Will I be SAFE with this Person?

 Hi everyone,

I am back from class and it was FANTASTIC!!  I learned so much in class and out of class.  Let's start with in class.

I studied Cranio-Sacral-Fascial therapy (The Gillespie Approach) for 6 days with Gillespie Approach instructors Holly and Kim.  I took the adult class 6 years ago and have had some major successes.  However, there have been some folks who haven't responded as well as I thought they would.  Now I know why.

From the beginning of this class until it ended the emphasis on unwinding the mouth was taught.  I was shocked at how much tension people have in their mouths.  For babies, it can be life changing to get their mouths to unwind.  Also, being able to identify a tongue tie or lip tie for these little people is essential to them having it dealt with in a dentist's office.  I was taught how to see the need for this to be done.

I am happy to report that I have found a dentist who removes these for all ages near me.  God answered that prayer right away!!  YAY

Now I need to see the babies.  Please pray for parents to find their way to me.  Having a tongue tie or lip tie removed can make nursing the joy it is meant to be.  I am very eager to begin seeing babies.  However, I live in the middle of nowhere so PLEASE pray for Father to bring the babies to me who need my help.

My out of class experience wasn't so great!!  It's hard to admit to myself that someone I thought of as a friend is totally self-absorbed.  If someone had told me before class, that I would be dealing with someone who had a mean streak laying below the surface, I might not have gone.

I am saddened by the revelation so I've been praying for her a LOT to repent of how she treated me on the trip.  Then I wondered what my response should be to her as I am a Christian.  I found this really great article just now.  I think it may have some answers for LOTS of people.

Before I share it, though, I feel the need to say one more thing to prepare you for the article.  I got close to another lady about 15 years ago.  She was divorced and a Christian.  I was staying at her healing center during the time that I was dealing with shingles on the brain.  She helped to save my life!!

My hostess had been telling me about how many times her husband had almost killed her.  Then she got a restraining order and eventually the divorce.  This survivor came to the point where she asked God if she had to pray for her husband anymore.  The answer came back "No, You are relieved of this duty."

I was very surprised at that answer--VERY surprised.  However, since that time, I came to see that her daily prayers for her tormentor were keeping her sucked into his energy.  If she was to survive and grow into the woman of God she is, she had to completely let him go.  She put her husband in God's hands and began her new life with confidence.  Then she was able to take me in and give me a place of peace to rest in!!  She has helped countless others too!

I share this article with the hopes and prayers for all of us who have been abused to learn how to pick out an abusive person right away..  I pray that we can see who we can trust and who we can't.  There's a very clear definition outlined in this article about this.  We can be spared much pain, anguish, and guilt if we can tell right from the beginning if someone is a narcissist or not.

My prayers are with you all.  It took a slap in the face for me to realize that this "Friend" was not a good choice of someone to confide in.  PLEASE pray for me as I grow out of this controlling relationship and become ALL that God wants me to be.

I love you all,

Dawn

3 Tips from the Bible on Dealing with Narcissists

narcissist
The term “narcissist” is definitely a buzz word these days.

What was once limited to a professional’s diagnosis (and a rare one, at that) is now being “diagnosed” by spouses, siblings, parents, children, and paraprofessionals like pastors, coaches, and bloggers. Because of this, there are more people being labeled as narcissists than ever before.

As Christians, how should we think about this phenomenon – is it OK to label someone like that? What would Jesus do?

Let’s start by explaining what narcissism is.

According to psychologists, narcissism is a disorder in which someone has an inflated sense of self-importance. Symptoms include an excessive need for admiration, disregard for others’ feelings, an inability to handle criticism, and a sense of entitlement. Diagnosis is rare –fewer than 200,000 US cases per year – but the condition is chronic (lifelong) and cannot be cured.

To label someone as a narcissist is a serious claim.

Lifelong. Incurable. Those are definitive words. But, even with those strong designations, maybe narcissism isn’t as rare as psychologists say it is.

The Bible speaks of our inherently selfish nature. Ephesians 2: 3 says that all of us at one time lived to gratify the carvings of the flesh, and we were, by nature, deserving of wrath. This dates all the way back to the beginning of the human race. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, it was the lure of their selfish desires – their desire for pleasure, popularity, and power – that drew them. The same things that drive narcissists.

James says that it’s selfish desires that start quarrels (James 4: 1) and that selfish desires give birth to sin and sin to death (James 1: 14, 15). And he also knows that where you have selfish ambition, you have disorder and every evil practice (James 3: 16). [Click here to access the list of evil practices/tactics that create disorder]

But does the fact that it’s our nature, in and of itself, presuppose that it is incurable? Not at all. In his letter to the Romans, Paul talks about his selfish and evil desires and desperately cries “What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me?” His answer: God, who delivers us through Jesus (Romans 7: 24, 25).

“What a wretched man I am.”

That is the difference between a narcissist and someone who isn’t.

Someone whose selfish condition is not defined as “lifelong and incurable” is able to recognize that they are wretched and need help for their condition. Someone who is truly a narcissist would never admit that. It would be devastating to their identity. It would mean having to surrender and give up control. Like Satan, control is something a narcissist must have. 1 John 5: 19-21 says that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. Satan has minions everywhere – people who are feeding his narcissism and who are codependent on him – not believing that he is evil and falling for his lies.

Like Satan, a narcissist without minions in their control to support their worth would be reduced to nothing – an unbearable situation for them. That is why a narcissist will steal, kill, and destroy to maintain control. And it is why the book of 1 John ends by letting us know that Jesus has come and given us understanding so that we are no longer under Satan’s control. And then it goes on to give us a strong warning to keep ourselves from idols so that we stay away from those who could get us to believe lies and worship them.

[Read my article on what it’s like to live with a narcissist]

Does that mean that a narcissist is beyond salvation?

We want to believe that no one is beyond salvation. After all, nothing is impossible for God. And Acts 2: 21 says that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. But therein lies the problem. Remember Paul’s cry of “what a wretched man I am”? A narcissist cannot utter that cry or call on the name of the Lord. It isn’t that God doesn’t want to save them – it’s that they don’t want to be saved because they don’t see the need to be saved. And God will not force someone to come to him who is not willing.

(As a side note, narcissists are able to learn what to say and what not to say in order to blend in with society. So a narcissist might say that they know they are wretched and need a savior - and they might even say so convincingly, but that doesn’t mean they’re feeling that on the inside or showing it on the outside. Click here to read my article on how to tell if someone is a Christian.)

1 John 5: 16 says that there is a sin that leads to death – a sin so egregious that we are told to not even bother praying for it. Matthew 12: 31, 32 tells us that this unforgivable sin is a rejection of the Holy Spirit. That rejection of the Holy Spirit defines the very nature of a narcissist. [Read my article on how people become narcissists]

Does the Bible give us any hint as to how to handle narcissists?

1. Don’t waste your time or energy on them

In 1 John 5: 16 (quoted in the previous paragraph), there’s a hint: Don’t even bother praying about the sin that leads to death. Too often, codependents (those who stay in relationships with narcissists, feeding their egos and giving them “narcissistic supply”) spend a lot of time and emotional energy doing things (including praying) to try to get their narcissist to change, to love, to be kind, and to be happy. The Bible says that we shouldn’t even bother praying for that. They can’t change, because change requires surrender, and they can’t surrender. So don’t waste your time and energy on them.

That’s not to say that we shouldn’t pray for them at all - we can still pray for the circumstances of their lives; but when it comes to their salvation, we should do as 1 Corinthians 5: 5 says: “Hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit might be saved on the day of the Lord.” [This article may help you resolve any issues of bitterness you might have so that you can pray rightly for him]

2. Don’t yield to them

When you know the truth and are able to set boundaries and stand up for yourself, a narcissist will oppose you. Galatians 4: 16 says, “Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?” That does happen. Tell the truth anyway. Philippians 1: 28 says to not be afraid of those who oppose you, because your lack of fear will be a sign to them that they will be destroyed but that you will be saved. When they see how confident you are in the truth, it will be a sign to them that you are right and they are wrong.

3. Live in peace

1 Corinthians 7: 15 tells us that if an unbeliever (this includes a narcissist [you can read my article about whether someone is a believer here]) can’t live with you in peace, then let them live without you. You aren’t required to stay with someone who, by all intents and purposes, clearly doesn’t have any interest in having a peaceful, healthy relationship with you.

[Click here to read about what the Bible says about divorce]

And when you allow the relationship to go its own way, it could end up being a good thing. 1 Corinthians 7: 16 says “how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband?” by your willingness to let go. (Hey, we could always be wrong about them being a narcissist.)

What if there’s a chance that they aren’t a narcissist?

As was implied earlier, there’s a chance that anyone could wrongly “diagnose” someone as a narcissist. Then what? Would all of this prove to be a moot point for you? The consequences of misdiagnosing someone you love could be catastrophic. It could mean the end of relationship for which you’d given up hope under wrong presumptions!

No one wants that. That’s why, in the end, it truly doesn’t matter whether you are accurate about whether someone is a narcissist. Once we understand the truth, know what love is, establish boundaries, and confidently enforce them, we develop a consistency in the way we treat people, regardless of their spiritual, mental, or emotional state. What I mean is that, when someone treats you poorly, crosses a boundary, or opposes you, a healthy person (you) has a response that is consistent regardless of who the offending person is. Here’s an example.

Let’s say that someone gets upset with you and makes an assumption about your reason for doing something. You know the TRUTH, so you

T – Trust your gut
R – Recognize that your feelings give you information
U – Undo what you’ve learned about affirmation, respect, love, submission
T – Tell yourself and others the truth
H – Hold tight to the Word of God [Read my article on God’s will]

And you say, “I can understand why you would think that, but the truth is, here is what my reasoning actually was,” and you explain yourself.

If it’s your boss at work who is upset with you, he might respond with, “Oh, I hadn’t thought about the possibility that you were thinking about it that way. OK. Let’s think about other ways to get this done.”

That’s a healthy response:

1. You had freedom to express your thoughts without fear of retaliation

2. Your perspective was heard and valued

3. The response indicated an acceptance of reality without any indication that you “shouldn’t” have thought about it the way you did

4. He took responsibility for the fact that he hadn’t thought about it that way

5. The result was an ability to move forward amicably

[Click here to access my free resource on signs of a healthy relationship]

Now, let’s say that, instead, when you say “I can understand why you would think that, but the truth is, here is what my reasoning actually was,” and you explain yourself, the response back is: “You can’t think about it that way. That’s the most twisted way of thinking I’ve ever heard, and it’s just an excuse for your poor performance.”  And you bristle at whatever might be coming next.

That is an unhealthy response:

You were retaliated against (belittled) for expressing your thoughts. Your perspective was invalidated. The person’s response deviated from reality in that there was a demand that reality adapt to him when he said that it “can’t” be like that. He took no responsibility for his part in the problem. And the result was bad feelings and a roadblock to moving forward.

Your next response is now based on what you know about how he responds, and you will use the 3 C’s [see the step-by-step guide to healthy confrontation]

  1. Stay Calm and don’t READ (Reason, Explain, Argue, or Defend)

  2. Control only what you can

  3. Minimize Contact

And you will respond with the 3 S’s in mind:

  • Safety – guard your heart, protect yourself emotionally and physically

  • Security – consider your ability to provide for yourself financially

  • Sanity – do what it takes to keep yourself clear-headed and calm

You didn’t need to label anyone as a narcissist in order to know how to respond. In fact, your first response is the same regardless of whether someone is emotionally healthy or unhealthy. Then, you tweak your responses from there based on the information that you get about the other person from the way they are responding.

What this boils down to is that the way you interact with people isn’t dependent upon whether they have a chronic mental health condition, whether they have authority over you, or even whether you’re married to them. Your response to them is based upon who you are and the boundaries that you have and the truth that you cling to from God’s word. Because you know that . . . .

hope isn’t found in our situation changing; it is found in our situation . . .

It's my Ministry!

I am beyond thrilled to share that God did a miracle for my friend, Candi, and I!!

We are going to MN this week to take the adult Cranio-Sacral-Fascia therapy (CFT) class. Here's the link for more info about CFT https://www.gillespieapproach.com/

It was 6 years ago that I took my first class and I LOVE the results that I'm getting with clients!!!!

The coordinator for this class said that the baby CFT class (which follows the adult class) had filled up in 4 days. Candi and I kept praying that we would be able to take that class.

Two weeks ago we got an email from the Instructor saying that, because so many babies need work, they were opening up 3 more spots in the baby CFT class. You got it--CANDI AND I GOT 2 OF THOSE SPOTS!!!

Now, I've been trained in baby CFT, and I've been doing it for 5 years on my grandchildren. However, my instructor asked me at that time to take an "Official" class before I would offer my services to the public so that I could work on a variety of cases in class.

I praise the Lord for opening up that opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I covet your prayers for the classes and for traveling mercies. We leave on Wednesday and will be staying and studying at the hotel shown below for 6 days.

When I get back, I will be offering some free sessions to babies who are fussy who are within driving distance from me. PLEASE be in prayer for people to open their minds to this healing modality that can solve MANY problems that babies have from the birth process! Much trauma can be reversed in baby CFT sessions.

Although I don't mind studying in a hotel, it gets kind of tough on the weekends when people come there to party.  Please pray for a quiet spot for our classes especially with babies coming in for sessions.

Also, please pray for my guys who won't have their cook and housekeeper for over a week.  I so don't like being gone from home that long.  However, in order to get this training and to help all the hurting ones who come to me, I will make this sacrifice.  It's my ministry.

Lots of love,

Dawn

BOOMER?

 Hi everyone,

Another week has gone by of our precious Summer.  How does that always happen?

On the dog front, we renamed our dog.  He came with the name Valor which we did not fit him AT ALL.  He has a terrible habit of jumping on people.  My neighbor said that he is a "BRAT," and she is right.

I think this dog is super smart.  Perhaps his former owners weren't???  The really nice thing about our dog is that he's loving and gentle once he gets his immense energy levels down to a motor boat rather than a torpedo.  I can manage the motor boat levels as he really likes his doggy treats.  ;)

So about the new name for our furry tornado.  I read that you should pick a name that has the same number of syllables as his current name.  Also it was strongly recommended that you pick a name that ends the same as the name he came to you with.

I did a search and found an article titled "600 names for male German Shepherds."  SERIOUSLY.  So I went through them all and picked the 2 syllable names that end in the sound ER.  That night after supper I read the list to my guys.

We very quickly agreed on BOOMER.  It was decided in under 5 minutes.  If he ever starts yelling at the coyotes in the middle of the night right outside your window, you will know why we chose BOOMER.  Man, does that dog have a voice on him!!

This morning Boomer crawled under the pick-up while Robert was changing the oil.  Then he lay on his side; stared into Robert's eyes; and whimpered until Robert scratched his tummy.  Then he grabbed the rag that Robert was using.  Robert was quick, too, but not before that 4 legged rascal ran off with a part of his rag.  Life sure is not going to be dull with Boomer around.  We all can see that!!

My current domestic difficulty is mold in my washing machine.  UG.  I try very hard not to let that happen.  I just found this article and decided to share it with you all too.  May you NOT need it.  ;)

Sometime before Wednesday I will post here again and tell you about the classes I have coming up at the end of this week.  I am very excited but also need prayers.

Best go see if I got the mold taken care of.

Dawn

There's Probably Mold in Your Washing Machine. Here's How to Get Rid of It

Does your clean laundry stink? The problem could be mold or bacteria in your washer.

the inside of a washing machine
Clean your washer regularly to prevent mold and mildew growth.
James Martin/CN

Your washing machine could be harboring mold and mildew, leaving your laundry smelling less than fresh. Just like other appliances, your washer needs a good scrub on a regular basis -- especially if there's a sulfury smell to your laundry.

The good news is, if there's mold in your washing machine, it's not that hard to kill.

I'll explain how to get your clothes and washing machine smelling fresh and clean again, and how to keep the bad smells away in the future. Plus, I'll show you how to spot the gross gunk, clean it out and ward off bacteria for good.

The best way to kill mold and bacteria in your washer

If you've got mold in your washer, here's how to get rid of it. Doing this monthly will help prevent mold growth.

CNET Try This

1. Put on gloves and grab an old towel that you don't care about.

2. Mix a solution of either bleach and hot water OR vinegar and hot water. (Never mix bleach and vinegar -- it creates chlorine gas, which is toxic.)

3. Dip the towel in the mixture and start scrubbing away at any visible mold. Make sure to get the detergent dispenser and around the gaskets.

4. Front-loading machines have a gasket around the door. If you have a front loader, clean and dry it thoroughly, including all the folds.

5. Run the wash cycle on the hottest setting your machine offers with a cup of bleach or vinegar. If using bleach, pour it in the compartment designated for bleach. If using vinegar, pour it in the detergent slot.

If your machine has a self-clean cycle, you can use that setting. This should kill any hidden mold that you may have missed.

6. Use another old towel and wipe away all the moisture in your washing machine. This includes the drum, dispensers, seals and any other areas you can reach.

7. Leave the washer door open to allow airflow to dry out any parts you missed.

Leave the lid open if you're not washing clothes

Mold grows in dark, moist areas, which is what your washer becomes after you've unloaded the clothes. Keeping the lid closed traps moisture, which can lead to built-up bacteria and a bad smell.

Leaving the washing machine door open helps ventilate the area and prevents mold from growing in the first place.

Damp clothes are another breeding ground for mold. If you're throwing a load of laundry in, make sure you'll be home to remove the clothes right when the timer goes off

Not only does this prevent mold from growing in your washer, but it keeps mildew out of your clean clothing, bedding and towels.

Dry damp seals and other parts after each use

After you're finished using your washing machine for the day, make sure to wipe down any part of the washer that's damp. This includes the lid, drum, door, rubber gaskets and detergent dispenser (if your machine has that feature).

Keep an old towel on hand for this purpose.

Make sure to dry the seals along with the rest of your washer to prevent moisture from sticking around. And while mold contamination can happen in any washer, it's especially common in high-efficiency (HE) front-loading washers. That's why you should regularly wash the gaskets and seals around the door and keep them dry. The gaskets make sure water doesn't leak out around the door and also do a good job of sealing in the moisture that can help mold grow.

You should also remove pet hair, crumpled paper or any other detritus from the machine right away.

washing machine compartment pulled out

If you have a high-efficiency (HE) washer, use a powder detergent made for HE machines.

Taylor Martin/CNET

If you have a high-efficiency washing machine

Liquid detergents can leave a residue in your washing machine, giving mold a food source. So if you have a high-efficiency washer, the first thing to do to keep mold in check is to make sure you're using a laundry detergent made specifically for this type of washer, which will produce fewer suds. (Look for the letters HE on the bottle.)

Better yet, steer clear of liquid detergent altogether and switch to powder detergent or pods. Whichever you choose, make sure you're only using as much as you need to wash your clothes. If you use too much, your clothes may have a smell and residue.

He's my Dream Dog?

God answers all prayers.  He really does.  It's either a "Yes" answer; a "No" answer; or a "Wait" answer but He DOES answer our prayers.  If we're not seeing that, then maybe we don't want to see it for some reason.  Maybe we just can't bear to hear the answer at this time.  That's when "Wait" is a kind answer from our loving Heavenly Father.

The Lord recently answered my prayer for a dog.  Two Summers ago my dog, Beamer, got hit on the road that goes through the 2 sides of our farm.  Last Summer we were grieving too much to get a dog.  When Spring came this year, I began looking for our new favorite critter.

I had one closed door after another.  Finally last week I saw the dog that I felt was for us.  I contacted the owner and my neighbor, Luci, and I went and picked him up on Tuesday.  It was a 2 1/2 hour drive one way so it was a long day in the car especially on the way home with a new dog in the back seat.

So now Valor is with us and I am very happy but it's not without problems.  Maybe Father gave me this dog BECAUSE of the problems that I would have to solve in regards to him.  Maybe I'm going to learn something as a result of dealing with this kangaroo critter I now own.  He's about as opposite from Beamer as 2 dogs could be.

I am not kidding about his jumping.  Valor is a year and a half old and FULL OF ENERGY.  Because he's new here, we've been keeping him tied up at night and when nobody is outside.  When I go over to let him off of the cable, he goes half crazy--or maybe 2/3 crazy.

I've been rewarding him with doggy treats for sitting down so I could release the clasp and set him free.  He seems to like Milk Bone treats.  After10 to 15 "Sit Valor" commands, each with a tiny nibble of treat, he's calm enough to be released.  HOWEVER, then he wants to jump on ME.

I've been praying about an approach to solve this jumping issue Valor has.  I remembered that dogs do not like to get wet if it's not their idea.  So I took the garden hose over by him and started filling his water tub.  When Valor came calmly by my side, I patted his sweet, little head.  When Valor came charging at me like a wild pig, I aimed the hose at him.

IT WORKED!!!   My new dog shrunk away in shock.  He simply could not believe that I would do that to him.  lol

I am so happy.

All of this to say that God truly does have an answer to EVERY problem that we may face.  I urge you to bring your problem to God in prayer and ask Him to show you HIS solution.  It may surprise you what He suggests that you do but I urge you to go with it.

Now to convince Valor that he is no longer a house dog.  Can you imagine people keeping a VERY active German Shepherd IN THE HOUSE??  To me, that is abuse. Of course, Valor wasn't always this big.  lol

Please pray for Valor to adjust to his new home here with us!  May God bless you for your prayers!

Have you heard this song?

We all love our countries.  I get that.  Most of us despise what our governments do to our people.  Most of us just want to be left alone and raise our families in peace.  We want our children and grandchildren to have good lives.  We want them to be free.

I grew up in America in the 1960s and 1970s.  Our little town of Eureka, South Dakota was doing well.  There were 1,500 residents and 250 kids in high school.  Many of the people that I graduated with had gone with me through all 12 grades of school.  There was one race and we were all white.

One of those class mates went on to work with the Peace Corp.  When he came back from overseas, my friend told me that he was shocked to learn that there were people in other countries that hate our country.  How could that be?

Over the years, I have watched as God was removed from one realm of society after another.  God isn't even welcome in a lot of churches!!  Without God as the focus of our thoughts, we quickly go astray to all sorts of depravity.  Only Jesus living in our hearts can ever make something good out of us since we are born with a sinful nature.

ALL of us Americans are descendants of immigrants except the Native Americans.  They were the first ones here.  My ancestors were from Germany.  They immigrated to Russia to be free from involvement in the military.  Many generations later, when the Russian government "Forgot" their word and started forcing my people to serve in the military, they came here--to Amercia.

America started as a Christian nation and it IS a Christian nation.  These imposters must and will be removed from office.  Sure, I want all nations and all peoples to be free.  Sure I want all peoples to know how to be washed clean with the blood of Jesus.  Did you know that America has spent more money on missions projects than any other nation?

I am writing to ask for prayer for my country.  Everywhere I look, I see destruction of what has been built up by hard-working Americans.  I weep nearly constantly for my country to be set free from this false administration.  What kind of victory is it to destroy something beautiful?

PLEASE pray for America.  I love all peoples and all countries BUT America has been the country where anyone could come to; work hard; and make something of yourself.  America has stood for freedom from it's inception.  If America falls, there is NO PLACE for people to run to for asylum.  The whole world will fall into darkness.  Of course, this is what satan and his crew want.  That's why they're working so hard to destroy our unity.

I've been heavy hearted since November 4, 2020 when a false administration stole the election.  It's all a lie that the news is telling.  Still, people believe it.  I was raised on the 6:00 and the 10:00 news too.  I thought that they were telling the truth!  It's hard to imagine that people would make a living telling lies, with a straight face, to a nation that it hurting so badly.

This morning, when I heard this song, I started to remember the America I was raised in.  That's what I want to share with you--my wonderful praying readers.  If anyone is reading this who is trying to steal freedom from others REPENT!  Your days are numbered and you WILL face the Judge of us all.

The good folks ARE in the majority.  Let's reach out to each other and build communities again.  Even if we could just unite behind ONE SONG, then our power will grow.  WE THE PEOPLE have the power to stop tyrants.  We MUST do so together!

Does ANYONE even See ME?

It's been a tumultuous Summer here.  First I got Salmonella poisoning from eating Jiff peanut butter.  Then I got poisoned from the spray in the farmer's fields.  Then I got a tumor in my right knee.  Always the Lord preserves my life--even when I would rather He not.

My friend, Candi, and I started praying for our adult children (and others) to give us the honor that is due us.  We both lived for the Lord for decades.  We both home schooled our children to serve God.  We both have fought vigilantly for what is right and good and noble for over 50 years.

I don't believe in dwelling on negative aspects of life as I don't want to perpetuate them.  However, there comes a day in everyone's life when you look in the mirror and ask the big question.  For me the big question has been for a very long time: why don't people respect me?  That question popped up again this very morning.

I went in search of an article to share with my readers.  I found this one but it has so many ads in it that I don't want to copy it.  Here's the link for you to look up if you feel Father urging you to search for ways to honor people more.

10 Ways To Honor Your Parents As Adult Children Honor Your Parents (womanofnoblecharacter.com)

I've been over it and over it in my mind.  Maybe I need to learn to honor others more--set a good example.  Then I work on that aspect of my life and truthfully--just between you and me--STILL I get very little honor.

I can honestly say that my children honor me with their lives of service to God.  What more could I want?  They're busy with their own lives.

Maybe my childhood of abuse causes me to have a greater than average need to be honored and valued as a human being???   Maybe I should forget the whole deal and keep praising God and wanting nothing for myself??  Maybe NOBODY gets any honor these days?  Maybe I didn't honor my parents enough so I don't "Deserve" to be honored???????????

When I think of the really BIG problems in the world, what difference does it make if my feelings get hurt?  GET OVER IT, DAWN!!  There are people being mugged/ raped/ murdered... RIGHT NOW!

So you see, this really is not a post with answers-- just questions.  Maybe it's ok to not have answers.  Then why am I writing at all?  Maybe it's just been too hot and I've lost too many B vitamins through my sweat and so I'm "More touchy" than usual.  Maybe everyone else is too?

Maybe I should just forget the whole deal and go back to my pattern.  "I forgive such and such for failing to share how much I did for her last Winter."  I forgive........................................

So, in all of my questioning today, Father led me to this song.  I pray it blesses you too.  Maybe the whole reason He wanted me to write this post is to show everyone that He doesn't mind us questioning Him.  It is communication after all!

  I covet your prayers!

The BIG C

I need your prayers again.  Healthwise I've been doing pretty well until this past week.  I have been forced to ponder that there is something growing in my knee.  Last night the pain was unbearable so I took a soak and now it's a little bit better this morning.

As I ponder what could be the cause this time, my mind was drawn to chemtrails.  I wondered, "Can a person get c____r from chemtrails?"  It didn't take long to find a number of articles addressing this topic.  Here is the link to one of them.  Chemtrails – Cancer In the Air | The Liberty Beacon   Apparently the answer is yes.  UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

So what is my body asking for today in light of this most unwelcome revelation?

1.  5 vitamin C an hour for the next 2 hours then 3 an hour for the rest of the day.  I recommend Liposomal C.  Vitamin C is water soluble so you can't overdose.

2.  Essiac capsules.  There are many of them available.

3.  Zapping, of course.  I use Dr. Hulda Clark's zapper but you can make your own.  Dr. Clark explains how to do this in her book "The Cure for All Cancers," which I read almost 20 years ago the first time I had things growing inside of my body.

4.  AVOID ALL PROP!!

5.  Zinc to the maximum safe amounts.

6.  Use my BETAR table.

7. Go to tea with my neighbors.  It just happens to be tea day today but I have found that, when I least feel like being around other people, this is when I MUST have contact with other humans who care for me.

8.  Ignore the "If I only were dead," messages coming from my body.  That's another way I know when I'm dealing with the big C.  My thinking is totally on death.  I already told myself that by Christ's stripes I am healed.

9.  Eat light.

10.  NO SUGAR even though the Big C screams for sugar.  NO SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

11.  Keep moving as much as possible.  This goes along with #8.  The more I move and do light projects, the less I feel like dying.  This is NOT the time to pamper myself.  This is the time to BE USEFUL!!!!  It keeps the mind feeling successful and that is crucial.

12.  ASK FOR PRAYER!!  In my younger years, I would be so ashamed if I was sick.  That must be my German upbringing of "BE TOUGH!"  However, over the years I have learned that asking for prayers is crucial to recovery and survival.

These are my suggestions to anyone out there dealing with the big C.  Oh yes, I forgot a big one.

13.  Stay away from the burn and cut folks.  They would love to make money off of your sufferings.  One way I like to explain this concept to people is this.  Do I have c____r because I don't have enough chemicals in my body?  Do I no longer need body parts all of a sudden?  NOPE AND NOPE

Again, I appreciate all of your prayers over the next few days as I fight off this bugger.  Now, what can be done about chemtrails?

Lots of love to all of my readers who pray for me.
