Have you ever attended a Tent Revival?

It's getting harder and harder to know who we can trust as a spiritual leader.  Just this morning I was reading about a group of thieves who call themselves "Hillsong Family."  It sounds to me like they're not a part of the family of God.  I would urge you not to give one penny to their group called "Celebrity Preachers."  When the preacher gets the glory, instead of God getting the glory, then they are not following God.  PERIOD.  END OF STORY!

As I pondered sharing about this, I thought that I need to offer you all some good news too.  I try not to bog you wonderful readers down with the bad without offering something good to ponder.  At this time, with what I've been observing, we can trust Mario Marillo to share encouragement from God.  I'm sharing his newest blog below so that you can see what I mean.

Mario has been holding tent revivals during nice weather for a long time. With the desperation folks are feeling all over our country, the gatherings are getting bigger.  I pray that this will grow and grow.  Here's Mario and he's extending invitations to his next tent revivals.  Maybe some of you can go!

Let's all keep searching the Scriptures.  Only by doing so for ourselves, can we grow spiritually and have discernment to know we can trust.

  Until next time,

  Dawn

I asked God a simple question. That’s how it all started.

Why are the tent meetings so effective? What started this explosive combination of fire, deliverance, miracles, and mass conversions?

Millions now know what happens inside our Tent, but only God gets the glory! No man could have done this. God is the only reason this is happening.

We feel compassion for those who think you just buy a tent and put it up. We have tried to warn any who would listen. There is way, way more to it than that.

But when leaders press me for an explanation, my answer is always the same. I asked God a simple question. That’s how it all started. I asked God, ‘What will it take to save America?’

Anyone can ask that question. But very few want to know the answer. And those who seek insincerely, will only get dead silence. James 1:6-7, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord…”

The Holy Spirit knows if you are going to obey. He will not frustrate the unwilling with answers.

So, the answer came. And I was not disobedient. It required an inner revolution—a revolution that is still ongoing. Here is the answer that came, step by step:

Pray and obey.

Under strict orders, we were told never to go out except by the direct command of God. His voice would command us where, when, and how we go. We are powerless until He speaks.

Highway 99 in California was our first assignment. Because we went where we were told—heaven stood behind our efforts. We invaded hellholes of despair in the authority of the Name of Jesus. No force of Satan could withstand our efforts because they were born from prayer and obedience.

We never seek the best opportunity. We only want the mind of God.

Today, that assignment is Colorado Springs. Today begins our march toward the greatest tent crusade in our history. Remember that I told you this: Colorado Springs will be the greatest harvest and flood of souls yet.

Build a volunteer army.

The fieriest meeting you will ever attend—the most exiting gathering you will ever experience—is the Saturday night when I preach to our volunteer army. They are the best people in the world.

Why are they so excited? First of all, it is because the anointing does not just remain on the stage or even in the Tent. When these warriors go out they see unsaved people healed, then saved, on the streets and in the neighborhoods.

Those who volunteer have testimonies that will burn within them for the rest of their lives. They also find a tribe of lifelong friends. And after a crusade they bring fire back to their churches.

Do not disobey the voice of the Holy Spirit if He is calling you to join us in Colorado Springs! Use this link to volunteer right now. The link will also answer your questions:

Go and get the lost and bring them to the Tent.

We always want as many lost souls as possible to attend our meetings. We go out and get them. We are certain that Americans are hungry for Christ.

We eschew all of the lies and false images that the media constantly broadcasts about Americans. We believe what Jesus said, “Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields of human souls are ripening all around us and are ready now for reaping” (John 4:35).

That vast harvest is always confirmed in our Tent. It is the reason we always need more volunteers.

Bring pastors and leaders together for a brunch.

This is one of our most effective weapons. Bringing leaders and pastors together who love their city increases the power.

We do not come as outsiders boasting of some solution. We recognize and honor those who labor and sacrifice for a city. We come to fit in with the ongoing work of God in their community. The fire of God always falls during these brunches.

Our brunch in Colorado Springs will be on Saturday morning May 20th at 11 A.M. It will be hosted at Church For All Nations, 6540 Templeton Gap Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80923.

My special guest is Lance Wallnau It is free but you must register. Use this link to register right now.

Rightly divide the Word of Truth for Signs and Wonders.

The last thing on my mind when I stand up to preach in the Tent is eloquence. The first thing is always the Word of God. The Holy Spirit has made it painfully clear to me that no miracles come unless the truth is spoken in love.

Human wisdom, wordsmithing, and trying to be cute with a modern audience is a terrible waste of time. No one will be saved or delivered. The devil does not respect glittering verbiage. But he flees from the Sword of the Spirit!

Always build a sermon by the wisdom and infusion of the Holy Spirit. What may seem ineffective to you will be the words that break chains, instill faith, and bring conviction to the modern mind.

In Colorado Springs I will preach four new messages. The crusade will be four nights, July 16-19th at 6:30 P.M. on the campus of Church For All Nations, 6540 Templeton Gap Rd., Colorado Springs, CO 80923.

It all begins next Sunday April 16 at Radiant Church. I will be preaching at 9AM/11AM and a miracle service at 6:30PM.

What will it take to save America? A deep and wide repentance in the Church. We must repent of human-driven efforts. We must lay it all down at the foot of the Cross. Our urgent need is to start doing everything God’s way.

“How great is the harvest? It is so great that we have been forced to buy a new tent every 18 months. And each new tent is twice the size of the one before. In the Colorado Springs Crusade, we will be using our new Big Top Tent that seats 5,200 people. It will literally tower over Colorado Springs.”

If you come to Colorado Springs, you can be sure that, as we are all obedient, we will see the greatest manifestation of God’s power that we have ever seen!

P,S, It all begins next Sunday April 16 at Radiant Church. I will be preaching at 9AM/11AM and a miracle service at 6:30PM

Staying SAFE in a BLIZZARD!

Seeing as we are in yet another blizzard, even though it's April, I thought I'd share some general information on what to do if you find yourself in a blizzard.  We're all doing fine seeing as Marie and I went to the store and stocked up on supplies the day before the blizzard was to arrive.

Andrew and Marie, who live one mile up the road and have a large pickup, braved the storm last night.  Being it was Passover, and they had all of the food made except for the matza which I made, they came to celebrate with us.  As Andrew led us through the service, I was reminded once again that God is sooo good to take care of His people!!

When they arrived, I had to chuckle. Both of the little boys were covered in blankets and carried through the snowbanks by Dad and mom.  Timothy, the oldest son, walked between dad and Mom.  All were covered in snow but came in laughing as we all love being together.

Being it is once again time to make lunch, I need to cut this short.  Here is the blizzard preparation guide.  May you not need it.

  Dawn

PS  Here's the definition of a blizzard.  It's snowing hard and the winds are 35 mph or higher.  This is what it looks like.  This is not a picture of our place as we have about twice this much snow on the ground currently.  I hope to get some pictures of the aftermath of this blizzard when it's finished.  I sure hope that we can get out of our house!

10 Tips To Stay Safe During A Blizzard

By Michael Serrur |March 7, 2018

Watching the snow fall from the sky can be calming and therapeutic, but don't underestimate the power of a blizzard.

Blizzards can cause power shortages, treacherous roadways, and sub-zero temperatures, and if you're not properly prepared, you may be caught in a dangerous predicament. After a snowfall, the roads are especially slick, and it's easy for your car to slip off the road. Power outages are also common during extreme weather, and without electricity a house can quickly become unbearably cold. For pet owners, a new snowfall presents its own set of challenges. If not guided by a leash, dogs can easily get away from their owners and get lost in the snow.

But there's no reason to be a victim of these blizzard hazards. By employing some simple remedies and precautions, you can enjoy the coziness of the snow storm rather than worry about your safety.

Here are 10 ways to stay safe during a blizzard.

Avoid Alcohol (Seriously)

A "whiskey jacket" is a popular way to stay warm, but drinking too much alcohol is not a good idea in extremely cold temperatures. Alcohol is dehydrating, which is less noticeable during the winter. Alcohol also interferes with the body's internal thermometer, which can prevent shivering (not a good thing), and result in an accelerated loss of body heat.

Charge Your Cellphone

The importance of a cellphone can't be overstated. These are the ultimate emergency devices, so make sure yours is charged and ready to go.

Don't Forget About Your Pets

Blizzards can be especially hazardous for pets. During heavy snowfall, keep your dog on a leash during walks and add some colorful identifying tags to the collar. Also, be wary of melting ice; it can be very painful for dogs to walk over and is potentially toxic if ingested.

Exercise Caution When Shoveling

Shoveling is a necessity, but it's also an easy way to throw out your back and even induce a heart attack. Remember to take constant breaks and stay hydrated; it's a workout after all.

Layer Up

Wearing three to four layers of clothing is the most effective way to insulate your body. Packing on some light-weight jackets or vests underneath a winter coat and wind breaker will allow you to tolerate the winter chill. Runner's tights and earmuffs are also useful for making sure no part of you is exposed.

Never Use a Generator Indoors

If you have an alternative power source such as a generator, make sure not to use it inside, even if it's located in a basement, garage, or crawlspace. The fumes it creates contain carbon monoxide, which can be especially dangerous to children, the elderly, and pets.

Prepare a Blizzard Survival Kit

Stock a bag with all the essentials that can help you outlast a long power outage. Batteries, flashlights, a battery-operated radio, bottled water, canned goods, any medications you take, and lots of toilet paper are some of the essentials, but cater your survival kit to your own personal needs.

Stay Inside

Staying off the roads and remaining indoors is the best way to avoid winter hazards, and the perfect chance to whip up some soup, but once the wind and the snow taper off, don't be afraid to step outside and enjoy the snow.

Use Flashlights Not Candles

During a power outage, avoid using candles if possible. Flash lights are a much safer alternative, especially in a household with children and/or pets.

Watch for Frostbite and Hypothermia

Symptoms for hypothermia include dizziness, exhaustion, and severe shivering. Symptoms for frostbite include numbness; flushed gray, white, blue, or yellow skin discoloration; or waxy-feeling skin. If you think you're afflicted with either, call 911.

Are you trying to do it on your own?

Our married children have been watching Eric Ludy videos for awhile for their Sabbath services at home.  We met Mr. Ludy when he was the main speaker at the ND home school convention in 2022.  Here lately our church services have been cancelled due to one blizzard or another.  On those Sabbaths, we've taken to watching Eric Ludi also.

If you want to have your thinking expand, as ours has been, I welcome you to watch Eric Ludy sermons on YouTube.  There are MANY of them available.  In fact there are numerous series of sermons to delve into.

This is what we watched yesterday.  All day today I've been emptying my gloves of all that I think is important.  I urge you to watch this video, when you have a quiet hour, to see how to walk more closely with our Father in Heaven.  Be prepared to be challenged.

  Lots of love,

  Dawn

Will WINTER ever END?

We had a marvelous Sabbath.  Everyone was feeling pretty good so I got to watch my grandsons in the afternoon.  This gave Dad and Mom a chance to talk in peace.

Then Andrew (our second child) and Marie and little David came down for supper.  We combined items from our larder and had tacos, jello with marshmallows, and lemon poppy seed cake.  YUM.  Do those boys ever like my jello.  Here's how to make it if you want a healthy version.

  1. Boil 12 ounces of water.

  2.  Mix 12 more ounces of water with 5 tablespoons of beef gelatin.  Stir this into the boiling water.

  3.  Stir until clear and take off of heat.

  4.  Add 1 container of frozen juice.  Apple is not the best and orange is awful.  Anything else is good.  I usually add a bit of stevia to make it just a little sweeter but it's not necessary.

  5.  This time I added marshmallows for a Sabbath treat but they definitely are NOT necessary.  Without them, this jello is a real health food for the bones, hair, and teeth.

After supper I found my book of house plans I had bought years ago.  That went home with my son and his family.  They're now 5 people and their house is getting a bit crowded.  Some day they plan to build a new house.  Talking about it, and doing a little dreaming, is making the wait more pleasant.

Our building project for Jacob's (our youngest child) future home across the road is coming along nicely.  This past week, Robert and crew got the roof put on and the windows installed.  I got a tour yesterday but didn't take any pictures as I was trying to ensure the safety of my little grandsons.  The project is not exactly child proof yet.  I'll share pictures here soon.

So we're at a new week.  I am asking you for prayers once again.  North Dakato is blanketed in snow several feet thick.  Please pray that the snow melts slowly so that there is no flooding along the rivers.  We've had terrible flooding after Winters with far less snow.  It all depends on how slowly things warm up which really needs to happen.

Of course, as a farm family, we want all of that snow gone as quickly as possible.  Most years we're in the fields by the end of April.  Robert said last night that, with all of this snow, it's not going to happen.  UGGGG

Here's a positive word from the Lord this morning.  May it bless you as it has blessed me.  May God bless your new week as you serve Him and bring Hiim delight!

  Dawn

"And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out." (Leviticus 6:12-13)

More Fire of Prayer

Recently, I had a dream encounter where the Lord told me that there is a greater need for more "fire on the altar." In this, it was apparent that there was a need for prayer to permeate and infiltrate the atmosphere of the region. I could literally sense that the atmosphere was not what it needed to be; more prayer was needed.

When our prayers are fervent and connected to the heart of God, no matter what kind of prayers they are, the spiritual climate is affected. It helps to understand that prayer and worship are very much connected. In one dimension, they are "one and the same"; in another, they can be different, but they always go together.

Bringing Heaven's Atmosphere to Earth

We see the picture of the harp and bowl in Heaven where each of the twenty-four elders had a harp with a bowl of incense. (Photo via Unsplash)

"Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying:

"'You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your Blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.'

"Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

"'Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!'" (Revelation 5:8-12)

As we look at this view into Heaven's realm, we see the atmosphere of Heaven – even the picture of how worship and prayer are at the heart of that atmosphere. They go hand in hand, as our prayers are as incense to God.

Notice that the elders had both the harps and the bowls of incense. This is a picture of worship and prayer; they were engaging in both, as they go together. As we engage in the Spirit this way, we are bringing Heaven's atmosphere to Earth.

Seeing Our Spiritual Climate Change

There is a certain "weightiness" of Heaven that is created through our commitment to pray without ceasing – even being carried with a worshipful heart. Another thing that is poured out through our engagement with Heaven in prayer is the "spirit of revelation."

The book of Revelation is titled such not only because it is the "Revelation of Jesus Christ," but because the essence of worship, prayer and revelation is captured and seen throughout the book. John (the beloved) was a true worshiper, being one who stayed close to the heart of Jesus. This played a part in him being chosen to see this panoramic vision of the glory of Jesus, the activity of Heaven and of things to come.

As we give ourselves over as "living sacrifices" in worship and prayer, we also see the weight of His glory released on Earth. God uses "breath" – our breath – to affect spiritual climates. Right now, you can engage in worship and prayer at home and see your spiritual climate change. It really is that simple. (Photo via Unsplash)

The sound of Heaven pushes back oppressive atmospheres and ushers in Heaven's glory. The sound of our worship, prayers and decrees of God's truth all serve to break down demonic spiritual resistance and establish God's Kingdom wherever we are.

The essence of this "fire on the altar" encounter is an encouragement to us to set our hearts to seek the Lord through worship, prayer and devotion with a whole-hearted commitment, knowing that the climate is changing as we engage with God in this way.

Just as glass is not instantly full of water but is a process, we also know, as we keep pouring out our hearts in worship and prayer, things will shift in Heaven's direction, as there is always a tipping point.

Let the fire of His Spirit burn in your heart as you simply yield to the call to seek the Lord. As you do, you will see the spiritual climate of your home, city and nation changed with the glory and for the glory of God!
