I've always rooted for the underdog assuming that they were innocently helpless. Some tyrant like Hitler had ruined their lives and they were to remain hopelessly damaged goods.
The byproducts of incest are horrendous. The physical pain of having my head banged into the cement floor, when I said I would tell our parents, continues to this day. The emotional pain of knowing I was unlovable I have to step over continuously. The mental pain of wondering if I am ever truly safe is never ending. The spiritual pain of wondering why God didn't stop it eats away at one's confidence relentlessly.
I shutter to think how my life would have turned out had the Lord Jesus Christ not appeared to me at age 11--in the midst of the ever increasing violence. My parents had sent me to church camp because they wanted someone to "Fix me." The rich irony is that I found Jesus there who truly is the only one able to fix any of us.
After that, the Lord urged my father to show me how to shoot a rifle. Dad took me out to the pasture with our 22 and taught me how to kill the gophers. In those days, gopher tails were worth $.03 so I got to make a little money. Surprisingly I was a good shot and with practice I became confident with a rifle in my hands.
Fast forward to the night my folks were gone and I felt the familiar evil of incest approaching. Father urged me to go into my Dad's closet and take his rifle with me to my bedroom. When my brothers broke into my room ready to have some more "Fun with Dawn", I was ready for them. I aimed the rifle at first one then the other brother and warned them not to cross onto the carpet of my room. They were stunned. Where had their stupid little victim gone to?
"Will she really pull the trigger?" one brother asked the other.
To that I cocked the rifle and continued pointing the gun at them. Back and forth--villain to villain.
I was praying like mad and watching their feet. I knew that the incest would end that night one way or the other. I knew that I would pull the trigger if necessary. I knew that they would get what they deserved for destroying my life if they stepped over that little metal bar separating the linoleum in the hallway and the carpet in my room.
They seemed unable to grasp that their helpless little victim was no longer helpless. I kept on praying. Finally, the younger of the two said, "I think she will pull that trigger." I was ready to do just that when they turned away and shut the door.
That was the end of the physical incest. For years after that, though, they kept taunting me; ridiculing me; and even begging me to have sex with them. Once I asked my oldest brother to fix my bicycle which HE had broken. He said, "You take care of my needs over there in that bed and I'll fix your bike." NO THANK YOU and my bike remained broken.
I can honestly say that I had no intentions of writing about this at all today. I guess it was time. I came here to share the newest prophecy on the Elijah List. It was filled with hope for one so hopeless as me.
You see, I have always wondered how to stop doubting that things would change. Yes, I've forgiven my brothers; my parents; God; and myself. Yes, I went into counseling for incest 31 years ago and have worked on it ever since then. Yes, I look forward to life in Heaven after I die BUT why can't I come up with enough faith to believe in my healing? Why do I doubt the word of the Lord that He wants His children to be happy, safe, and pain free? How can I get my miracle of healing when I don't have faith to see good things in my life due to my terrible childhood?
If any of this is resonating with you, then I urge you to read today's prophecy. Try reading it out loud. Father told me to read it out loud and it started to register in my pain-filled body/mind.
You see, something changed when the calendar changed to the 2020s. I've been reading the prophecies for quite a while and the Lord was saying through multiple voices that He is changing things in this new decade. This has been building my faith which has been shrinking my doubts little by little.
Does God want ALL of his children safe, healthy, happy, and glowing with joy? I believe so. I just couldn't imagine it for ME! Through this word of the Lord today, I'm seeing that I have to play a more active role in all of this than just begging for God to solve all of my problems. I urge you to open your minds to see how God would have you also begin to say what you want and not what you don't want in your lives.
Let's pray for each other as we go into 2020. Let's trust God to do a greater work through us than we have ever allowed Him to do before. Let's learn together how to use our words to drive the enemy away--far, far away from us and our loved ones. Let's grasp together how much power was given to us to do this task the day that we gave our lives to Christ!! Our Savior, I am quite certain, was NOT afraid to speak up for God's will to be done on Earth.

"Decrees That Move Mountains in 2020 and Beyond"
The other day as I was in prayer, the Lord spoke to me and said that 2020 will be a year and start of a new decade where our prophetic decrees will move impossible situations out of our way. The impossible will become the possible in the lives God's people.
It's Time to Speak to Your Mountains
In a vision, the Lord showed me demonic oppositions that looked like mountains towering over the people of God. These ridged mountains were standing between their breakthrough and prayers being answered.
This is the season to activate the Word of God over your life and see mountains move at your command. The Lord wants you to look your problems, circumstances, situations and issues in the face and command them in Jesus' name to be removed. 2020 will be the season and beginning of a new decade where the Lord's decrees will prevail against every obstacle, storm and challenge you face. It's time to speak to your mountains.
Always keep in mind that we all are fighting the same ancient archenemy – the devil! However, each of our battles is not the same. Turn your opposition (mountains) into opportunities (waters) of blessings. Furthermore, we may get the same opportunities but our opposition is not the same. You have to look your opposition in the eyes and command it to obey the Word of the Lord.
Again, it's time to speak to your mountains; they have to obey you in the authority that God has given you through the Holy Spirit. Someone may ask or say, "Speak to my mountains? That sounds a little crazy, insane or off." Let me explain it more this for those who need help in understanding this allegorical, biblical language.
This is a hallmark Scripture I live by in Mark 11:23-24 (NKJV): "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
Jesus talked to things and taught that "whoever" could also speak to mountains. A mountain is primarily any obstacle that stands in the way of the Believer. We cannot see mountains flatten or become valleys in our lives if we pray, speak and decree with doubt or unbelief in our hearts. We have to speak and decree with faith. Faith activates the supernatural to happen! Faith has to match our lips and our belief systems! Jesus is basically saying, "Do less praying for mountains to move and start commanding them to."
We will be faced with many obstacles throughout our Christian journey. Oftentimes, most Believers pray to the Lord. However, Jesus commanded His disciples to speak directly to the obstacle and decree by command that it to be removed. There is nothing wrong with discussing things with God in your prayer time. We should as children of God. But when something is blocking your progress, advancement, breakthrough and blessing then Jesus said you should command (decree) it to get out of the way.
I love what Job 22:28 declares, "You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you. Light shall shine on your ways." By use of the word "shall," this verse is actually commanding us to decree. It also comes with a promise that when we do, those things "shall" be established for us.
What mountain, demonic force, resistance or hindrance is standing or hanging in the balance of you receiving your breakthrough? It's time to unblock your blessings, today, by speaking the decrees of the Lord over your life and those you love.
Most Believers just speak to God about the mountains they are facing daily instead of following Jesus' directions and speaking directly to the mountains. Your mountains have ears and they will respond if you speak to them. Are you just speaking to the Lord concerning the day-to-day problems that occur in your life? In the power and authority that has been invested in you by the Holy Spirit, it is time to command the devil in Jesus' name to get lost once and for all. God is radically increasing our faith to speak to the impossible and make it possible for us.
Oftentimes, we are waiting for God to do it for us, however, He put it in your mouth, and if you know God's will for your life, according to 1 John 5:14-15, "...[I]f we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we already possess what we have asked of Him."
God Is Raising Up "Mountaineers"
You are armed and dangerous against the kingdom of darkness. Every demonic agenda, plot and plan of the enemy against your life, family, ministry, business, marriage, church, finances and health will fall to nothing and ruins. God is raising up righteous "mountaineers" that know how to become the place where God's presence dwells and lives. You are an "unshakable" mountain that God wants to use to speak, pray and decree His will to come to pass in your life.
Psalm 132:13-14, "For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation. 'This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.'"
Mount Zion symbolizes the place where God lives, not just visits. He wants you to become a place that He may inhabit. Psalm 22:3 (KJV) puts it like this: "But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel." We crown Him (Christ) our King with our mouths through our praises.
Your mouth is a secret weapon against the enemy. Know your authority in Christ to decree and speak the will of God over everything God has put you in charge of or in authority over. The enemy is trying to shake the faith of God's people with fear. Fight back by speaking faith today to see mountains moved immediately!
Jesus addressed the faith of those who doubted. In Matthew 17:20 it says, "And Jesus said unto them, 'Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, "Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."'"
So Jesus basically says to them, "Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
Faith is being awakened in you today to see the supernatural become possibly natural every day in your life. You are the dwelling place of God so that your faith will be unshaken.
This is the prophetic word for you, for God is saying in Isaiah 52:1-2: "Awake, awake, clothe yourself in your strength, O Zion; clothe yourself in your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city; for the uncircumcised and the unclean will no longer come into you. Shake yourself from the dust, rise up, O captive Jerusalem; loose yourself from the chains around your neck, O captive daughter of Zion."
Decree God's will in this new year, 2020, and watch and see your mountains flatten and the impossible obey the voice of the Lord on the inside of you.
