I'm a FOUR!!!!

My precious daughter-in-law, Marie, has been sharing with me about Carol Tuttle for over a year.  Because of all the stress from the abuse I suffered as I child, I've been doing well just to keep living and serving my family.  I didn't really care about how I looked!!

When you're home schooling your children; caring for small animals; producing much of our own food; and dealing with health challenges it doesn't really matter how you look.  What matters is that you get things done!!!  People are hungry and tired and need to be taught.  When is there any time left for me?

There wasn't any time just for me because I never took any.  I didn't feed my soul while I was feeding my family.  I didn't know to focus on my needs as that had never been modeled for me by my mother.  I just gave and gave and gave until I gave out at the ripe old age of 48.

Now my health challenges have progressed to include MS which is a constant struggle of pain management.  I'm happy if I can get the basics of cooking and cleaning done plus taking care of a few clients every week. So, when Marie said that it mattered that I found out what type I am, I thought "I already know my type." 

You see, I've studied different types of typing systems (pun not intended) and didn't need another one.  According to one system I'm a "Golden Retriever" rescuing everybody.  I'm also a "Summer" when it comes to color analysis.  Another one said that I am a "Melancholy" which tends towards depression if everything isn't perfect.  Andrew said that I was something with letters and numbers in a 16 type system. How can I be something else too?

 Marie kept encouraging me to figure out my type in Carol's system.  She said that Carol says we're stronger when we dress our truth--now THAT caught my attention.  What does it mean to dress my truth?

So I delved in.  Marie and I were pretty sure that I was a type 1 who is very outgoing and fun-loving and I'm sure that is my secondary energy type.  LET'S HAVE A PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!

I started watching different videos that Carol put together to help people figure out their energy type.  I listened to Marie share how happy she is now that she wears the clothing that has the same energy she has.  HMMM

Andrew kept saying that I'm a 4.  I DIDN'T WANT TO BE A 4!  In fact, as I watched these videos, the only woman who really bugged me was the 4 woman.  So I kept praying for wisdom and peace.  I prayed like this, "Why does it matter that I know what I am according to Carol Tuttle?" 

There was no peace.  I'm a 1.  Go on!!  So I bought myself a cute little ladie's cap for Summer and looked at it often and wore it occasionally and thought I was off to a good start.  It just kept bugging me, though.  Something wasn't right.  It didn't feel right and it brought me NO peace.

Yesterday morning I was sick and tired of it.  I sat myself down and said, "Why don't you want to be a 4?"  No response.  Then it came to me what to do.  "I'll do Emotional Freedom Technique on this."  So I set up the opening phrase, "Even though I do NOT WANT TO BE A FOUR, I love and accept myself." 

As I tapped, the tension began to leave and I tapped until it was gone.  Then I took the color charts from Carol's style kit and read the descriptions of the 1 and the 4 clothing types.  I started to feel a little more comfortable with the 4 colors.  I read the descriptions; looked at the colors; and prayed to know the truth.

Then I went back and forth between the 4 and the 1 color sheets praying for peace.  I opened up my mind to the fact that I am a 4 (which Andrew has said all along) and I felt peace seeping into me and I started to feel happier.

Back and forth I looked at the 4 colors and the 1 colors praying to know my truth.  Little by little the 4 colors brought me joy and excitement.  When I looked at the 1 colors, I noticed how drab they looked.  They pulled my energy down.  They actually made me weary.

Then I remembered the day that I buried my father.  I wore my black funeral dress (4s are the only ones who look good in black) and my brother said that I looked gorgeous.  NOBODY EVER TOLD ME THAT I LOOKED GORGEOUS BEFORE!!!  When I wore the 4 colors, because I was grieving the death of my father, I looked gorgeous and I felt much more confident than I had anticipated feeling that day.

Right now I'm feeling like I have found a great treasure and I want to share it with the world.  Now I know how Marie has been feeling wanting to share it with me so I share it with you.

Carol has lots of videos on YouTube to help you determine your type.  I really liked this one as it helped to hear all of the types discuss what was comfortable for them in clothing.  I will add this caution, though.  If you're not seeing yourself in any of these, it's possible that you're a 1 as 1s have trouble deciding things OR you may be blocking knowing your type for some reason as I was. 

This is a journey that may take awhile to figure out your type.  However, when you do, it will be worth it.  Enjoy the video.

Are you washed?

OK this may seem far out for some of you but our words have power!! The hymns, in particular, have power to encourage us and drive out doubts.

 

Well, my washing machine has been a pain for about a year.  Sometimes it will start and sometimes it won't.  Andrew checked it out and said that there's some kind of short in the electrical panel but it wasn't until after the warranty had expired.  He then showed me how and where to apply pressure to correct the problem and it's been working for a couple of years.

 

Steadily this has become a more consistent problem, though, and I'm held up more and more from my work of helping others to heal.  Finally I prayed and asked the Father if there was something that I could do about this regular annoyance in my life. 

 

The Father showed me this morning that the enemy has been using my washing machine to bring me despair and discouragement.  I have so much laundry with the guys working in the fields nowadays. 

After praying about this, through a friend I was led to this hymn and told to print it off and tape the page to my washing machine.  It will be a reminder to me that God rules over all the enemy's plans to cause disruption in my life.

 

So as my printer was busy, I went into the laundry room to turn on the dryer singing ARE YOU WASHED...   As I sang, I tried to start my washer again and BOOM--it turned right on. 

 

I can hear all the doubters saying, "That's a coincidence."  Is it?  My machine didn't start even when I was applying pressure to the electronic panel which almost always works rather quickly.  Then I sang praises about Jesus blood washing away my sins (when I repent) and it started right up.

Why is that so hard to comprehend?  The priests of Israel sang for 7 days and the walls of an immense city fell to the ground.  Yes, it was a little more complex than that but God responds to our praising Him. 

 

I pray that you will be blessed by this old hymn sung the way I would have sung it in my church choir as a girl.  I pray that your life will flow with the miracles of having Jesus living in your heart.

Innocent until proven guilty??????

Being only 48 years old, that's still only a small percentage of my life, and I'm grateful for all of it! I marvel at the whole journey. I'll never forget three years ago -- almost to the day, on the eve of trial -- I received a call from my federal defender who said the government was offering a last minute "plea deal". They said if I would plead "guilty" to two counts of "felony misbranding" they would drop all other charges. However, they couldn't give me any idea what my sentence would look like or when I would have to begin serving it. I immediately saw two problems with this: The first problem was I couldn't imagine telling a lie just to guarantee a lesser sentence. I knew this was a defining moment. Not only had I not "misbranded" MMS, I certainly hadn't done so with intent to defraud or mislead, and I wasn't about to stand up and swear I had, even if it meant less time in the pokey. What is a little more freedom if I have to live the rest of my life with a lie? The idea of being strong-armed to make the Government's job easier coupled with the tactics used to extort lesser pleas from my friends and family made me all the more resolved. But the biggest problem was my daughter, Sabrielle, who was turning 11 that week -- the week of trial. I had already acquired, as a surprise, backstage tickets to a sold-out show of her favorite artist, Lindsey Stirling. I feared it might be our last Dad/Daughter Date Night in awhile and I couldn't bear to miss it. I subsequently rejected the Government's offer. That weekend, after the prosecutor rested his case, after my federal defender rested without presenting a defense solely "for lack of preparation", after I was refused an opportunity to present my own defense in his stead, after the jury was sent home for the weekend before making its decision, I just put everything out of my mind and took my daughter to dinner and a concert. I'll never forget it. She wore a brand new dress she and her mother had picked out that week for the occasion. It was a shimmering silvery-blue dress with blue sparkles that matched her eyes. I'll never forget how she lit up when she realized who everyone was standing in line to see that night. She had no idea Lindsey was even in town and hadn't bothered to look at the reader board when we parked. We hurried past the line, showed our passes and disappeared backstage where we got our picture taken with Lindsey and sat for a private unplugged session. Lindsey did a Q&A with the few of us there. It was inspiring, but I'll never forget the concert... how Sabby leaned forward on the edge of her seat the whole night, her eyes as wide as saucers, just taking it all in, the whole stage on fire as Lindsey danced across it playing her violin. It was unforgettable pure magic. I don't regret my decision for a minute. Had I "pled guilty" we would not likely have shared this memory and I would've gone to prison anyway in exchange for a lie. This Monday, the 21st of May, Sabby turns 14. I can't wait to see her when I finally walk out the door. She's three years older now and becoming quite the young lady. This week she traveled across the state with her classmates to sit for opening arguments in a case pertaining to charter schools before the Washington State Supreme Court. Daniel How Dad Views Daniel Today Daniel has been in custody for 5 full years. Two (2) years house arrest before his trial and three (3) years in a Federal Prison following his conviction. Thus this caring, compassionate and giving man, whom we all know was innocent and whose purpose in life was to help others, was quarantined by the "Justice" System. But...finally... a change is on the horizon!! Summer 2018 is almost here and there’s a light ahead in the tunnel. The light is not an incoming train ~ it is Freedom! If the Justice System keeps its word ~ my Son is to be released to a halfway house near his home in Spokane ~ sometime in July and shortly thereafter to his family home. This brings great joy, sad memories and colossal needs. Great Joy: I am ecstatic that he will breathe fresh air every day, squeeze his beloved wife and daughter, visit family and friends, and maybe stop at a Starbucks on the way to another concert with his daughter. Sad Memories: I’ve never been a grudge carrier so I can only be disappointed that the Federal Prosecutor wanted to crucify Daniel...sending him to life in prison. Even worse was when Daniel’s attorney stood and said, "Your honor my client is furious but I have decided to not put on a defense." Her honor smiled and said, "Bring in the jury." I’ll never forget how Daniel stood and pled with her to "allow me to present my defense...I have people ready to testify...sitting here." Brusquely she thundered, "Denied." Daniel then requested he be returned to home custody until his appeal (filed that very day) was heard by the 9th Circuit Appelate Court. Her response was even faster: "Denied." So, instead of sending him to home confinement, where he had spent the two (2) prior years, she had deputies immediately remove and cast him into the Courthouse jail. In her lightning hurry she denied each of us from hugging him goodbye. So, unable to even glance our way, he was rushed out of the courtroom ~ having been deprived of true justice and his Constitutional right to defend himself. Five (5) months later, it was disheartening to watch what the Judge did, at his sentencing hearing. I handed her a 5,000-signature petition in which worldwide supporters begged her to not sentence Daniel to prison. She opened the bound petition and read only one comment and then slammed it shut...and immediately sentenced Daniel. Unbelievable! She ignored more than 5,000 supporters. Yes, these memories are very sad to me. Yet I know my Lord used Daniel to help scores of Inmates, kept his heart optimistic...if not even cheerful and employed you supporters to place a canopy of love and care over him. Colossal Needs: Sometime in July when Daniel transitions to Spokane he’ll face a herculean task that most of us would stress over if in his shoes. "I’m a felon now. Who will employ me? How do I earn a living to support my family, finish paying the balance of the large Court fine, walk a strictly straight and narrow path to please the probation officer...for four (4) full years, and somehow help others as they so desperately need someone to do?" Doesn’t it seem to you that for Daniel this will be like starting life all over again? I’ve never overstated the financial help Daniel’s ordeal has required. But with this albatross of obligations ~ help is sorely needed now. After all, he and his family’s needs will continue while he remains in prison. Then when he is released it may take days, weeks and more likely tough months before he can adequately support his family. I firmly believe that we’ll all gather together to support him through this rebuilding time. And for those who can help Daniel at this crucial time... Raised beds superior?

Recently I was observing another family's discussion about the superiority of raised beds.  It sparked my interest in the subject as I've been gardening 50+ years and have never had them as an option. Years ago I did, however, stop gardening like we did when I was child which was to plant a row--leave a space--row--space........  That method produced many paths and they all got compacted by constant Summer trips to the garden. 

 

Several decades back I studied companion planting and started making beds of friends through my garden doing my best to keep them away from their natural enemies.  By planting 3 or 4 rows close together, you limit compaction of so many paths in the garden.  You also get more seeds planted in your space so it's a win-win situation.

 

I wondered today, though, about this concept of spending a lot of money and time on building raised beds.  Is it truly superior as was bragged about in the afore mentioned discussion.  I was curious. 

 

So, as you may imagine, there were LOTS of articles to choose from.  They went from one extreme of "It's the only conceivable way to grow a garden" to "It's not worth the expense or the labor."  What is the truth of the matter?

 

Well, as I speed-read this article, I came to the happy medium.  IF you have terrible soil, then it is probably worth doing raised beds.  If not, then don't bother.  At least that's how I interrupted this article.  Seeing as we have excellent soil here, I can see that I won't be asking Robert to build me raised beds any time soon.

PS  What my dad did for my mom was to build a small frame on the South side of their house out of wood that went over Mom's flower bed.  Then, he put old storm windows on top and fastened them to the wood with hinges.  Mom would close them at night and open them to varying degrees depending on how warm the day was.  We got radishes and lettuces way before anyone else did and it hardly cost anything!!  YAY DAD!!

Raised Beds: Essential or Too Expensive?

The leaves are falling, there may be frosts in your area, but if the soil is still workable this is a great time to start or expand a vegetable garden by creating new beds. If you’ve done an Internet search on the subject, you could be forgiven for thinking that the only modern option is to build raised beds to grow your vegetables in. But are raised beds really necessary?

It’s generally accepted that, for home vegetable gardens, narrow beds up to about 1.2m (4ft) are the best option, as they avoid the need to walk on the soil, which compacts it. The beds can simply be dug directly into the ground, but are often framed with wood, bricks or other materials, raising the soil level above the surface of the surrounding ground.

However, this does involve extra work and potentially considerable expense, so it’s worth asking some key questions about whether you really need to do this before you start.

Is Your Soil Unsuitable For Planting?

Raised beds avoid the need for digging (although don’t underestimate the effort involved in filling the bed!) and disturbing the existing soil structure. Not having to rely on the native soil in your garden can be a lifesaver if the soil you have is very compacted, stony, or contaminated.

In fact, raised beds can even be placed directly onto hard surfaces, so there is an obvious benefit if the only space you have is on a patio.

If your garden soil tends to become saturated easily, lifting vegetables above the level of the soil can help. Raised beds drain freely, which is good in damp climates and on wet soils, but in drier areas you may find that the beds dry out too quickly. This means that raised beds are of limited use on very sandy soils – in this situation, it’s more beneficial to incorporate lots of organic matter into the garden soil to improve its water-holding capacity.

Do Your Plants Need Maximum Warmth Early in the Season?

When growing directly into the ground you’ll find that the soil takes a while to warm up in spring. However, it also takes longer to cool in autumn, which is perfect if you plan to keep harvesting as late in the season as possible.

In raised beds the opposite is true, so they’re good for getting seedlings off to an early start, but the flipside is that autumn and winter crops may need a little extra protection.

Can You Justify the Cost of Raised Beds?

Assuming you already own a spade, digging in-ground beds costs little to do. You may need to buy in some organic matter to improve soil structure and fertility, but raised beds are considerably more expensive.

Imagine you’re planning to build a raised bed just 3m (10ft) long, 1.2m (4ft) wide and 30cm (12in) deep – about the depth required for most root crops. This will require just over a cubic metre of soil to fill it. If you’re making a modest garden with four beds of equal sizes for crop rotation, this would total over 4 cubic metres, so you’d need to order 5 bulk bags (also known as ton bags) of your chosen growing medium to make sure you had enough, which is not going to be cheap!

Even if you’re mixing bought-in compost with cheaper or free sources of manure or compost, and using recycled or free edging materials (or avoiding using edging materials altogether) raised beds are a notably expensive way to make a garden.

Do You Need To Raise the Height of Your Garden?

For gardeners with limited mobility (or those wishing to reduce the potential for backache later in life), raised beds offer a clear benefit. While they are often built as low as 15cm (6in) high, raised beds can be built to any height that is comfortable for you. To reduce costs, you can partially fill the bed with rubble and top up the last 30-45cm (12-18in) with fertile soil.

The level difference provided by raised beds is also useful for making it clear to children and pets which areas are paths, and which must not be walked on – helping to preserve plants and avoid soil compaction - although I do find that my dog needs the added visual deterrent of a fence to stop him from casually wandering in and ‘harvesting’ my vegetables!

It doesn’t have to be a straight choice of one over the other however – if you want to dig the soil to create a flat bed, but put a simple low frame around it to stop the soil spilling onto your paths or lawn (as I did), you can do that. You can even build the frame up over successive years as you add more organic matter and acquire materials for edging, so you end up with a substantial raised bed for minimal outlay.

Raised beds aren’t essential in every garden, but in the right circumstances they can be very useful. However, both raised and in-ground narrow beds have two essential factors in common – avoiding soil compaction and the regular addition of organic matter – so whichever method you choose, growing in narrow beds ensures that your vegetables have the best chance of success.

A trip to Heaven

I've been to Heaven.  On October 2, 2006 I died and I walked along a beautiful pathway to the door of Heaven.  I fell against the door and begged for Him to let me in.  I've never felt such love before in my life as what I felt from the other side of that massive door.

I heard the love-filled voice of my Savior say, "No, you must go back.  Your work is not finished yet." 

Stories like the one in this video are so fascinating for me--they're so real.  They're so comforting.

Heaven is real.  Jesus is real and His love is real!!  I pray that everyone reading this post will know the love that God has for you at a deeper level than ever before.

I pray that my second chance at life will be known for how I shared the love of God with everyone who would listen!!  I pray that everyone with doubts will listen!  I pray that everyone will have ears to hear of the great love that God has for each one of us!!!

Today, I'm surrounded by my children and my grandchildren.  Even my mother-in-law is with us for the weekend. 

 

Today I am happy.

 

I haven't cried so much in all my life as I ponder the possibility of Cora taking her family to MN to enter the dairy industry.  Today I realize that all that I've hoped for can fall apart by the end of this month.

 

Today I am happy and sad.

 

Today I'm thinking of many women who have no family around them at all.  I suppose that's why I searched for a poem about unloved mothers. 

 

I found this one.

 

I'm afraid there's no happy ending--there isn't always one, you know.

 

So I thought to myself, if I share this poem and someone thinks of some lonely mother somewhere and goes and sits with her for even 5 minutes, then I can feel good about taking the time to share this poem on Mother's Day.

The term "psychology" comes from the Greek words "psyche" (soul) and "logos" (the study of). Thus, psychology means "the study of the soul."

As such, I have no problems with any treatments that involve the use of the subconscious mind (in the form of EFT, BSFF, hypnotherapy, medicine, chiropractic and many other practices that are dedicated to helping people).

When ethical, experienced, conscientious and skilled professionals who are working in their areas of expertise apply any method, God can and does use them "for good to those that are the called, according to His purpose."

Energy psychology therapies are a gift from, and are being used by, our God.

EFT and BSFF are wonderful gifts to all of us from our Lord. They are very helpful adjuncts to any professional practice in the physical health or mental health fields.

They can also remove subconscious blocks to "fervent and effectual prayer," to knowing God, hearing from and obeying God, and being fully available to God. These blocks, I believe, are programmed into us from birth by "the prince of the power of the air" (Satan) who holds sway over our cultures and our world.

We, as Christians, are commanded by Christ to "take back the land" that the enemy has stolen from us, and to "occupy until He comes."

This includes removing the strongholds and bondages that the enemy has set up in our conscious and subconscious minds, our emotions, our bodies, and our spirits. That is what Energy Psychology therapies helps us to do, and what it teaches people to do for themselves.

EFT and BSFF does not make anyone do anything new or different. It simply sets them free to have a true choice about things that previously have been operating on "automatic pilot" under the control of their subconscious mind. In other words, they are freer to hear from and to follow God's leading in their life.

Sadly, the stigma of stage show hypnosis, humanistic psychology, and much misinformation about the human subconscious mind seems to taint everything about the psyche in the minds of many people (including many of my fellow Christians).

This unfortunate misinformation creates undue fears and suspicions of some methods being used by truly dedicated and qualified professional counselors, hypnotherapists and other professionals who are committed to providing help for hurting humans.

Just as with medicine and many other helping professions, God uses even the unsaved to help Christians. So, If we keep ourselves under His covering and pray for His wisdom and guidance, and for discernment, we can make good choices about from whom we accept help.

Also, we need to use our authority over the works of the devil to keep him at bay in all of these things, and to effectively resist his efforts to deceive and entrap us.

Again, "all good things come from God," but anything can be used for good or evil. It really is up to us to be wise about whom we choose for help in any area of life.

Satan uses fear to thwart God's plans for His people.

My heart aches because fears about psychology, counseling, and so many wonderful tools are kept from people by our subconscious programming to be afraid of them.

This stops people from getting excellent help with a number of effective treatment methods, including EFT, BSFF, chiropractic, acupuncture, hypnosis and many excellent tools that have been brought forth by God to help mankind BE SET FREE.

This serves Satan's purpose very well. It keeps people in fearful bondage, where he can manipulate them to undermine God's plan and His work in their lives. Some of Satan's chief ways to control us are the manipulation of fear, shame and guilt. EFT and BSFF eliminate these destructive and limiting feelings quite easily.

Remember, the Word says, "We are not given the spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound, well-ordered, and disciplined mind."

We do not operate that way very much (free of fear) because we have been subconsciously programmed to be fearful about many, many things. This prevents us from learning and growing, psychologically and spiritually, and living life abundantly, as God intended.

Such fears, often held subconsciously, provide the mechanisms for the devil to manipulate us without our consciously realizing it. That is, he operates in the dark, and our subconscious is a huge area of darkness in our minds.

That is why it is called the subconscious, or unconscious. We simply do not know what is in there most of the time. But, the devil does know, since he had everything to do with programming it in us. He began this process almost from our birth -- before we had any awareness that this was happening within us.

The devil wants to keep it that way, so that he can operate with impunity, under cover of that darkness. He can confuse us, stir up self-doubt and doubt about God, and scare us into not looking into this darkness, rather than bringing everything into the light.

In this way he can stop us from doing anything about this darkness. Then he is free to manipulate us to serve his desires and not God's

God says "The children of the light run to the light." But the children of darkness prefer to stay in the dark. The Holy Spirit in us is always trying to bring us out into the light where we can be free in Christ.

"For he who is free in Christ is free indeed!" Our Lord gave His life in the most horrible way imaginable to "set the captives free." He gave all Christians, including those of us in the healing arts that mandate as well.

We are to help people to be set free. That is specifically what EFT and BSFF are designed to help people accomplish. EFT and BSFF do not make people do anything new. It sets them free to have a truly flexible choice-in contrast to being controlled by subconscious programming from the past.

"Taking captivity captive" with Jesus.

That's it, my precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. We are those captives. Not because we chose to be. This programming started in the early months of our lives. We couldn't know what was being implanted into our subconscious minds.

But, as adults it is our task to "take back the land" that the devil has usurped (stolen) from us. With God's direction and empowerment, and with the help of Godly counselors, we have everything we need to "occupy until He comes."

Our primary task in life is to get ourselves out of God's way, to yield everything to Him. Then He can do more and more of what He wants to do for us and through us. As we get more and more free, He will take us "from Glory to Glory" on this amazing journey with Him.

We are in bondage to far more than we consciously realize. God wants us all to be totally free in Christ. I am dedicating my life to helping people in this task -- at the psychological (soul) level and at the spiritual level.

God is spreading these methods worldwide. I encourage and entreat you to avail yourself of this help in becoming more and more free.

Kindly read the excellent article on "The Hidden Chambers" by Nancy Missler, to see how extensively the Bible acknowledges the subconscious as a very important part of we human beings.

There is much we need to know about this amazing mental apparatus that God gave to each one of us. With EFT and BSFF we now have wonderful tools to help us clear out much earlier programming (darkness) that is blocking God in our lives.

We need to understand how God uses our mind, both the conscious and the subconscious mind. Equally important is learning to recognize how

Satan uses it against us and against God, and how we can take effective authority over our enemy and "occupy the land" that God gave us.

If we are to become the Christian "overcomers" that we are given the opportunity to be; and the "more than conquerors" that God intends us to be, in Christ, then we need excellent help to BE SET FREE.

God uses both Christians and non-Christians to help us in the mental health field, as well as throughout every area of human experience and need.

God has revealed the methods of BSFF to me over the past eleven years. He continues to guide me in spreading this amazing tool worldwide. This is His work, and I am so blessed to be doing it under His guidance.

I encourage everyone to avail themselves of these marvelous counseling and treatment tools. God made us such that we can benefit enormously from these new understandings (from Him) of how to receive elegant help with the bondages, problems and disturbances of our lives.

He has chosen to reveal these things to us at this time. This is a fantastic advance in helping we captives to BE SET FREE. What a wonderful gift! What a wonderful Savior!

There is so much new freedom and "newness of life" that God wants you to have through using these methods. I hope that you will reach for that help. God bless you as He unfolds His wonderful plan for your life. May you walk in that path victoriously.

At the end of each counseling session with all of my Christian clients, I ask them to say the prayer of confession and repentance in this paper. The prayer focuses on the sinful attitudes and actions that were involved in each of the problems that were treated with BSFF in the session, and it invites the Lord to occupy these places and be the Lord of them instead of the client. I always encourage Christians to use this prayer every time they do any BSFF treatments on their own or in my office.

How I wish I could do this with everyone-those non-Christians, too. But, of course they cannot pray to God in the Name Jesus and be forgiven. But, I can help them to get freer and freer, and pray that this will enable them to make contact with God so that they will join us in the body of Christ.

PPS: I have long been convinced that our biggest task in life is to get ourselves out of God's way, so that He can do the work that He wants to do in us, and through us all. BE SET FREE FAST is an elegant tool from Him to help accomplish that enormous task. BSFF helps to "set the captives free!" Then God can work His Divine Plan in our lives; and, then we can truly receive the blessings that He has for each one of us.

Enough of this gloom.  Winter is over and Spring is really here.  Not the early Spring of snowbanks disappearing and mud appearing everywhere.  No--this is SPRING--plant in the garden Spring!  YAY

 

It's amazing how every gardening year is different!  The garden is different every year because I plant things in different places than they were last year.  It's also different because I'm different. 

 

 This year I'm a grandma at gardening season.  This year I'm not wondering how Cora and Marie are feeling during their pregnancies.  This year, I'm wondering how they will plant with Elsie and Timothy in their lives.  How much will they need me to help them in their gardens? 

 

What shall I plant?  That's the one constant in gardening.  The seed catalogs have arrived for months and they're filled with pictures of gorgeous photos of flowers, vegetables, and fruit.  Everything looks so tempting to try.  The descriptions of each type of green bean is AMAZING!!!

This year I have a new challenge.  Being we got our walkway in place, now I need to fill our little park up front with wonderful things.  Should I plant shrubbery?  Where will the fire pit go?  Do we want a picnic table in that area?  I know I want Robert's  birdhouse up there but where?  Is it really possible for us to design our own miniature waterfall out of rocks from our farm????????????

 

I decided to try to find a gardener's poem and, boy, are there ever a bunch of those.  I like this one as I really feel the garden calling me in the morning.  "Dawn, get out of bed and come and eat some peas," or "You better get out here as the potatoes are blooming!"  OH IT'S GLORIOUS!!

 

Happy Spring everyone.  I hope you'll all grow something this year.  God first put man in a garden for a reason.  He knew that it's healthy for mankind to take care of something and watch it grow.  Finally, after all of my labors, there is the food ready to eat--food that I grew myself!!!  There's no food like it in the whole wide world!!

NO HOPE?

It's a really hard time right now as one of our children has made it known that they are thinking of leaving our part of the world; our farm; and our grain cleaning business.  All of their growing up years, we prayed and we sacrificed so that we would be able to have them near us all of our days on Earth. 

 

We lost so many children through miscarriage.  Seventeen of our twenty children are living in Heaven already.  Must we loose from our daily lives one of the only three we have left--our child and our grandchild too?  Can this be God's will or a plot of the enemy?

 

I can't stop crying these days.  As you might imagine, this hasn't done anything good for my physical health either.  The only real relief I have is through prayer and the use of my BETAR table.  I was just on it now when this song played.   Somehow it is a comfort to know that God wants good to come out of this awful time too.

 

I pray that this song blesses someone out there whose heart is nigh unto breaking.
