter cold here now.  I feel so sorry for my menfolk who have to go out and work in our unheated grain cleaning facility.  At least our house is warm!

Yesterday we got word that our second daughter is also "With child."  That means, if everything goes well, we'll have 2 more grandchildren by Fall!  Please keep our daughters in your prayers as neither one of them is young anymore.

Our children were raised with the pro-life agenda on steroids. With every miscarriage I had, their desire to welcome children grew and grew.  Now both of my married children are welcoming their 5th child.  Yes, it is exciting but it also makes me nervous.  So many things can go wrong BUT God is the giver of life and He has sent our family these children!

I'm busy giving BodyTalk sessions as it's flue season again.  My guys caught a nasty bug and I'm fighting it off too.  Here's a suggestion that has been helping me.  It's tea made from cloves and orange peels.  I'll include the recipe here.

I made a batch of this the other night.  I've had 3 cups of it now and my lungs really are opening up.  I recommend giving this a try.  Here's a list of things that clove tea can help with.  I think you'll see that it's worth a try!

Here's the devotional from the good folks at THE PASSION TRANSLATION.  They help me feel the presence of God more fully.  If you haven't done it yet, you may want to sign up for their emails.

Encounter God’s Heart…

Accepted

At some point, Jesus will address impure motives. Trying to make everyone happy, so they won’t think poorly of you, is a motive that stems from a fear of rejection. Doing and saying things in order to honor others is commendable, but it will lead to burnout and eventually, bitterness. It’s impossible to please both God and others, and at times, you’ll be misunderstood.

Instead of striving to earn others’ approval, live with a servant’s heart because it is your joy to do so; let it not be out of fear. Never let people bully you into service or force your obedience. Respect yourself, by letting others know how you feel in an honoring way. As you grow in your identity as the bride of Christ, you’ll gain confidence in what you are, or are not, called to do.

Father I seek to honor you in all I do. If there is any area of my life where I am led by wrong motives, reveal it to me. Help me to never trade your approval for the approval of other people. As I grow and mature, teach me how to carry myself with honor and respect both for myself and others. Let peace and wisdom guide my every decision.

Is Quitting an Option?

I haven't written here in a long time about my death experience in the Fall of 2006.  I'm thinking of it now because of this email I just read about pushing through to victory through God's power and peace.

In the Summer of 2006 I grew deadly ill but nobody could figure out what was wrong with me.  I won't belabor the agony but it felt like someone was holding an iron to my neck--for 3 months!  If I hadn't known about using clove for pain, I am certain I would not have been able to endure that Summer.

In early Fall Robert took me to a natural healing center up by the Canadian border.  There I learned from an angel that I had internal shingles on the brain.  The owner began bee venom therapy to try to save my life.  IT WORKED!!!  YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I was at the center for 18 days while the bee venom began to heal my nerves.  When I came home, my 20 year old daughter gave me 5 bee stings a day in my head.  The venom took down the inflammation in my brain and restarted my immune system which kept shutting down from the shingles.

I received 5 bee stings a day for nearly a year when my naturopathic doctor pointed me to BodyTalk.  This is an amazing system of assisting the brain to know what it needs to focus on.  As soon as I took the introductory BodyTalk class (BodyTalk Access), the healing began immediately.  After 6 weeks of doing Access on myself, I was able to give up the bee stings entirely.  That is a day I will always remember!!

After my brain started healing with the BodyTalk techniques, folks started asking me to work on them.  I've been giving BodyTalk sessions now for 18 1/2 years and it is such a blessing to be able to help people who had no hope.  I know what that was like.

So, for me, what I had to press through was the concerns that I would never live through shingles on the brain.  Many people were praying for me and Robert took me to THE HEALING CENTER OF THE NORTHERN PLAINS.  Here I was prayed for and given some Scriptures to focus on.

When the pain was the worst, I would read those Scriptures on healing OVER AND OVER!!  Death was at the door for nearly half a year but the Lord kept reminding me to read the healing Scriptures and focus on life.  I really doubt I'd be here if I had not pushed through the pain to believing that God wanted me well!!

So, whatever your problem is, I urge you to find some Scripture verses about how God helps people with that problem.  This will take your concentration off of the problem and on to our God who can solve it!  The sweetness of being totally reliant on God for life is not something I'd care to go through again.  It's scary thinking that you're going to die and leave 3 children and a husband behind.  However, being so close to God that you know He is keeping you breathing is a tenderness that normal life won't bring.

Let's all press on through our problems by leaning on our Heavenly Father who made us and who knows what we need to make it to the end of the day.   That sweetness of knowing He cares about me so much as to hold me through the long nights of pain is something that comfort and ease can't provide.

Here's a song about pressing on when that is what we must do. The wonderful news is that we don't have to do it alone!!

Pressing on towards the high calling of Christ!

I Hear His Whisper...

Don’t give up.

Beloved, when you’re in the middle of a test or unpleasant circumstance, don’t look for a quick exit. I know how difficult it is. I understand that sometimes it makes you want to run away and forget everything. But in the middle of the process, you are not alone. I’m with you every step of the way. Just as a pregnant woman must pass through the pains of labor, so you also must push through the birthing process of this trial. I promise, you will come out of this with new stores of favor and light.

I call for you to be content in the process, without needing an explanation that satisfies your impatience. If there is something you need to know, trust me to reveal it plainly—to pour out my wisdom and unveil the hidden secrets. Listen to my voice and follow its sound. I’ll take you to places of delicate pastures, where you can rest. Simply come closer, and my grace will give you the strength you need to get to the other side. I am with you. I will not leave you. Don’t give up!

We Partied the Year Away!

  Happy new year everybody.,

Yes, I know that the first week of January is over and the second week almost over but life has been super busy since January 1st.

We started the new year with about 50 people in our shop party.  Everyone brought food and, boy, did we ever feast!  Most of these were home school families that we've loved for decades.  We knew them when they were growing up and now they're raising their own families for God!  What a special time it was!

Robert and our 2 sons, Andrew and Jacob, worked hard for several weeks to prepare for the party.  There was no bathroom in the shop as it just wasn't a priority between them running our grain cleaning facility and the farm.  They'd have to run across the road to use the bathroom but no more.

The guys put up sheetrock and finished the wiring.  Then Robert mudded the seams and INSTALLED THE TOILET and the sink!  This is big time exciting especially when you have 50 people coming for supper!  :)

Robert hung the door to the bathroom hours before folks started arriving!  Privacy is kind of nice when you're hosting a group of people.  lol

The guys brought down the stove, table and chairs, and fooz ball table from the old house.  Now we could COOK!!!  Marie brought home made hot chocolate that was out-of-this world wonderful and she was able to keep it warm on the stove!  Some crockpots arrived and lots and lots--I do mean LOTS of cookies were brought by our guests too!

Jacob's girlfriend, Sharon, came and brought 3 of her siblings.  This meant that we had 4 house guests after staying up until 1:00 AM until the last party guests left for home.  I was scrambling for bedding but Jacob blew up the air mattress and I found enough sheets and blankets for them all.  Have I ever told you that I LOVE PARTIES and I love having company!!!!!!

Being we live in the middle of nowhere, I do crave being with people once in awhile.  My basic temperament is OK with being alone all day long 6 days a week but then I MUST HAVE PEOPLE!!!  We had a LOT of people on New Year's Eve.  YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

Did I mention that we have been hosting new year's eve parties for going on 30 years?  It has always been non-alcoholic and at first it was kind of small.  Word is getting out, though, that people can get together on new year's eve with other people who don't drink.

Robert had gone into the farm store that day to pay the last bill of the year and to wish those good folks a happy new year.  He stuck his head in the accountant's door saying "HAPPY NEW YEAR."  She answered that she heard we were hosting a party that night and this was 20 miles from home.  Robert invited her and her husband to join us.  Although they didn't come this time, they just may come at the end of 2026.  Who knows.

All this to say that people need each other--especially people who don't' drink need each other.  It's terrible how we can't watch a movie without someone pouring a drink for someone else.  It's like it's expected. Robert and I both had alcoholics for dads and we will not have it on our premises.  We saw how alcohol destroyed our families of origin and we won't let it destroy our family of choice.

So we hung the volleyball net and set up the ping-pong table.  We have a basketball hoop and fooz ball table.  Andrew brought his roller skates and helped his sons learn how to skate.  That was before people arrived.  Oh, I think I forgot to say that the guys backed the farm equipment out of the building and cleaned the floor to make room for all the fun!  Many thanks to our guys for all they did to prepare the shop for such an awesome celebration of the new year!

I'll see if I can add  party pictures later.  Right now I'm getting tired.  Ever since I had shingles on the brain nearly 20 years ago, I need a nap in the afternoon.  I had hoped to tell you about how my new copper bracelet is helping with my health problems.  I guess it will wait but I'll get to that soon.  Now that things have settled down around here, I should have more time to write.

I found a super special poem about the new year.  I have always liked the rhythm of poetry but they have to say something worth pondering.  I'll share this one below

  Lots of love,

  Dawn

Share His Love in the New Year

Poet: Catherine Pulsifer

A brand-new year, a chance to show,
God’s love and grace where’er you go.
Each word, each deed, a light can be,
To share His love for all to see.

Don’t fear to speak, don’t hold back,
God gives the strength for what we lack.
Plant seeds of faith, let kindness shine,
Trust in His Spirit, His plan divine.

So step in faith, with heart sincere,
And share His Gospel through the year.
Through acts of love and words of praise,
Let your life reflect His ways.

OH I WANT TO KNOW YOU MORE, LORD!!!
