Today Dr. McGee started the study of Genesis. Until I can figure out how to embed the link into each post, I'll have to share it like this. Hopefully it will take you to the page where you can listen to today's lesson.
I will say that, many years ago I was introduced to Dr. McGee's teachings. I'm sure it was the enemy who tried to keep me from listening intently. I know better now as I don't want to miss a single nugget of truth. I really like how Dr. McGee doesn't act as if he knows everything about the Bible. He knows a lot but only God knows everything. Still, Dr. McGee encourages people to see that we can continue learning more about God from His word by reading and studying it over and over. I suppose this is because, as we grow and mature, we can grasp more of what's being taught.
Here's a song about the value of hiding God's word in our hearts. I learned this song when I was a little girl and it does my heart good to hear my grandchildren singing it too. Let's stand alone on the word of God!
