Not wasted time

Andrew is back and I am so happy.  We had our typical head banging last night as we have often rubbed each other the wrong way.  We were both tired, though, and this morning things went much better as we started to get used to being together again.

I think the main trouble is that Andrew is STRONGLY left brained and I am STRONGLY right brained.  I'm sure that's why God put us together under the same roof--so that we can cover each other's weaknesses.  It doesn't always work out that way, though, as I'm sure is true in your household too.

This morning Andrew and I talked about money and he said that he refused the $50 a day that Jared offered him.  He said that he also refused to take anything for his expenses as Jared is down quite a bit himself.  If anyone feels led to help pay Jared for his professional services, I'm sure that they'd still take donations at: southdakotaforliberty.org.

The thing that we need to remember is that God has a reason for everything.  Just think of the friendships that have been formed by fellow Ron Paul supporters across the country.  Still, I was a little discouraged about the email that Ron Paul wrote to me last night stating that he now knows that he won't get the nomination with the current loses.  Still, he said, much has been done to wake up the masses.

Then I watched this video and I shook myself free from the doll drums.  My goodness, look at how the people listen to Ron Paul.  Look how many people love the freedom message!!!  Look how many people came out to show support for conservative values; for bringing home the troops; for cutting government spending and getting them out of our lives.  Just LOOK at the people!

Freedom anyone?

How much are we going to take before we say, "Down with tyranny?"

Please help by praying for the Ron Paul campaign.

Please help by donating either to the main Ron Paul campaign or the one that my son is working in.  This is a grass-roots effort in South Dakota to get Ron Paul elected as President of the United States.  Here's the link to donate: http://www.southdakotaforliberty.com/

Lastly,  PLEASE volunteer your time to call folks or go door to door if you live in the Sioux Falls area.  If you know of anyone in the Sioux Falls area, you can help by sending them to the site.

We ALL have to work together to stop this power grab by Big Brother.  Oh yes, if you haven't read George Orwell's, "1987", that's another thing that you can do to help your country.  I read it in High School and it has motivated me to speak the truth in love ever since.  We MUST speak out against tyranny while WE THE PEOPLE still can!!!!!!!!!!!

Go, Andrew, go!  Go, everyone, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  STOP THE TYRANNY!

Another great group

Hi again,
I just found this site of conservatives working in Washington, DC for us.  Here's the link to the page which shows how conservative North Dakota's legislators are doing.  I think that we can do better than this.  http://heritageactionscorecard.com/scorecard/index.html#nd#state#North Dakota

The whole site looks like it's filled with good info and is found simply by googling:heritageaction.com.  I decided to have them send me their emails for awhile before I go any further with them but I'm excited to have found them.  Can there be too many conservative groups out there?  Now, the trick is to get them to work together.

Need Patriots

Happy Sabbath everyone,

What can I say?  The more that I get to know about Ron Paul, the more that I love him.  Yes, I actually love this man who has stood in the gap for freedom for so long.  Do I love him because he promises me "Free" government money?  NO, I love him because he does what is right no matter what ANYBODY says against him.  Can "Your guy" say this?

You may not realize it, but this month is a very critical month for our nation.  As the district conventions are being held all around the state, people will either vote for the same old-same old, or for Ron Paul who definitely will change things for the better if he is our next President.

I just found a site that has some pretty awesome songs about this unsung hero.  Being the press is so anti-Christ, WE THE PEOPLE must help to get the word out that we have a real live hero running for the President of the United States of America.  PLEASE take a moment to listen to this song and see if you can hear the love pouring forth from the singer.

Please pray for the campaign, if that's all that you can do.  However, if you have time to make a few phone calls to help us find the Ron Paul supporters in your area, that would be so awesome!  If so, let us know and Andrew will get you started calling as he is the head of the campaign for our district.

To freedom!

"A day to honor freedom" giveaway

I know that many people are spending time honoring our veterans today.  This is such an important thing to do seeing as these folks have placed their lives in danger so that we can continue enjoying our freedoms, and way of life, here in this great country.  May God bless each service person who is doing so today and may He bring them safely back to their families ASAP!

I am also thankful today for another type of freedom.  For now anyway, we are still free to express ourselves through our blogs.  I know that there are people tucked away in secret who are reading and listening to all that we do and say.  GOOD!  That means that every time they come to a believer's blog, they can hear the truth that God loves them and sent His son to die on the cross for them.  Even government spies are loved by God, although it seems hard to imagine at times.

This is a special day for me as it is my third blogiversary.  It hardly seems possible that 3 years ago, as I made supper for my family, Andrew set up this blog for me so that I could "Speak my mind" when I could no longer hold in my thoughts.  I can recall him saying, "You need to start a blog, Mom.  When you have something to say, you need to say it so that everyone can hear it."  So I did and, yes, I know that this is NOT a complete sentence, but sometimes fragments can say a lot.

Yesterday I worked with a new client who is a fellow BodyTalker.  As she paid for her session, I handed her one of my cards and said, "I have a blog where I write about my life and this is the address."

She got a big smile on her face and said, "I know, I've been to your blog."

That's all that she said but it gave me a warm feeling to know that there truly are people out there who are reading what I write and getting some measure of blessing out of it.  It was the smile that I tucked into my heart to pull out when gloom sets in.

Now, those of you who have been with me since the beginning of A RAY OF HOPE, may recall that I said, "I will give this thing a whirl and, if there seems to be someone actually reading this, then I will continue."  So I will.

In honor of 3 years of sharing here, then, I will again give away one free BodyTalk session.  If you are interested in winning this session, just leave a comment here sometime in the next week.  I'll pick the winner on the 19th and let you know who it is then.  Keep in mind, that I've had the training to do remote sessions so you do not need to be able to come to my office for the session.
Well, tomorrow we are having the boy's birthday party here.  Jacob turned 16 last Sabbath and
Andrew is turning 21 tomorrow.  The party will be much smaller than in years past but we will celebrate with as much gusto as usual--perhaps more.

God has been faithful to help us raise our sons for Him.  At times like this, I think of our many children who are living with God now.  I wonder how old they'd be and what their names are and if they ever think of their mother who misses them still.  It is good to know that they are happy living with the King over there!

Oh my, how I ramble sometimes.  Drop me a note if you want to qualify for the free session in honor of  my 3 years of blogging.  That's the gist of it.  Cora and Jacob both said this morning, "I'm sure that Kimberly will try to win it, Mom!"  I wonder who else will have me put their name in the hat............

Happy Sabbath to everyone.  If you're in our part of the world tomorrow, feel free to drop in for a piece of birthday cake.

A happy mother,

Dawn
