Today's the day

Well folks, it's very early but we're up and perculating because today is the first day of the North Dakota Republican party.  None of us has ever gone to one so it should be interesting.  Actually I'm very nervous, so when I saw that Pastor Prince's email meditation was in my mailbox, I took a moment to ponder his thoughts for the day.  How perfect is God to have him write THAT today.  PRAISE GOD!
I pray that these thoughts bless you too!

Happy Sabbath dear ones,

Dawn

PS.  I'm not sure why my computer is spacing thing funny today, but is is what it is.

Your Answer Is In His Word

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart;
God has given us a sure way to receive the answers to our problems and challenges. It is His Word. Every answer or solution we need is found in the Bible.

Yet, many Christians are not walking victoriously in certain areas of their lives. This is because the devil continuously wages a war of distraction against them. He has managed to take them away from the one thing that can bring them victory — the Word. He will do everything possible to prevent them from opening the Bible because he knows that the Word will deliver them.

The distraction can be very subtle: A lot of things to get done, a lot of TV programs that interest you, or it may take the form of a big problem that makes you feel that you need to focus all your attention on it. The enemy knows that if he can get you to take your eyes off the Word of God, he can keep you from winning the battle.

When you are going through a tough time, it is not enough to know that God’s answer to the problem is “somewhere in the Bible”. Find the scripture in which God has promised the solution. Meditate on it until the truth of that scripture is revealed to you. When you do this, no demon or devil can prevent that word from God from bearing fruit in your life.

Even Jesus Himself used the Word to defeat the devil in the wilderness — “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4) The way to defeat the enemy is with “It is written…”

My friend, there is no substitute for the written Word. God tells us that we will find life and health if we give our attention to His Word and keep it in the midst of our hearts. So get into the Word and let God’s promises abide in you.

Totally well

I know that I've been talking about Pastor Prince a lot here lately but that's because his message of total acceptance in Christ Jesus IS changing my life.  I remember 5 years ago, as I lay on my deathbed, reading the yellow piece of paper filled with Bible promises of healing (that I'd received from the Healing Rooms of the Northern Plains)and this fed my soul.  I read them over and over and the belief that I could be completely well some day, took over, and I recovered from shingles on the brain.

Now, as I read these words on the healing page of www.josephprince.org I felt the same way.  I WILL BE COMPLETELY WELL SOME DAY--I KNOW I WILL.

How about joining me on the journey and start filling your being with these words.

Happy Sabbath everyone!

God bless,

Dawn

Dear friend,

As you are trusting the Lord for healing today, it is so important for you to know that God wants you healed and well. My Bible tells me clearly that God is a God of love and that He is a good God (1 Chronicles 16:34; 1 John 4:16).

This means that if you are sick, God’s heart is and will always be to heal and restore health and life to you. He so desires for you to walk in health and life that He gave you His beloved Son, Jesus, so that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). God is for you to walk in abundant health and life. He does not want your body and life sapped, incapacitated or debilitated by pain, sickness and disease, and He will never withhold healing from you.

How important is your healing and health to the Lord? So important that He Himself paid the heaviest and most terrible price for your wholeness! At the cross, Jesus was judged, burnt, smitten and crushed. He paid the full price for your healing, health and wholeness so you could experience His abundant life. Today, there is no symptom in your body that is too insignificant for Him to care about, and no condition that is greater than what His finished work has accomplished.

Beloved, if you’re facing challenges in your body today, I encourage you to meditate on the love and finished work of our Lord Jesus through the healing scriptures below. These Bible verses pertain specifically to your healing. In them, you will see the Lord’s heart to heal you and your loved ones, and how your healing has already been paid for at the cross. When you see also how willingly and compassionately Jesus simply healed all who came to Him, as long as they had a physical need, faith will rise in your heart to know that He wants to, and can do the same for you.

You may find some of the verses familiar, but I pray this will not stop you from soaking yourself in these healing scriptures, chewing on them and trusting the powerful and living Word of God to bring healing and life to your body. The Bible tells us that God’s Word is “life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh” (Proverbs 4:22). So as you immerse yourself in God’s healing promises and speak them over your body, expect to receive an abundance of His divine healing and resurrection life!

Apart from these healing scriptures, you will also find a prayer at the end of the verses that you can pray or speak over yourself or your loved ones. I pray that through these avenues, you will keep receiving the healing and wholeness you are trusting Jesus for, and keep walking in an increasingly greater measure of His health and life!

God Wants You Healed And Whole

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
— Isaiah 53:4–5 (AMP)

But He was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.
— Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)

… who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
— 1 Peter 2:24

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
— Romans 8:11

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
— Romans 8:32

Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached Him and knelt before Him. “Lord,” the man said, “if You are willing, You can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” He said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.

— Matthew 8:2–3 (NLT)

“Lord, help!” they cried in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. He sent out His word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.
— Psalm 107:19–20 (NLT)

For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
— Psalm 91:3 (NLT)

He also brought them out with silver and gold, and there was none feeble among His tribes.
— Psalm 105:37

— 3 John 1:2 (NASB)

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have [it] more abundantly.”
— John 10:10

Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.

— Psalm 91:5–7 (NLT)

With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
— Psalm 91:16

“…I am the Lord who heals you.”
— Exodus 15:26

“I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,” says the Lord.
— Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
— Psalm 103:2–3

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they [are] life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
— Proverbs 4:20-22

Everyone Who Came To Jesus Was Healed

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
— Matthew 4:23

News about Him spread as far as Syria, and people soon began bringing to Him all who were sick. And whatever their sickness or disease, or if they were demon-possessed or epileptic or paralyzed—He healed them all.
— Matthew 4:24 (NLT)

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering.” Jesus said to him, “I will go and heal him.”
— Matthew 8: 5–7 (NIV)

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore [our] sicknesses.”
— Matthew 8:16–17

…Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!” And the man jumped up and went home!
— Matthew 9:6–7 (NLT)

Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them [the] lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them.
— Matthew 15:30

Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed Him.
— Matthew 20:34 (NIV)

And He entered the synagogue again, and a man was there who had a withered hand. So they watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. And He said to the man who had the withered hand, “Step forward.” Then He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?” But they kept silent. And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched [it] out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other.
— Mark 3:1–5

A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding. She had suffered a great deal from many doctors, and over the years she had spent everything she had to pay them, but she had gotten no better. In fact, she had gotten worse. She had heard about Jesus, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe. For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” Immediately the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition.
— Mark 5:25–29 (NLT)

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want Me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
— Mark 10:49–52 (NIV)

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.
— Luke 4:40

And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed [them] all.
— Luke 6:19

A funeral procession was coming out as He approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. When the Lord saw her, His heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” He said. Then He walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” He said, “I tell you, get up.” Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
— Luke 7:12–15 (NLT)

And a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then He put His hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.
— Luke 13:11–13 (NIV)

One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, He asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking!
— John 5:5–9 (NLT)

“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.”
— Acts 10:38

Prayer For Healing And Wholeness
“Lord Jesus, I thank You that You love me and that You are both able and willing to heal me. At the cross, You took all my sicknesses and pains in Your own body, and by Your stripes, I am healed! Your body was scourged and broken so that mine can be made whole. I receive all that You have done for me and I rest in Your finished work. There is nothing more for me to do. As I wait on You for the complete manifestation of my healing, I choose to focus on and give praise for Your great love for me. Amen!”

Just in time

Good morning,

I just made Robert's and Andrew's lunches and now I'm going to enjoy my SunSplash and then I'm going to soak in my whirlpool.  It's not good when I have clients in my office today and I STILL feel like I'm 200 years old.

Just in time, though, came Pastor Prince's words in his daily email devotional.  Just in time, he reminded me that I don't have to DO anything but believe that my wonderful God in 3 persons can do ALL things, in spite of me, if I am willing to let Him.

I have been so blessed with Pastor Prince's words and I urge you to listen daily too on his website: www.josephprince.org.  You can also sign up for his free daily email to keep your heart fixed on God who never gets sick.  Can you imagine NEVER getting sick?

Today I covet your prayers as I see clients in Bismarck and get turkey feed for our baby turkeys which arrive one week from today.  I also ordered a bottle of Noni from Terrys as they haven't had it on the shelves the past 6 times that I've been in there.  They called yesterday to say that it's in, so I'm glad as that almost always snaps us out of bugs quickly and we're only 2 days away from the Republican convention now.

PLEASE open up your heart to Pastor Prince's encouraging words of grace in a works centered society.  All around the world, people try to impress God with how good they are or how much they have done for Him.  However, the Bible clearly teaches that our righteousness is as filthy rags to God.  Nothing that we can do can impress God EXCEPT to love Him.

How do we learn to love Him?  The answer is in letting go of the "Control" that we think we have over our lives, and let God have total control over who He sees us becoming day by day.  God loves us so much AND He has a plan for each life to be abundantly happy in Him.  How could we possibly improve upon HIS plan for our lives?  How could WE make this day be a happy day when we don't even know what makes us happy?

We are so fickle.  We think that, if we can have this or that, then we'll be happy.  Sometimes we think, if this person was our friend, then we'd be happy.  Others think that if they had this type of influence over others, then we'd be happy..........

Do you know what all of that is?  It's OUR trying to make OURSELVES happy.  There IS no happiness outside of God--NONE!!!  I urge you to read Pastor Prince's words and let them seep into your being.  God IS the answer to all of our problems and He IS our loving Heavenly Father.  I urge you to turn it ALL over to God right now and have a wonderful day!

Hugs to all seekers,

Dawn

God Says ‘I Will’ In The New Covenant
Hebrews 8:10,12
10
… I will put My laws in their mind… I will be their God… 12… I will be merciful to their unrighteousness… their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

You may be feeling stressed at work today because your boss just gave you a list of things to do. Maybe he told you, “You have to type this letter. You have to meet this client. You have to write this report. You have to…” Wouldn’t it be nice if your boss had, instead, said, “I will type this letter for you. I will meet this client for you. I will write this report for you. I will…”?

Well, your boss may not be that gracious, but your Father in heaven is! When He found fault with the old covenant and established the new covenant (Hebrews 8:7–8) in His Son’s blood, His “Thou shalls” became “I wills”.

You see, under the old covenant, the focus is on youThou shall not… Thou shall not… Thou shall not… It is all about your performance, your obedience, your works. But under the new covenant, God says, “I will put My laws in their mind… I will be their God… I will be merciful to their unrighteousness… their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” It is no longer you working for God, but God working for you, in you, through you!

“Isn’t there something for me to do?” you may ask.

My friend, the only thing for you to do is to believe God’s “I wills”. The more you believe His “I wills” or promises, the more you will see His heart for you and the more your faith will grow.

It is foolish for me to just tell you, “Come on, man, have faith!” You will still find it hard to have faith because I am not giving you anything to build faith in you. But if I were to tell you all about what God says He will do for you, faith will arise in your heart. Faith is a response to knowing what God says He will do for you.

So the best thing you can “do” under the new covenant is to not focus on what you must do for God, but what God says He will do for you!

Home school convention

For as long as the children can remember, we've gone to the home school convention every Spring.  For about the first 10 years or so, that was the only fellowship that we had with other home schoolers.  Now we have the home school convention AND Prairie Days.  Being we have become more politically active, this too has brought us contact with other home school families.  In this picture, you can see Andrew visiting with the young man in front of his booth whom Andrew met at the Minot Appleseed Shoot, which is yet another way that we've met folks.  This young man's name is Jessie and he's a Rifleman already--which means that he is a VERY good shot.

I told Jessie that I'm going to make it to Rifle woman some year and that maybe I'd try again at the one in Minot at the end of April.  He said that he's planning on doing some videoing for the Appleseed Program and I said that then I'll try for Rifle woman at another shoot.  Good grief, it's hard enough to be modest in dresses at a shoot without being FILMED!  He was a nice young man and that's his sister beside him.

Andrew was in charge of selling convention CDs and MP3 downloads this year.  During the slow time, when I was helping in another booth, I heard Andrew playing his banjo.  Somehow, it didn't seem out of place at all--in fact, it sounded kind of home schoolish.  ;)
Our friends, the Chris Stevens family, invited us to stay with them overnight on Friday and Saturday nights.  This saved the wear and tear that driving back and forth would have caused AND the hotel expense.  This is such a special family and I hope that all of you will get to know them as Chris serves as the North Dakota Field Coordinator for the John Birch Society.  Here Cora is with Liberty and Victoria.  How she enjoys spending time with girls!

This is Mrs. Stevens and the best cook that I have ever met!!!  I am serious, folks, you should taste her home-made pizza--FOUR DIFFERENT KINDS!!!  Thank you, Mirella, for all of the time that you put into making such wonderful food for us while we were in your home!!!  She even let me flake my own oat groats which was THE best oatmeal in the world--freshly flaked--oh my!

Here is little Pristine who truly IS very shy.  Cora told me, though, that after sitting by her for a few meals, those little legs reached out and grabbed Cora's leg several times just to make sure that Cora knew that she was loved.  ;)
Chris and Mirella (pronounced ME Rell A) also have a bright son named Titus.  He and Jacob took on each other in chess.  I was so happy for Jacob because he is forever begging someone to play chess with him.

Pristine isn't shy with her papa.  :)
On Friday night came my very favorite event of the year--the talent show.  I met this woman on Saturday and found her to be a true kindred spirit.  She also sang in the choir and has an awesome voice!

This woman's brother was one of the speakers at the convention.  I was VERY happy that he persuaded her to play her violin for us--it was just heavenly!
This is the Devil's Lake home school group choir.  They are directed by Lori Neinhous whom we know through the Alfred church.  What an awesome choir they'll have in a few years if they keep it up!

Now these are the moms from the Devil's Lake area and are they every good.  It is very hard for me not to salivate when I hear good singing like this.  I did get to sing, though, in the home school choir on Saturday morning but, alas, I have no picture of it because all of us with cameras were all singing in it.  I hope that Andrew posts this song to You tube as it was phenomenal!!!

Of course, one of the best parts of the convention is seeing all of the sweet babies.  During the talent show we sat behind this man who held his little one the whole hour and a half.  She never stirred and it brought back memories of Cora in Robert's arms.

I got this of Cora and Andrew as they watched the families share their talents to bless us all.  This has long been a family favorite.  You'd think that some day I'd be able to talk them into sharing as a family at the convention, wouldn't you?
Then, Cora got this one of Jacob and I.  You know, it used to bother me that I came from the family with the biggest noses in all of Eureka.  My brother they called, Hawk, because his nose got broken in a baseball game.  It doesn't bother me anymore as there's not a thing in the world that I can do except pay someone to surgically change it and I have lots better things to do with my money than THAT!  Besides, I raised 3 children who love me--big nose and all--and that's what matters.

Of course, as much as I love watching parents with their children when they're little, I REALLY like watching parents with good relationships into adulthood. What a beautiful tribute to this mother that her 30 year old son said, "Yes," when she asked him to play a couple of songs with her.  TOTALLY COOL!

Jacob was videoing our choir practice on Friday night when I looked up and saw his head close to Josiah G.  Those two were babies together--now look at them.

Here's Cora with her dear Geiger friend.  Miranda surprised Cora with a large basket of goodies in honor of Cora's 25th birthday a few weeks back.  There were treats for Cora to eat; some for her to smell; and even one for her car to smell good--when it's ready to hit the road.  We love you Miranda!!
It wouldn't be a complete summary of the convention without mentioning that Cora and I had a ball helping the Geiger family prepare for their 2 main meals--over the noon hour.  I am happy to say that we donated the potatoes for the hot meal on Friday which was just wonderful.  The Geigers are so incredible to take on preparing ALL of the food for the convention attendees.  Praise God for this awesome family!
Cora and I left for home around 6:00 on Saturday to help Robert finish up chores.  The boys stayed and helped people pack up and they enjoyed the potluck that night.  Thanks, ladies, for sharing your left-overs with my hungry boys.

It was a wonderful get-away and I want to publicly thank Robert for doing the chores 5 times by yourself so that we could spend some time with others who love the Lord and serve Him by home schooling their children.

Did I say that I may have persuaded the fellow at the filling station in Jamestown to home school next year?  I was just so excited that it showed so we'll be looking for him next year.  How about you?  Did you ever think about home schooling your precious gifts from God?  Hat's off to those of you who do!!

God bless all who love the Lord,

I AM the righteousness of God in Christ

Hi everyone,

The home school convention was just awesome and, hopefully, sometime this week I'll have time to post about it with pictures.  However, seeing as I have a client coming here soon, and 3 others today, I will leave you with Pastor Princes' devotional for today.  Ever so slowly I am starting to see the person that I am in Christ.  I don't have to DO anything, but get out of the way, and my life WILL be the life that I have always dreamed of being--abundant and rich!

Praying that you'll be as blessed as I was by today's devotional.  If so, you'll want to sign up to receive Pastor Prince's FREE email to keep you revelling in the richness of God's love.  Here's the link to sign up: grace.inspirations@josephprince.org>

Happy today,

Dawn

Confessing Your Righteousness Pleases God
Romans 10:6
6
... the righteousness of faith speaks...

Every time you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ”, God the Father is pleased. When you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, it reminds Him of what His Son has done for you to become righteous.

Also, by making you righteous, God is showing Himself righteous — “to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus”. (Romans 3:26)

Each time Jesus hears you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” it brings much pleasure to His heart too, because you are laying hold of what He suffered and died to give you.

The Holy Spirit, who now indwells you to convict you of righteousness (John 16:10), also rejoices when you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” He is pleased when you flow with Him.

The delight of the Godhead is not the only thing you gain when you declare, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.” The Bible tells us that when you “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness… all these things shall be added to you”. (Matthew 6:33)

Whether it is food, clothing or other necessities in life, “all these things” will be added to you. They will not just be given to you, but added to you as your inheritance when you seek first His righteousness.

You don’t need to use your faith for every single need in life. You just need to use your faith for one thing — to believe that you are the righteousness of God in Christ, and it will cause all the blessings you seek to come after you and overtake you!

MUST SHARE THIS

What?  Three posts in one morning?  Oh my, I MUST have more energy.  It's just that I wanted to share about my joy with the hormone therapy (scroll down); I needed to share the prayer request for little Lola (scroll down); and I love to share how God blesses me through Pastor Joseph Prince because he gives me such insight into how God views me as a winner EVEN WHEN I FAIL HIM!!!  Here's Pastor Prince to explain for me.

God bless all you who love Him!

Dawn

Urgent prayer request

Everyone PLEASE pray for little, Lola, who has been sick all of her life.  I did her first session last night but this morning I received an email from the grandmother saying, "Lola still sick today - high fever, vomiting, not eating .... "

Let's all intercede for Lola together now.  "Please, Lord Jesus, heal little Lola with your precious healing power."

  Amen? church, Amen?

A new me

WOW--am I ever excited this morning.  I think everyone knows that I started working with Dr. Jerry Tennant of www.tennantinstitiute.com.  Well, my suppliments came last week and I started using them which caused a very large detox that I survived.  ;)  In other words, it wasn't very pleasant.

Well, the hormone therapy that Dr. Tennant ordered for me had to be compounded and they don't do that in Napoleon.  Then, last week when I got to Dakota Pharmacy in Bismarck, where I had them send the prescription to, I learned that they didn't fill the prescription because I was a new patient and they don't fill things the first time for new patients unless they hear from the patient first.

Anyway, this past Tuesday I picked up the hormone therapy and the progesterone that I take before bed.  It's very interesting how the hormone therapy is prepared.  You see, they fill these little syringes with the exact mixture of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone that I need according to Dr. Tennants evaluation of my symptoms.

So there are 10 days worth of hormones in one syringe, and I got 6 of them, so I'm set for 60 days.  Each day I squeeze one millileter out onto my thigh and rub it in with my wrist.  The pharmacist said that you rub it in with your wrist as it will absorb the extra whereas the palms, being so rough, will not.  These are the results of my first millileter yesterday.

Moments after I rubbed my very first millileter into my thigh, I went out to pick up the mail.  All the way to the mail I experienced this most incredible happiness that I can't ever recall experinecing.  I was so happy I sang and danced all the way out to and back from the mailbox.  Can you imagine how much energy this must have taken?  I was just so happy.  It's like my body was saying, "Finally you got it right."

I had high energy pretty much all day except right after lunch which is when I usually feel the worst.  Then I went and listened to Dr. Coldwell and snapped right out of it.  I felt like moving my body even more and went and bounced with Jacob on our new tramponline which just doesn't happen.

Then, at suppertime, it was just amazing too.  When I had eaten half of what I usually eat, I was full.  It was kind of funny as I reached for a second slice of my favorite Pepperjack cheese, all of a sudden, my body said, "I'm full."  I truly was full--more full than I have ever remembered feeling!  I was so happy as I realized the power of getting the right hormones in my body.

I slept well last night and this morning there was another miracle in the bathroom.  I can honestly say that NOTHING has ever worked like this.  I've taken herbs; done Master Cleanses; eaten fiber until I gagged but NOTHING HAS EVER WORKED LIKE THIS!

Actually, I'm quite shocked.  I knew that energy levels; happiness levels; deep sleeping, and feeling full were all controlled by hormones.  However, I did not expect that my bowels would work like they have never worked before all from ONE dose of hormones that are perfect for me!!!  I am so happy that I'm shedding tears of joy right here and now!!!  I'll tell you, that Dr. Tennant knows what he's doing!!!

I am so very happy this morning as we head for the home school convention.  Usually I feel self-consious with my chunky body amongst all of the "Perfect" home school moms.  Anyway, it always felt like every woman there was thinner than me.  I would comfort myself with, "They have no idea of all that I have been through.  Why, my very existence is a miracle--do they expect me to be BEAUTIFUL too?"

I do realize now that this was MY self-condemnation that kept me so misearbale and I praise God for Pastor Prince to point me in the direction of extending myself the same grace that God extends to me.  However, I am still VERY happy that my hormone therapy has begun before I go to the convention!  Having hope of being thin again is much better than NOT having any hope of it ever happening!!!

Dear reader, if your body won't let you shed weight no matter what you do; if your body temperature is always low; if your hair is falling out at ever increasing speeds; if your nails have ridges in them that you try to hide unsuccessfully; if you're depressed for no apparant reason; AND if you're ALWAYS tired, then most likely you have hypothyroidism too.  Even if your doctor's tests show that your thyroid is "Just fine", their tests are measuring the fake thyroid hormone that your body produces when you have floride in your body.  Just call Dr. Jerry Tennant, at www.tennantinstitute.com and he'll get you perculating again.  GO FOR IT!!!

Please keep Robert in your prayers as he has again very graciously offered to do chores so that the children and I can go to the home school convention.  Please keep us in your prayers so that we accomplish whatever God wants us to accomplish while there and please pray for safe travels for everyone attending the North Dakota Home School Convention in Jamestown this weekend.

We're off and this year, I'm truly excited to show up!

No Condemnation

My friend/client, Diane, has been telling me about Pastor Joseph Prince for several months now.  I can clearly recall how jubilant she looked when she showed up in my Bismarck office for her session a while back.  She shared how Pastor Prince was teaching, on his CD series CONDEMNATION KILLS, how people can't get well if they buy into this philosophy that "I'm just no good."

Well, Diane loaned us several of Pastor Prince's CD series when she came for another session last week.  We listened to the first CD in CONDEMNATION KILLS in our home church yesterday and I was deeply blessed.  I never understood before how to get over the damaged goods syndrome which I picked up in my childhood home.  Some part of me always believed that I didn't deserve all of God's wonderful blessings.

Pastor Prince says that it's not that Christ doesn't love us, it's that WE don't give HIM a chance to let His love flow into our lives.  In other words, we've become accustomed to conditional love (which really isn't love at all) that we can't quite grasp being loved just because we are.

Today I've been listening to Pastor Prince's HAPPY AND HEALTHY CD set.  It's the same theme again.  It's not that God doesn't want us to be healthy and happy--it's that we don't think we deserve these gifts that He is longing to pour into our lives.  I know that I've heard this thought before, but somehow when Pastor Prince says it--it sticks in my grey matter.

Well, if I've made you curious, then I urge you to meet Pastor Prince here:
http://www.josephprince.org/.  Pastor Prince also has lots of videos on You Tube so check him out.  You'll be happy to hear his message of unconditional blessings from God just waiting to be poured into our lives.   I loved his description of the word Shalom which means so much more than "Just" peace--as if peace isn't enough.

Shalom dear friends--be blessed in EVERY way that God has for you today!

Awesome site

Hi everyone,

I'm slowly, in my "Spare time," making my way through the pile of information that Dr. Tennant wants me to read.  I came to the page about the Mediterranean Diet and was intrigued.  I went to this site : http://www.oldwayspt.org/ and fell in love with their writer.  Talk about inspiring someone to take the time to totally enjoy food.  Did you know that eating is supposed to be inspiring???

Well, I'm going to give it a try.  Although I didn't fully convert to GAPS, I was faithful to it for nearly half a year and lost not a pound.  I lost a little bit at first but it came back.  If this is YOU, then you need to go to Dr. Tennant's site too as he has the answer to this problem and it's called HYPOTHYROIDISM!

Dr. Tennant says that folks problems begin with not enough stomach acid and it's all downhill from there.  I started his supplementation program too and so far I've noticed that I'm grumpy and tired more.  I suppose it will take a little while to get used to everything.

Please keep me in your prayers as things start to shift for the better.  Dr. Tennant says that, usually, people are at an ideal weight a year from when they start with him.  That's at least HOPE.

In the meantime, you may want to watch this video which Dr. Tennant recommends.  I've known for a long time that I need to deal with my fillings and crowns.  However, I have been cautioned not to do it until I am strong enough to deal with it.  I told Dr. Tennant that I am hoping that he can get me strong enough to deal with what's going on in my mouth.  After watching this, I'm very glad that I found Dr. Tennant.

We won

Hi everyone,
I'm so glad that Cora posted about the district convention as I've been swamped with clients and my newest project.  What is my newest project? you may be wondering.  Well, it's trying to take care of ME.

You see, Andrew gave me the book HEALING IS VOLTAGE for my birthday written by Dr. Jerry Tennant.  I could see that Dr. Tennant probably holds the remaining keys to unlocking abundant life for me so I began the process of becoming one of his many patients from around the world.

A large box came today from Dr. Tennant's office so that I can begin the supplement regimen that he feels will pull me out of hypothyroidism.  Dr. Tennant feels that my stubborn weight; all the miscarriages; and my rapid hair loss are all from hypothyroidism.

Dr. Tennant also wants me to follow the Mediterranean Diet.  What is that? you may be wondering along with me.  Actually I have a 35 page download of prescription information from Dr. Tennant to wander through so there's no time like the present.  I am just so happy to have found someone who feels that he understands my long list of complaints AND what to do about them.  If you have stubborn health issues, perhaps you can get help from Dr. Tennant too.  You can find him here: www.tennantinstitute.com

Anyway, back to the election.  It was a very interesting afternoon/evening.  We left here at 12:30 and got home at 9:00 so it took awhile.  Anyway, there were 60+ people vying for 30 seats.  All of our current legislator's names, and their wives' names, were listed on the ballot.  I wondered if we had a chance.

It was truly awesome how many of our friends drove over to vote for us--just awesome--and I love you all for supporting us like this!  Anyway, we were pleased when we learned that Robert and Andrew tied for that 30th seat.  Robert gave way and let Andrew take it as Andrew is very interested in pursing politics and Robert is not.

This left Robert as first alternate and I am 4th and Cora is 6th.  This means that 55 people voted for Robert and Andrew; 50 for me; and 48 for Cora.  Some people who were precinct delegates told us that they voted for us too.  These are people who are neighbors or church members or our very own legislators.  How cool is that?

It was a beautiful day and Jacob and I walked over to the implement dealer while they were counting votes.  He was pretty patient all afternoon what with his little interest in politics and his large interest in tractors.  It was a gorgeous evening and I got lots of pictures on my iPod which I will have him help me get on here somehow sometime.

I'm off to read about iodine and B12.................  Oh, I am so excited to think I'll be well, completely well, within a year.  Dr. Tennant told me that most people are at their ideal weight no later than one year after they begin his hypothyroid regimen.  My ideal weight, can you imagine?????????????

To health!

Why I'm running to be a delegate

Hi everyone,

Happy Sabbath to all of you Sabbath keepers out there!  This Sabbath certainly will be quite different than most of them which we quietly spend at home.  Today I'm going to try to get elected as a delegate to the State GOP convention held in Bismarck at the end of this month.

Why would I try to get involved in politics when I am so very busy with my BodyTalk practise plus everything else that I'm doing?  That's a good question and one that must have a better answer than, "I'm doing it to support Andrew's efforts."

Last night a friend sent me this email and then I had fuel enough to support this decision.  I keep remembering, in that angel show about a decade ago when Monica said, "Evil prospers when good men do NOTHING!"  In this email there was enough information to take me out of my, "Let somebody else do it," mode and get it confirmed in my mind that, yes indeed, God DOES want me to run for this position along with the rest of my family.

Is there evil right here in North Dakota?  Oh yes, my friends, it's time that we woke up and recognized that the establishment IS doing evil right under our noses.  Please folks, please, pray for and financially support Paul Sorum who will run a different kind of ship than the the one that we're sailing in now.

I covet your prayers for myself and my family today.  Further, I urge everyone who is waiting for "Things to get better," to get out there and DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE PROBLEMS!  Here's the email.

The Dickinson Press just announced that over half a million dollars - $600,000 - was just handed out to three businesses. WHY??   The Enchanted Castle group admitted that "A bank wasn't going to loan us the money to do the castle in Regent.." And that is because? It won't prosper! So our government hands them the money?? OUR money!

The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation doesn't even know what they need the money for! $30,000 was just thrown their way.  And KMM, one of the most successful businesses in our state for decades, received $300,000? What for?

I would like to see which people are on the Boards of these organizations, and on the receiving end of these funds, and who of them 'donated' to the incumbents' campaigns. Can someone cross reference that? Check out both Dalrymple and Goettle's donation lists.

Folks, how would YOU like over half a million dollars for YOUR business? Your 'failing' business! How about to pay some bills this month? Purchase something you NEED? It's YOUR MONEY they are throwing away.

THESE are SPECIAL INTEREST groups - that are being funded because of YOUR PROPERTY TAXES. And this is only THREE of them in one small little area on the western side of the state. How many more are there throughout the entire state?

WITHOUT PROPERTY TAXES, these funds would go to LEGITIMATE items that your property taxes currently have to pay for.

NO TAXES are needed to REPLACE Property taxes. The money is THERE. It's being thrown away!

YOU should be able to KEEP YOUR MONEY AND YOUR HOME, and not allow these wasteful special interest fundings that should not happen in the first place. Eliminating Property taxes will force the government to spend the money where it BELONGS.

Some other questions we need to ask:

1. "Wasn't government established to PROTECT our rights, not to take them away?
The government should be protecting my right to own my own home and property - not confiscating it.

2.. Why are all the opposing coalitions government based, funded, or organized?
Because the ones opposing it are the ones who SPEND it.

3. Why are citizens being oppressed with the continual imprinting that they can't function without the government taking their money and telling them how to live?

4. As I understand M2, for the first time, we will have complete control over how the money is spent. Why is the government fighting so vehemently to stop that?

5. By eliminating property taxes, the government will be forced to stop funding special interest groups and organizations that they have no right to fund in the first place. We will force them to use legitimate taxes for legitimate purposes.

6. Telling citizens they will lose their schools is a scare tactic that holds no validity. I understand that 82% of school funding comes from the GENERAL fund, not property taxes.

7. I listened to one of the heads of Keep It Local coalition tell us how terrible it is to not pay property taxes... but when a man in the crowd pointed out that that VERY man telling us this, does NOT PAY property taxes HIMSELF.. and asked the speaker why that is... the speaker refused to answer the man. Why are the people TELLING US how BAD it is to not pay p-taxes, the very people who DO NOT PAY PROPERTY TAXES THEMSELVES?

8. We're told that it is such a disgrace to let out-of-stater property owners not pay property tax... yet the very same government people telling us that, are OFFERING to out of state businesses that very thing - that they can come here and not pay property tax!

What kind of lies are they telling to citizens! If anyone should not pay property taxes, it is those of us who live here, own property, and pay ALL kinds of taxes in our OWN state.... yet our own government tells out of state businesses they DON'T HAVE TO PAY PROPERTY TAXES! Then they tell us what a BAD DEAL it would be if WE don't pay them, because out-of-state property owners would get that tax break???

TAKE BACK YOUR MONEY... and KEEP YOUR HOME.

Can there truly be any rest for the good people of North Dakota while this kind of rubbish is taking place under our noses?

Here's to pondering,

Prayer requests

Please pray for Robert who has a lot of swelling in his face and a very sore mouth.  He's on his way back to the dentist for a checkup right now.

Please pray blessings on Cora who turns 25 today and is, oh, so special.

Please pray for me as I balance everything usual PLUS a very difficult new client--meaning that she has great difficulties.  Oh yes, please pray for Machelle who is so sensitive to electricity that they can't have the water heater on at the same time that the furnace is running.  This means EITHER a warm house OR a warm shower.

Please pray for Andrew who is discouraged with the results at the polls last night.

Please pray for Jacob who is preparing for his 10th grade testing.

Please pray for all of us as a group as things shift with new people coming into our lives.

I praise God for bringing us this far and thank all of you for your prayers for me and my family!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CORA!!!!!!!!!!!  I hope you enjoy your day!

Love to all!

What do you see?

What do you see in this picture?  This is the plant that my friend and client, Jean, gave to me last year in appreciation for all of the work that I did for her following her stroke.  What do you think of this plant?  What sticks out to you in your mind?
Being a reforming perfectionist, I see the one yellow leaf in the middle of the plant.  This plant drinks water like a horse and it'll let you know the second it's thirsty. I'm always checking for yellow leaves so that I can keep up with it's incessant thirst.

Did anyone notice all of the gorgeous healthy leaves?  I mean, most of the leaves are just wonderfully healthy but I hardly ever notice them.  It's that one yellow one in the middle that spoke to me this morning, "You didn't water me soon enough!"

Why am I sharing this concept this morning?  Well, it's because today is Super Tuesday and people will go to the polls tonight to pick the person that they want to be our next President.  True, it's a straw poll, and not the official one, but it will give everyone an idea as to who is in the lead.   I'm going to head over to Wishek to fill a table with all the Ron Paul brochures that we have and then I'm going to vote for Ron Paul.  Robert, Andrew and Cora are going to do the same thing in Hazelton.

You know, our viewpoint is what determines our actions.  Recently I read a letter from a relative saying that he's discouraged about politics because nobody perfect is running for President.  That's like saying the only leaves that matter on my plant are the yellow ones while ignoring that 99% of the leaves are lucsious and green.

It's true that Ron Paul is not perfect but he does have a perfect voting record.  Every single vote that he made during his terms in the US House of Representatives was according to the Constitution of the United States of America.  EVERY SINGLE VOTE WAS A CONSTITUTIONAL ONE--that's better than my plant.

I'm urging everyone who reads this, who is in one of the 10 states holding their caucuses today, to go to the polls today between 5:30 and 8:30 PM and vote for Ron Paul.  Let's focus on the good here, folks, and realize that his political enemies have warped his concepts to make him look like he's anti- Israel.  Actually Dr. Paul's cuts to foreign countries will help Israel because we will stop funding Israel's ENEMIES!!!

People who are opposed to Dr. Paul on the grounds that he will cut their special program had better realize that we all have our hands in the cookie jar.  If somebody doesn't step in and stop all of the outrageous spending on foreign wars and padding to the wealthy, then there won't BE a cookie jar anymore!  This is why the young people are so strongly in favor of Dr. Paul.  They're concerned that the cookie jar, and not just the cookie, is crumbling before their very eyes.  How long can we keep on spending so outrageously?

I vote for Ron Paul and I urge you to do so as well!  I am going this way because of his self-restraint and his loyalty to the great republic that we all inherited and are trying to pass on to our children and grandchildren.  After all, nobody is perfect!

Changes

Did you ever notice that making changes in our lives is hard?  DA--I can hear some of you thinking, but we really truly do NOT naturally enjoy making changes in our lives.  I just remembered an article that I read in my massage therapists office 24 years ago, when my marriage was on the fritz and the first farm that we had invested in was near bankruptcy.

This article stated that a mentally healthy individual will welcome changes in their life--actually SEEK THEM OUT!  I thought this guy was insane as I was sure that everyone else in my life was to blame for my misery and I was nothing but a victim with no personal power to change anything.  The truth is, because I thought that way about myself, I truly WAS powerless.  I praise God that HE intervened in my life in a big way and helped me begin the life of personal growth that has shaped the woman that I am today.

So what all has changed for me over the past 24 years, you may be wondering.  I truly haven't thought about it until this moment so I will begin the list and perhaps add to it later.  You can analyze, along with me, if the changes that I've made were truly good--meaning better than if I hadn't made the changes

1.  I own my own farm instead of working for my father-in-law for $300 a month milking 160 cows.

2.  I have 3 children instead of only 1.  Plus I have 17 waiting for me in Heaven.

3.  I am a home school mother.  This thinking would never have happened if I hadn't left the town where I was so abused.

4.  I have my own health care business instead of running to the doctors and being sick all the time.

5.  I now write my thoughts here for the whole world to read instead of keeping everything locked up inside of me until I feel like I will explode.

6.  I cook with natural healthy foods instead of buying everything from the grocery store.  I use the meat from our farm; the milk from sweet Sally and/or the goats; the vegetables from our garden; and we make bread from our organic wheat that we grew here at SEEDS OF HONOR.

7.  My children are disciplined workers of the soil instead of spoiled brats like we noticed when we lived in the city.

8.  WE DON'T OWN A TV!!!!!!!!!!!

9.  My joys are found here at home instead of running to meetings; endless church activities; and countless singing engagements.  I truly did enjoy those things then but I see now that I was using them to escape the pain inside of me.

10.  I start and end every day with cortices in addition to my prayers.

11.  I no longer hate potato salad.  I always wondered why I hated it but during one of my sessions I remembered making potato salad just hours before a molestation.  Now I enjoy it IF I make it myself and I am more open to other people's than I have ever been before.

12.  I no longer sleep with my rifle if Robert stays overnight with the truck somewhere.  Don't get me wrong, it's still within several feet of where I'm sleeping, but it doesn't have to be right on the bed with me.  One thing that hasn't changed is my strong desire for EVERY law abiding citizen to own one AND to know what to do with it if they are ever attacked.

13.  I now own a whirlpool which is, next to God and BodyTalk, my best friend when I have too much stress pain in my neck and shoulders.  In fact, I'm going there now.  Yesterday was quite a stressful day with Jacob buying a pickup; Robert NOT buying one; and Andrew in Fargo helping to gain Dr. Ron Paul delegates in the NINE district conventions all taking place at the same time.

14.  I survived a deadly illness.  Instead of dreading illnesses, like I used to, I ward them off before they get out of hand with the skills that God has given me.  There's something wonderful about being able to say that the thing you most dreaded is in the past!

One thing that hasn't changed is my love for God who has sustained me through it all.  I'm talking about the God of the Bible; the creator of Heaven and Earth; the one who sees every sparrow fall; and the one who loves even me.  Well, I guess, if I think a little deeper here, I can see that, YES, even this has changed.  MY LOVE FOR GOD HAS GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN EVEN LARGER!!

Happy Sabbath to all,

Dawn

PS.  I did think of a #15 after all--I got a PASSPORT and have actually flown on an airplane all by
myself internationally!  Here I am in Winnipeg at a BodyTalk class on Kintyre Street which is the name of the little village I can see from my window.  So you see, all things are possible to those who believe IF they are willing to make changes--but then, why not?

IT'S SUMMER!!!

Hi everyone,   My calandar says that tomorrow it is SUMMER!!!  How can that be?     I must admit that this Spring has gone way too fast an...
