HARVEST OF THANKS

This is our church.  It's in the country so that makes it just right for our family.

We're not members.  My poor health has kept us from being able to attend regularly.  That, plus the 60 miles between our farm and the church, is why we don't physically attend services there every week.  However, Robert and I watch the livestream on Sabbaths and our married children attend there often.

Something that attracted me to this church is their annual festival that someone in the past wisely chose to call, "Harvest of Thanks."  What could be better than God's people coming together to give Him thanks for all of His blessings to us in the past year?

I wish you could hear the singing at Harvest of Thanks!!!  I mean, you really would be blessed.  This, then, is an invitation from me to anyone in the Jamestown area to join us in gratitude to God for the year's blessings.

We're thankful for so many things!!! They're countless really!!!  The biggest blessing coming to mind right now is the right to worship God in the way that we wish to do so.  THAT IS AN AMAZING BLESSING!!

Wherever you worship tomorrow, please keep the Alfred church in your prayers.  It's the first Harvest of Thanks since the church split earlier this year.  Many familiar faces will be absent but those who deny that Jesus Christ is the son of God are not amongst my friends!  );

Come and worship Jesus Christ with us tomorrow if you can.  If you can't, please keep the services in your prayers.

With gratitude,

Dawn
