My incredible blessings

Hi everyone,
Being I find myself alone this afternoon, I decided to post a nice, long narrative of the things that I'm most thankful for.  Cora has been doing this every day this month, which is a lovely thought, but it's been impossible for me to accomplish.
I'm starting with Thanksgiving day which began very early for me.  Cora had to work in the afternoon which meant that the 15 pound turkey had to be tender by noon.  I am humbled to admit that I used Stove Top Stuffing as Robert and I had made a late trip to Bismarck the night before to pick up building materials for the shop.
When we had entered Dans, I said to Robert, "I'm not even sure if we have any bread at home to make stuffing with."  Being I don't eat bread any more, I don't pay that much attention to it nowadays.  "Better buy some Stove Top Stuffing," he had said, so I did.
It smelled wonderful as I forked through it after the 5 minutes of it setting in the boiling buttered water.  I stuffed the turkey in the usual places; buttered the breast with salt and pepper added; protected the wings and thighs with tin foil; and slid the whole mass into the oven by 6:30 AM.
Being I was pretty sore from so many sessions last week, I took a wonderful soak in the whirlpool as the rest of the family woke up.  Then Cora and I got to work in the kitchen and did we ever have fun!
The staff at the nursing home always has potlucks on holidays and Cora had decided to make a Thanksgiving table cake as her contribution to the day.  You can see her turkey here and, if you look closely, you can see that she stuffed hers too--wonder if it was Stove Top Stuffing too!  You can see a picture of the completed cake over at her blog.  The next day she shared all of the wonderful responses to her cake with the cutest one being, "I ate 2 plates."
Here is a picture of my darling daughter with the cake in the foreground.  She made a lovely table runner too.
I'm not much good at cake decorating but, when I saw that Cora had a little bit of red fondant left, I said, "Why not make a big heart out of it."  Cora took my suggestion and, when I saw that there was a small bit of green fondant left, I made a great big B out of it and put it on top of the heart.  Four Bornemanns shared the fondant treat at lunchtime but I passed as I am trying to minimize sugar too.
When I was out at chores that morning, I took a few pictures of things that I'm thankful for.  Here are our 2 dogs, Millie and Lady.  After goats, I'd have to say that dogs are my favorite animals.
Jacob said, "What are you taking a picture of, Mom?"  "The alfalfa," I answered.  Being our small grain crops were poor, we especially appreciate all of the wonderful alfalfa the Lord blessed us with this year.  Further, he's opened up doors for our hay to go to Texas and to Oklahoma, so now we have the money to work on our shop!  PRAISE THE LORD!
I think everyone has posted about the shop project.  We've been wanting to do this ever since we moved here 8 years ago.  However, funds are always tight, but it's also a big chunk of work.  Now that Andrew is into buying cars that need work; repairing them; and then reselling them, he has a need for a warm shop too, hence the work is going forward with gusto.
Thanksgiving afternoon, Jacob and I painted the side of the wall which will be heated while Robert and Andrew finished putting the chipboard on the other side of the wall.  There will be cold storage on the other side of this wall now but this will leave plenty of room to get a tractor and some smaller vehicles in here to work on.  It will be nice to have the feeding tractor in a heated area this Winter too.
Those are the only pictures that I have from Thanksgiving Day, but when I looked through the November pictures on my computer, I found these to share with you.

Have you been to Scheels in Bismarck lately?  If so, it would be impossible to miss the tribute that they have made to freedom.  Jacob and I were so impressed as there were these life-sized statues of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ronald Reagan.
You know how the ACLU is saying that we can't have the 10 Commandments etc on public property?
Well, this just goes to show that human ingenuity CAN win over bullheadedness.  Jacob and I were so thrilled as we read on the placards beside our former presidents various of their quotes.  There were statements like, "A nation without God is doomed for failure,"  "We need the Bible to guide us so that we can please our God who formed this great nation....................
I was so thrilled to see God honored in this way, that I asked Jacob to take my picture beside this statue of one of the greatest minds to ever live.  Long have I admired Thomas Jefferson--don't we look good together?
Now we're jumping to Fargo where Andrew and I attended the delegates training workshop.  Here we met Robert Brown who is the branch supervisor over our area in the John Birch Society.  Mr. Brown did a wonderful workshop on economics and he honored Andrew with a picture.
You must imagine our surprise, when we looked up towards the end of the day, to see Dr. Ron Paul in the room with us.  I shook his hand, as did everyone else within reach.  When he permitted pictures to be taken with him, Andrew didn't wast much time taking his turn.  As I snapped this picture, I remembered the Dick Van Dyke episode where Rob's uncle had his picture taken with Abe Lincoln before Abe was our President.  HMMMMMMMMMMM.
Later we went to the Fargo Civic Center and heard Dr. Paul speak about his views of how to save our country.  He painted a glum picture, to be sure, but with God's help I know that we CAN turn this country around again.  This was such a special day spent with Andrew!
We were so happy to see some "Old" friend there too.  This is
Tim and Louisa Stegman and below is Tim's brother, Andrew
with his little cutie, Carrie.

I'm not sure why my computer is being stubborn and won't let me move my pictures back in order but that's how it is sometimes.

I'm very thankful for these young people who are serving the Lord and are building their homes upon the principles of God's word.  I'm also thankful that my children plan to do the same when their time comes.  As you can see in the picture below, my Andrew is celebrating his 21st birthday by going bar hopping.  He laid out a bunch of bars on the ground; asked Cora to come out and take his picture; and then proceeded to jump over the bars.   He came into the house laughing and said, "I've always wanted to go bar hopping and now I have."
Praise the Lord for helping us to raise 3 people in the next generation who will not waste their money, and their health, on alcohol!
 Here's another one.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future," Jeremiah 29:11.  Praise God that He is leading our lives and he's guiding us to raise our children to receive the blessing of God in their lives.
As I looked through some more pictures from the year, my mind was opened to see other blessings that I am thankful for.  I dearly love acting in Godly plays and it gives me joy that my children have picked this up from their mother.  I'm sure that you all remember Barney from the Andy Griffeth show.  Well, we have our very own Barney now.  :)
I'm also thankful for the Appleseed Project which is helping folks all around the country learn how to shoot and defend themselves if need be.
I'm very thankful to know how to operate a radionics instrument.  I'm also thrilled to know those who make them AND teach others how to use them!
I'm thankful for the annual Prairie Days celebration at the Dagley farm and the friends that we meet there.
I'm thankful to be an organic farmer/rancher and that the cattle are home for the Winter.  It always feels so much more homey when they are nearby.
I'm thankful for a husband who can build anything.  We were just talking about the huge number of building projects that he's taken up in our 31 years of marriage.  Here he is on top of the Quonset on Friday afternoon cutting the hole for the stovepipe.
Here are my 2 sons holding the ladder for their papa.  If ever 2 sons were opposites, it's these 2, but I love them both with all my heart!  Andrew, so assertive and brave, and Jacob, with such quiet strength, how proud of them I am!  How happy I am that they are brothers and that they can help each other through life--each one strong where the other is weak.  Isn't that like the Lord--putting us together in families so that we can learn from each other and ALL can become better people IF we are willing to let Him change us.
I guess I could talk all day about how much I love my family and how happy I am that we are Christians, Americans, North Dakotans, Organic farmer/ranchers, Sabbath keepers, home schoolers, Birchers, energy workers, gun owners, dog lovers, gardeners, car restorers.....  However, somehow it seems most important to say that I am happy that we are lovers.
Over the years, many folks have had supper at our house and left with lighter hearts.  Many have spent the night with us and woke to the sound of our roosters calling, "It's a beautiful morning."  Many more have come for tea and found themselves smiling and laughing and, even sometimes, throwing dinner rolls in a food fight.  My heart grows happiest at the thoughts of those who have come burdened down with cares of this world, and who have left knowing that SOMEBODY cared about them, and knowing that this somebody was our family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As the love chapter says in I Corinthians, all that we do is for nothing if we do not have love.  I'm reminded of the numerous times that we dear friend, Sarah Keister would say, "Your children are so warm, Dawn--indeed, your home is so warm."
Now THAT is what makes me the most thankful of all as I ponder the hatred that I inherited.  Only God could reach into such a war-torn heart, and produce a legacy of happy hearts coming out of my home.  Praises to the King who has healed my wounded heart and placed there instead a heart of compassion for the sick, wounded, and hurting.

Say there, want to come over for tea?
Eternally thankful for God's love in my life,
Dawn

Our first radionics class

I believe that I posted this picture once before but, seeing as this is a post about our radionics class last month, I thought that I'd start at the beginning.  Ed and his office manager, Cathie, sent up all of these boxes for the class.  Some of them were teaching materials; and some were demo materials; and some were the rental machines for the class.
On Sunday, June 26th Jacob and I drove to Bismarck to pick up Ed from the airport.  How wonderful it was to see him again.  We brought him to the farm to meet the rest of the family and to discuss final arrangements for the class.  That evening, Ed took apart some of our instruments and showed our guys the working parts of a wonderful KRT instrument.
Here is our classroom with all of the machines set up.  We had 10 students.  With Ed as the instructor and myself as the instructor in training, there were 12 us in the class.  It was a major thrill for me to have my entire family taking the class from Ed.  It was a wonderful 3 days together!
Did I mention that we held the class at the Kelly Inn?  I thought that was so awesome how the Lord welcomed Ed Kelly to North Dakota by having us hold the class in the hotel with the same name.  I discussed accommodations with Ed after the class and learned that he loved everything there!  The staff was very friendly and helpful; the classroom spacious and well lit; the food was great; and his hotel room was nice too.  Ed said that he would definitely hold his classes there in the future so I was so thankful that he was happy with the arrangements that I had made for our class!
Here is my wonderful family all studying radionics together.  It was so wonderful to have everyone learning the same thing at the same time.  Here Andrew is asking Ed a question.
Our wonderful instructor and new friend, Ed Kelly.  How can we ever thank you, Ed, for coming all the way from Georgia to teach us?  What a great instructor this man is.  He listens to our questions and explains everything so patiently.  I couldn't ask for a finer man to study under.
Our family had lunch with the group at Minervas the first day of class so that we could get to know the other class members a little better but after that we packed our lunches.  What interesting meals these were as we all discussed what we'd been learning and how it can apply to our farm's needs.
Forever a preserver of memories (I think he got this from his mother), here Andrew was catching some shots of class.  How I love this awesome young man with his curious nature!
Right before class ended, one of the members treated us all to this birthday cake in honor of her friend.  That was soooooooo cool!
Here is a photo of most of us in class.  Two of the group members decided that they didn't want to be photographed so they opted out.  Notice how my children cosied up to Ed.
This was taken during one of our snack periods.  I'll say again how wonderful it was having my family all together during these awesome 3 days!
Right after our class had ended and Ed was making his final sales, I headed over to my office to work on a client.  When I was finished, I went back to the Kelly Inn.  The children had headed for home to take care of the farm chores and I found Robert and Ed visiting.  It was so wonderful to watch these 2 men throughout the class time, from way different backgrounds, learn from each other.  Robert gleaned radionics information from Ed and Ed grasped agriculture concepts from Robert.   Both have such marvelous minds that I was happy to see them getting to know each other.

Ed, Robert, and the children had everything boxed up that we'd need to return to GA.  Thankfully there was only about half the number of boxes that needed to be returned as all of the rental machines were sold to those who used them in class--it was GREAT!!!

We were all 3 tired so we sat and visited for a little while about the class.  I was surprised when Ed looked at me and said, "We're partners now."  I stuck out my hand and we shook on it.  Robert said, "I want to get your picture together before we leave."  Here is the result.
Did I mention that Ed offered me the opportunity of becoming a dealer of his incredible KRT instruments?  It's kind of a joke in the family as I am the person who has the least bit of technological knowledge and he makes ME the dealer.  I know that it's because of my being an energy worker but truly I do view my dealership as a family dealership.
I got Robert and Ed's picture then too.
After we took all of the boxes out to our car, we decided to take the time to eat together at Minerva's.  Actually, I was STARVING and the guys said that they were hungry too.  We had a wonderful time discussing plans for future classes over our meal and I took this picture of the information board as a remembrance of our wonderful time together.
All 3 of us were tired then and we still had an hour's drive home.  Ed needed to get some sleep as he had a long flight home the following day.  A part of me has always dreaded departures as the sanguine part of me aches to be with people as much as possible.  When you live in North Dakota on a farm, there really are not that many opportunities to spend time with people, so I treasure times with others.
This was when Ed gave me probably the greatest gift that he ever has.  How I dreaded seeing him leave and the class that I had worked so very hard for to be over.  I could feel the sadness creeping into me as Robert and I moved towards the door and Ed started going towards his room.
I was trying to think of how to say, "Goodbye" to such an incredible person.  This was when Ed turned towards us and said with his big booming voice and his big grin on his face, "See you soon."
I could only smile then as I knew that it would be at least a year until we would see Ed again.  Still, I saw the wisdom of his closure and I gulped out a returning, "See you soon," and left the hotel with Robert.
I wrote to Ed later and thanked him for this wonderful gift.  I meant it, for as I learned from Anne Shirley, true friends are always together in the heart.  THANK YOU, ED, FOR ALL OF THE WAYS THAT YOU BLESSED OUR FAMILY!
God bless all who read my ramblings and who bear with my melancholy times.  I love you all!  Have a great week in the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First day of class

WOW--it's been an exiting but tiring day.  Yesterday Jacob and I drove to Bismarck to pick up our friend, Ed Kelly, at the airport.  We then went to the Kelly Inn to unpack all of those boxes and then drove here with him to show him our organic farm.

We had supper together and then Ed treated us to an inside peek at our machines which his father designed and built and now Ed builds.  Then it was to bed and up super early this morning.  Here he is with our guys around the supper table last night.

Class was great today with 12 in attendance--10 students; one coordinator; and fantastic instructor all the way here from Georgia.  This is the Bornemann side of the room.

This is the other side of the room with several of these being close friends from BodyTalk.

Here is our wonderful friend and instructor on the first day of class.  I have no idea why my blog is NOT putting anything where I want it but you get the idea. Andrew and I came home together.  He's out doing chores now and I am heading for the whirlpool.  I am VERY tired but don't seem to be in as much pain as I have been.  Andrew thought maybe it was all of the great energies in the room today.

I was soooooooooooooo happy to have my whole family there--what an awesome experience.  I remain in need of your prayers as I long to jump into class and be the best coordinator in the world.  I guess I'll have to be happy being the best coordinator that I can be.  Perhaps that is enough?

Love to my special friends out there who pray for me and show me their support even when they're not quite sure where the Lord is leading me.  How I wish that you could all be in this class with Ed and our family--I miss you!

In the arms of the King,

Today is the day!

Today is the day that our special guest is flying in to see us!  I haven't said much here about our radionics class, which will be held Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week, because I've been so busy seeing clients so that I can be available to coordinate the class for Mr. K.
I realize that it IS possible that someone out there has not gotten my emails inviting you to participate in the class.  That is why I decided to copy the email which our instructor sent out recently to everyone who is taking the class.  Feel free to skip this post if you are certain that radionics is not for you at this time.  However, if God is nudging you to join us, feel free to leave a comment to this post and I'll get you into the class (without publishing the comment, of course).  There is still room in the class for YOU.
  Here's to a healthy planet!
  Dawn

Dear Friends,
I am very excited about the opportunity to meet you in Bismark in a couple weeks and wanted to write a note to say hello to everyone, as well as say a few words about radionics and the workshop that Ms. Dawn has worked so tirelessly to organize!
At the core of radionics is the idea that at the most fundamental level everything in the universe is a combination of vibration and energy. This idea is nothing new for most people - in high school chemistry classes we learned that supposedly physical objects are actually composed of tiny atomic particles - neutrons, electrons and protons - that fly in orbits so fast that they seem totally solid to us. It is only the specific arrangement and frequencies of these tiny components that dictate whether we perceive a particular compound as a tabletop or a banana. The radionic instrument is simply a tool that allows the operator to measure and quantify the subtle energy fields emitted by the tiny subatomic particles.
And because these energetic fields have innately harmonious or discordant relationships with one another, the information captured with the instrument allows the operator to make informed decisions about how to maximize the degree of harmony while minimizing the "sour notes" that can make life unnecessarily complicated and difficult. I know all of this sounds very mystical and mysterious to the beginner, but it is actually no different from the farmer who uses an AM radio to tune in to the station that is broadcasting the weather forecast, equipping him or her to make decisions accordingly.
As for the structure of the workshop, I want to impress on everyone that my primary objective as an instructor is to equip everyone with the practical knowledge and information they need to be able to apply the radionic instrument to their daily lives. This will be achieved through a combination of demonstration, discussion, one-on-one support and plenty of hands-on practice that will help you to feel confident about what the instruments do and the many ways you can use them. Inherent in this approach is the promise not to waste your time! This is not one of those workshops where the participants are constantly being fed a sales pitch for other items or products. I believe it is my job to deliver the knowledge that you have already paid for, not spend time convincing you to buy something else.
Finally, if you are "on the fence" about whether or not this technology is right for you, I encourage you to attend one of Ms. Dawn's introductory meetings in the next couple of days so that you can see and try her instruments for yourself - get a preview of just how easy they are to use. I also welcome each of you to visit the KRT website where you may download a FREE copy of our brand new book, Radionics Book 2: Applied Radionics. Here you will see not only the driving principles of radionics as we understand them, but also the specific step-by-step instructions for using every instrument we produce. There are also sections that detail advanced techniques and strategies for using radionics in real life, all with a continuous emphasis on practical application.

KRT

And now, at long last, the post that I have been aching to share with you for over a month. If you are still waiting for the rest of the story on Jacob's and my journey to Georgia, you all win the patience award of the century. I've been swamped with all of my garden produce; putting up apples; building LINKS TO HEALING; and pondering starting school. All of these must be priority over blogging. However, it truly has taken lots of patience to wait until I had time to post about KRT, so perhaps my patience is starting to grow too!

PLEASE--I urge all of you to go to the Kelly Research Technologies website here: (kellyresearchtech.com) and learn a bit about radionics from the people who make the very best radionics machines anywhere. Our days in the classroom (taught by a non-KRT employee) convinced me that the Lord had brought us to the best when he brought us to KRT.

I must say here that this technology has not come to us without cost. Radionics is about 100 years old, but who of you have heard of it before? The reason for the lack of public information about it is that the information has been purposely kept from the people by those who do not want us to be well.

ARE YOU SHOCKED? I didn't think that I was shocked by it until our instructor told us that, about 30 years ago, 5 of his 6 best friends (fellow radionics operators) were KILLED by these people. He, himself, has been shot at 3 times. Once he had his grandson along with him and he took a bullet in his shoulder which, "Made me mad."

For these reasons, I am not posting pictures of our instructor. He specifically asked me not to. However I do have permission to show the following pictures that I took while taking class at the
dome. My children asked me if I am afraid to post my picture like this but I told them, "NO!" Here's the reason why.

To be sure, I haven't had the men in black suits visit my house or shoot at me. However, I know that fear is the poison which kept me in a helpless victim's role most of my life. Fear is what cripples all of us from standing up for the Lord for which He will be ashamed of us some day too.

No, the Lord has called me to be a healer amongst the people's of the earth. He took me safely to the dome and He will keep me safe all the days of my life. If it is His purpose that someone shoot me into eternity, then so be it! At least I will know that I didn't cower in fear instead of sharing the good news of God's healing ways with everyone who will listen. So onward we go, besides nobody has had any problems for 30 years or so. I do pray protection on KRT and our instructor and fellow radionics operators daily and I would covet your prayers for this as well!

This is one-forth of the library in the conference room at the dome. It was the most fascinating library I have ever seen. Interspersed between the books were old radionics machines--ancient relics of the men who risked their lives to bring us this wonderful healing modality.
This is the machine that I worked on during the 3 days of class. We were in class from 9:00 to 11:40 AM; 1:00 to 5:30 PM; and 7:00 to 9:30 PM for 2 days and the third day was the same except that the last night we had a picnic over at the Inn for the family of the secretary/receptionist/answer everybody's question lady. I'm not sure if she would want her picture posted here or not, so I'll hold off on that until I have her permission.
Jacob was up in the office on our last day of class, making arrangements for our flight back home the following day. He looked down from the second story loft and snapped this picture of me. I felt so much better about myself now that I finally had mastered the operation of a radionics machine.

This picture was taken on the last day of class. The owner of KRT gave us all a little lecture on our terminology should we choose to work with the public. He had 3 big words written on the white board when we entered the room. As he spoke, he scratched them all out and explained that we have no desire to use the terminology that the system uses as the 2 concepts are not the least bit similar.
Mr. K said as he scratched out the word TREAT, "We do NOT treat anything with a radionics machine. We BALANCE things with radionics machines."
Then he scractched out the word, DIAGNOSE and said, "We do not diagnose any illnesses with a radionics machine. We ANALYZE where the energy levels are weak."
Then he scratched out the word, CURE and said very firmly, "Lastly we must all remember that nobody in here can cure anything. We use radionics machines to analyze where the energy levels are weak; to balance the levels to the rest of the being; and then they heal on their own."
WOW--I THOUGHT THAT I WAS IN A BODYTALK CLASS!!!!!!!! It made me very happy to see how the 2 modalities ARE compatible!

This is the workroom at KRT. I encourage everyone who just happens to be in GA to look up KRT at the dome. I have never been so overcome with the sensation of being surrounded by genius as I was during those 3 days at the dome. Although we got the tour of the place, I still don't have a clue how a radionics machine works--but then I can say the same thing about my new washing machine.
I'm just so very thankful that this technology HAS been preserved through many difficult years by men with great courage. I can do no less than offer you all the same hope that they offered to their peers. Give radionics a try--you'll never know how much it can help you unless you give it a try. If you would like more information, feel free to leave a comment here and I'll do my best to answer your questions.
Best get to work. I have a BT session tonight and then the group BT session by Eli and much to do in between. I just want you all to know that I AM doing well here. I am balancing myself daily with my new radionics machine and my strength is improving as I deal with things that I don't have the time to tap out through BT. I praise God for this new tool in my toolbox for as my BodyTalk instructor often says, "You need as many tools in your toolbox as you can possibly find. Then you'll be able to help more and more people to get well every year." I'M FOR THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep watching for news here about my new diet. Who knows when I'll find time to write about that but, oh well, I guess I'll share the website now. I just celebrated my one month anniversary on the NEW ME diet and I feel better than I have in years. Here's the link to the site:metaboliceffect.com. I think that you'll find any time spent there worthwhile!
I'm not sharing how many inches that I've lost this past month, as there are just some things that a lady won't share, but I can say that I was shocked how many times I caught myself thinking, "I truly like my body! It is responding to this diet so incredibly." HOW EXCITING!
Blessings,
Dawn

We're home!

Jacob and I are extremely excited about our trip to Kelly Research Technologies this past week! The trouble is that when you are extremely excited for a whole week, and then you spend a day on airplanes or in airports, you get extremely TIRED. I am so amazed that neither one of us felt the least little bit of jet lag when we got down there. Why oh why are we both dragging something awful today then? Could it be that we're both just a little bit down because our trip is over?

I don't have the energy to go through the 499 pictures which came home with us right now. Actually Jacob asked me to do a BT session for him as he needs to be out working on moving hay all afternoon. However, I wanted to share at least one picture from our trip seeing as you have all been waiting patiently.

I actually was NOT patient when Andrew's laptop died on us down there the first night. We couldn't even send pictures home for the family to be able to keep up with our doings. Last night, then, Robert, Cora, and Andrew were eager to sit down and look at all of them with us as we reminisced.

At first I was upset down there that I couldn't blog on things as they happened, but then I came to understand that the Lord really wanted me to focus on spending LOTS of quality time with Jacob. I'm VERY glad now that I did that, as it was a life-changing experience for my son, as I watched him rub shoulders with some of the most brilliant minds that I have ever met.

We spent most of our time at Kelly Research Technologies which is built in the shape of a dome. We sat in class from 9:00 to 11:40; 1:00 to 4:30; and 6:00 to 9:30 on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday was the same except that there was no night class the last day. Here is the link to their website if you are interested in learning about the research that we learned how to do there: http://www.kellyresearchtech.com/

We drove "Home" to where we were staying at, "Tiger Creek Falls Inn" for our meals. Once we learned of the shortcut, it only took us 15 minutes to drive one way. We had stopped at a Sam's Club on the way up to the Inn and put in a stash of supplies which proved ample seeing as Jacob lost his appetite as soon as we got down there. I was a little worried about him not eating much, but his energy didn't wane, so I figured that he was just too excited to eat.

Later I will post some pictures of the Inn; and our flights, but now I need to get back to this mountain of laundry. Still, I just cannot leave you without at least sharing one picture of me enjoying my learning vacation.
Jacob had been wanting me to go down to the foot of this immense hill to see the "Big waterfall" ever since we got to the Inn. I kept putting it off, for one reason or another, until right before we left. I think now that it was so that we could spend our last glorious moments at the Inn in this gorgeous spot.

As usual, I was following him. When Jacob had gotten to this tree, he stopped and looked up at it. All of the trees were incredible around there. I said to Jacob, "Give it a hug," so he did. When I got down to it, I felt a strong impulse to do the same thing but there was no way that I could have gotten my arms all the way around it. I just leaned up against the tree then, with deep affection in my heart, while Jacob snapped this picture of me.
Well, I am hoping that soon I'll have more energy to post LOTS of pictures, but I am drooping today and the laundry is calling. Andrew gets to go away for the weekend. He's heading up to see his friends, the Bartlett family. I promised him that "We" would work on his laundry for him and, now that Cora is at work and the boys are working on hay, "We" has dwindled down to "Me." :) I'd best get to it.

I hope that this short post will help you to see how much Jacob and I loved our trip to Georgia. We learned much that will help our health; the health of our farm; and all who are open to this incredible form of natural healing.

Glad to be home,

Dawn

Airplane tickets

Today was a busy day with trying to make preparations for Jacob's and my trip to Georgia in 2 weeks. We bought the airline tickets and swallowed hard as we realized that the price of the trip went up quite a bit since we first priced it. I have never flown on a major airline in my life, so I'm learning things the hard way. I was just, "Too busy" to deal with it sooner and now it bit me hard. I told Jacob, "You need to pray hard that I get LOTS of sessions before the trip so that we can pay for these airline tickets." He started right then and there.

We are renting an economy car, so our fuel mileage will be good. This helps as we need to drive 2 hours from the airport to the place where the radionics course is being taught. We will be flying into the Hartsfield/Jackson International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

Last night, as we worked on preparing a flat of strawberries for the freezer, Andrew entertained us with this fact that he got off of his I-pod. This airport is the busiest airport in the WORLD--meaning that it has more flights come and go than any other airport ANY WHERE! I smiled sweetly and said, "If God has asked me to go there and drive out of there all by myself, I am certain that He will take care of me while I do it." He chuckled knowing that it's easier to have courage before a situation than when you're right in the middle of it.

Jacob already goggled directions for us from the airport to LakeMont. It is VERY precise reading such as, "Stay in the left lane here," and "Go to such and such street--about one minute. As I read through it I thought, "I CAN DO THIS!" Still, there are moment when it's more like,"Do I HAVE TO GO?????????" :) Oh well, like I said last night, seeing as God wants me to go, I am sure that He will go with me and I am positive that He knows the way even better than Goggle Maps!

That's our big news for today, except that I had a brand-new client come to the house today. The session went great and I was eager to meet this woman as she and her mother-in-law (another client of mine) are starting an equine ministry about 20 minutes from here. I guess working with the horses even helps autistic people recover, so this is VERY intriguing to me. In fact I have seriously been praying about whether or not God wants ME to be one of their clients. Maybe they'll trade their therapy for BodyTalk sessions?

Thinking about horses made me want to see some of these glorious creatures. However, this is the only horse picture that I could find. It's not the best, but at least you can get the picture of how large a horse really is, as that's a buffalo with the three horses.

I used to ride bareback, when I was a girl, and let the horse go where it wanted to go. What did I care just as long as I was on the back of a beautiful horse. I hung on tight to the horse's mane and dreamed that I was riding away from the pain. Only God knows how much those moments helped me get through that dreadful childhood.

Anyway, I have always been drawn to horses and maybe that's because the Lord knew that they can help me in a way that nobody else can. I guess that there has been some very exciting research to prove that this program can help heal deeply on ALL levels. The horses just sense what the person needs and they become a team.

I learned that the people stand in the corral and the horses are released. The horses mill around the people and then go pick out the person who needs them. Do you suppose that's what they call, "Horse sense?" Anyway, I will have to wait until they put another class together to get to participate, but I am eager to see what the Lord has in store for me there. But first it's to Georgia for the radionics course and even before that, it's off to bed.

Sweet dreams to all--especially you fellow horse lovers out there!

Master Cleanse 4 ~ Day 4

I am elated!!!!!!!!!!!!! Robert said, "GO." You see, I have been dreading this awful auction sale ever since mom died over a year ago. I feel your prayers and it's getting better, but it's still starting to get me down. Now our good Lord has given me something else to think about.

I can't recall if I told you about radionics or not, but it's a natural way to kill weeds and insects. As organic farmers, we're seeking constantly for non-chemical ways to solve our problems. Well, we bought a radionics machine a few months ago and have been using it on our farm. It's a little bit like jumping into brain surgery, and we've been trying to get some information on how to use the thing.

Last July we ordered a 12 video course called, "Radionics in Agriculture" from ACRES USA. It is a year now and we still have not received the course although I have been told countless times that it is on back order. Now I'm wondering if the Lord did that so that we would open up our minds to another opportunity to learn about this incredible machine.

To make a long story short, we've been talking here for several weeks about attending the class that the makers of our machine is hosting the first 2 days in August. Well, today I called them (Kelly Research Institute) and asked how full the class is getting. Cathy there said that there are 18 people signed up and they're thinking of stopping at 20, although the teacher is willing to go to 25. Cathy said that this would be crowded, so it was a good thing that I called as soon the class will be full.

Well, when I called Robert on his cell and told him all of these details, he very strongly said, "GO." Jacob and I are so excited as we are the ones who get to make the trip. We spent the morning checking out things like hotel rooms; airline tickets; and rental cars. NEVER IN MY LIFE WOULD I HAVE IMAGINED SUCH A THING--GOING ON A TRIP WITHOUT ROBERT!!!!!!!

Still, the Lord has given me peace that He will work out the details. Here's one example. The people at Kelly suggested that I call the Bed and Breakfast 1 block away from them to find a place to stay. They were booked up. Cathy at Kelly had also suggested a nice place on the river, but that was way out of our budget. The Bed and Breakfast lady gave me the number of another place, which we called, and found that they were booked for a wedding.

I was getting nervous about finding a room when the "Booked for a wedding" place gave me the number of another place. This sweet woman named Gloria, with a gentle Southern drawl, answered the phone and told me that they had openings for the dates we need. She told me that the suite has 2 private bedrooms AND 2 private bathrooms AND a kitchenette. "Oh boy," I thought, "we'll never be able to afford that." When she told me the price, and it was less than one room in the fancy place, I told her that we'll take it for 3 nights.

Here is the link to the website for Tiger Creek Falls Inn, where we'll be staying for 3 days. I just spent a little time visiting Grandpa and Grandma there and I know that you will enjoy seeing their lovely home too! They look like our kind of people: http://www.tigercreekfallsinn.com. Just think-- 3 days staying by a waterfall!!!

Grandma Gloria called me, "Honey" and I felt so at peace, for I could see that the Lord IS going to work all things out for good to those who love Him--US. Now for the airline tickets............ I wish that you could see Jacob--he's just coming to life! This is something that he is VERY good at and now he will get to learn more about the machine which may well be a part of his life's work.

Well, this afternoon everyone is in the hayfield but me. I'm supposed to clean the house; fix a feast; do night chores all by myself--plus I had a client come over this afternoon for a BT session. I suppose that it would be wise for me to get to work then, but I just HAD to tell you about our upcoming trip. As my friend, Linda, used to say constantly, "God is good." Oh, I'm just so excited!!!!!!!

About the Master Cleanse, the pain is less today so I'm sure that the long soak I took yesterday afternoon did me wonders. It will be hard tonight, not to eat the Feast of Sabbath with my family, but then, "All good things are worth sacrificing for."

Happy Sabbath to all of you Sabbath keepers out there.

Hugs,

We passed!

I just got these pictures this morning so I'm adding them at the top of last night's post as it's such a pain to drag them down to the bottom. Anyway, Cora snapped this of me last night while I was cleaning the grill in preparation for the steaks without me knowing it. Note the "New" deck which I just love!!!
Poor Millie. She sat in the patio door and looked at us while we were feasting. Robert felt sorry for her. He cut the meat off of his Porterhouse bone and took her the bone so she could feast with us. It's a dog's life, you know. :)

Well, it's over. In many ways it's the worst day of the year as the inspector comes out and analyzes everything that we are doing here on our farm, SEEDS OF HONOR. If he/she puts too many red marks on her report, we get a letter from our certifying agency, INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION SERVICES, saying that we had better shape up or they'll pull our certification. This has never happened to us.

If that would ever happen to a farmer, he no longer can claim to be a certified organic farmer. This hurts big time as most buyers will not buy your crops unless you have the paperwork proving that you have been inspected by a reputable inspecting firm. So far, we only know of one farmer who didn't pass his inspection and that was because he planted GM corn in one of his fields on his 3rd year. How very sad that made us as he was so close to getting the premiums for his 3 years of transitioning away from chemical use. Instead of working with the agency, he just gave up on organics which made us even more sad. I guess that old saying is true, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink."

Over the years, we've gotten a few "B" report cards but nothing that a little more attention to paperwork won't fix. It was that way today but we also got much praise for the cleanliness of our fields. Liz, the inspector we got today, said that our fields are very clean compared to a lot of organic fields. She praised our heavy use of alfalfa to squeeze out the noxious weeds which plague all farmers to some degree. Yes, chemical farmers have problems with noxious weeds too--just ask them. :)

I really liked Liz and wished that she lived closer. She's from up in the Carrington area. Being we had a 30 mile drive to our fields by Hazelton, I went along to visit with her. Liz understands that all plants (people and animals too) have their own frequency. I mentioned BodyTalk and she thought it was cool as she understands that microbes all have frequencies too and that they can be killed by strengthening the body to fight against their frequency. I told her about Radionics as she has a section of ground that she's in charge of and wants to take care of weeds without toxic chemicals too.

Liz shared with us about bio dynamic farming. She said to goggle it and study what the rest of the world already knows about nurturing the soil naturally. Liz said that in Germany ALL farming is done bio dynamically which builds the soil to produce healthy plants which makes a healthy populace. It's so interesting to learn that God IS working all around the world to bring healing to His people--we just don't hear about it. Thanks, Liz, for broadening our horizons once again. :)

After Liz left, Jacob and I hopped in the van and headed for Napoleon to pick up longer bolts for the swing set. We all know that tomorrow Robert will be back hauling again and we want to "Use" his strength and know-how as much as possible. We also needed some orange and yellow paint for the seats as we decided to do the colors of the rainbow.

Scottie, in Napoleon Cenex, is a gem beyond measure. He is such an awesome handy man. We watched him mix up the paint and, on the way home Jacob said to me, "I think that Scottie is their biggest asset in there." Isn't that great coming out of a 13-year-old boy?

Well, we got home, after searching Napoleon for a 7th bolt, and Robert located one down in Kintyre. GOOD GRIEF. Jacob and I jumped in the van AGAIN and drove the 1 1/2 miles down to the Titan dealer in Kintyre and got the last missing bolt. That makes 3 trips in the van that I took this afternoon--it just isn't done. I'm a home body. :)

So, after I delivered the paint to Cora so that she could finish painting the seats and the bolts to the guys, I headed out to the garden for some beets. My plan was to make a special feast in honor of our inspection being over and it was a success. The beets were wonderful (the first this year) plus I grilled Porterhouse and T-Bone steaks on the grill. We always save the porterhouse steaks for special occasions and passing our organic inspection is something to celebrate. We also had fresh lacto-fermented bread and chocolate, zucchini cake, so it was definitely a feast.

Well, I need to go wash up the calf bottles for chores so I don't have time to post the pictures of the swing set, but I'll do so tomorrow. Suffice it to say that the swing set is currently laying across the driveway, thus blocking it, so I'm sure it'll be a late night. Robert needs to get out of here in the morning with the truck so that thing has to go in the holes TONIGHT. You can check Cora's post from this morning to see all of the wonderful pictures she's taken so far.

Out to the barn,

Twenty-two Days to Empty Next

Hi everyone,   So much has happened since I wrote last time here.  Sometimes so much happens in just one day that my head spins.   My head ...
