Can you believe it? The Lord has worked it out for me to go to AnimalTalk after all! Robert said, "I've never seen Montana either." He's going to try to take me but, if work keeps coming in like it has been before then, he'll send Andrew along as my escort. Either way I know that I'll be perfectly safe on the road with one of those 2 mechanics along. The CP (Crysler Pacifica) is almost new but I wouldn't feel safe traveling without a man with me anyway and I know that my neck would not take that much driving. I am so thankful that my family feels that this will be a blessing to our farm to go through so much trouble to let me go to the class at the last minute!
I hope this won't seem tacky, but there IS always the issue of money. Gas is high; the class will cost $750; plus the hotel expense. I've been meaning to do this sometime anyway so this seems like a good a time as any.
You may recall that KRT allowed me to become a BETAR dealer last Winter. Since then I have finally slept through the night. The BETAR sleep units put out the frequency which the brain copies to either dream or go into deep dreamless sleep. I think that I must have been too big of a dreamer (pun intended) as I couldn't go down into the deepest sleep before I started using my BETAR sleep unit. All you have to do is plug it in close to your bed, so that's pretty easy.
There are also BETAR relax units which help you to relax when you are stressed out. These are wonderful anywhere you are tense--including driving in the car with a bunch of children.
I'd like to send you to http://www.betar.com/ if you think that you'd like to purchase one of these units at this time. They cost $150 plus shipping so it would really help me get down the road to Missoula. If I can answer any questions about the units, please let me know. I realize that this is a long shot but, just in case someone out there has been putting off buying a BETAR unit from me, this would be a great time to do so.
Oh yes, day 3 of the Master Cleanse is over and it was ok. Both Cora and I woke up weak this morning so we resorted to taking some of Dr. Mercola's whey protein powder too. She had to go to work and, for me anyway, day 3 has been the hardest in the past, so I urged her to take some protein along with her lemonade to work today. I keep praying for her as the work that she does is very strenuous and this cleanse goes deep.
I started seeing some major cleansing today so I'm happy. However, this is the first time that I've ever taken a class while on the cleanse OR gone on a long trip. It does make me a little bit nervous so I continue to ask for prayers as I make my preparations for AnimalTalk.
God bless you who keep me covered with your prayers,
Dawn

Days 8, 9, and 10
Day 8 was Sabbath which was a blessing. One does not have as much energy on the cleanse and I keep pushing pretty hard. Like I said before, I know that I could not be pushing this hard if it weren't for Dr. Mercol's wonderful whey protein powders which I take when I get weak.
Day 9 was an exciting day as it was the house meeting in Napoleon which had gotten postponed in January. 9 ladies came and we had a ball. I got 2 ladies to book sessions and sold 3 sleep machines. The best part about the day, though, came when Shawn told me that Jackie had told her, "I just came from Dawn's house and she's loosing so much weight. I'm afraid that we're loosing OUR Dawn." I laughed so hard. THEY NOTICED!
Yesterday was the first rough day. It seemed odd that it didn't come sooner but it was very interesting. Being I know how to do biofeedback I did what Cora keeps advising me to do, "ASK YOURSELF."
When I tuned in to my body, I got an answer that I had not been expecting. I've wondered why I don't loose weight on the cleans (or any time) like other people do. I end up feeling better but it took me 4 cleanses to loose 40 pounds. Cora lost 16 in one and many people loose 20 or more on it so this has been a source of discouragement to me.
What was revealed to me is that all the years of swallowing my buble gum has plugged up the works. I mean I swallowed a LOT of bubble gum. It's taken all of the former cleanses to get down to the level where we can work on this and now it has begun. I'd say, "YEAH" except that I felt like I had the worse flue yesterday and wasn't too excited about that. I REALLY felt awful--so I babied myself.
I only had one session and that was with my best friend who prayed for me and we visited again as long, so that helped. The rest of the time I slept, soaked, or sat in the bathroom--it was BAD!
I kept praying, "HELP ME LORD, I HAVE A FULL DAY TOMORROW!" He did, I feel lots better today and so I press on. I had decided to do 12 days this time as I'm up against the home school convention. I'm still not positive if I'm supposed to go through that or not so I'm praying about it. I'd kind of like to get 15 days in now that this OLD bubblegum has started to move out.
I'd appreciate your prayers today. It's going to be full with 5 clients; a BETAR meeting tonight; plus I keep looking for a cabinet for my office. It needs to be large enough to house my health library which I plan on sharing with my clients; the BETAR units; our farm's organic wheat; and what ever else comes along. It has to be nice looking but inexpensive; large enough but not taking up too much space......... you get the picture, it has to be just right.
Gotta get going but I thought that I'd bring you up to date. I covet your prayers as I finish out the cleanse!!
Keep warm,
Dawn
PS. I forgot to say that Andrew helped me design my new business cards yesterday. They have my new Bismarck office address; my new email address; my picture; the BodyTalk logo, PLUS a place on the back to write down the next session time. We finally got around to doing it on the day that VISTA PRINT sent out an email saying that they were having 90% off of Premium business cards. I'll be getting 1,500 of them so that should last for awhile and they said they will arrive before we leave for class. No why do you suppose that I'd want them before we leave for class? ;)

Link to stress relief PLUS....
Hi again everyone,
Those of you who haven't read the post that I wrote last night will need to do so for this one to make any sense. Anyway, here's the link to the BETAR website: http://www.betar.com/.
I urge all of you, as you do your best to deal with the hustle and bustle of the season, to take a moment to ponder how much better your life would be if you owned one of these tools. Of course, I'll write more about my new venture as it develops. However, I so despise getting curious about something and then not knowing where to go to get the information for me to learn more about it. Just in case you're like me in this, I am sharing the website so that you can learn from the people who designed this blessing to mankind!
And now for the PLUS part of this blog post. I also shared last night that after a long month of hair pulling and eye rubbing here, our family has finally ALL agreed on the design for our label. Our goal for decades has been to direct market our farm products to consumers. How well I recall the year that Robert sat down and figured out that, for our load of certified organic sunflowers, WE WERE NOT THE ONES WHO MADE THE REAL MONEY!!!
Robert meticulously figured out that the corporation that we sold our semi-load of sunflowers to made over $60,000 while we made just under $7,000. Does that seem fair to you? Well, I could get on my soapbox here but, with Christmas tomorrow, probably nobody would listen anyway. Instead, I'll bless you all with this picture of our newly approved label.
This is a picture of our farm from the airplane when we were returning from San Francisco. What a wonderful way to remember our 30th wedding anniversary! Every time we put one of these on a bag of our organic wheat, flax, sunflowers..., we'll remember how grand it was to rest from our labors for one whole week!
I'm sure that it would seem strange to most people that I am sitting here crying tears of joy as I look at our very own label, but it's a dream come true. SO HERE IT IS FOLKS!

That's us. The right side of the road was home to Gladys Johnson who prayed for several years that a Christian family would buy her farm. On the left side of the road is our homestead. Notice the curve of the road on the right side--I JUST LOVE HAVING OUR VERY OWN CURVE!
You will also notice that we had to list a website on our label. You can actually go there although we haven't done much work on it. Andrew has begun but that is going to be our next hair-pulling experience. Please keep us in your prayers as we do our very best to market the incredible grains that we produced here this year.
Best go join my family for lunch. If ever there was a heart full of joy, though, it is mine today!!!
Here's a hug to all of those who have prayed for me/us over the years. I LOVE YOU ALL!
