Have you ever thought of snow as clean? We had another foot of snow over the past 2 days and everything looks so white and pure--clean! It truly looks beautiful outside today with the evergreens covered in a blanket of white. It looks just like "A picture print from Currier and Ives." The view out my window looks just like this! TOTALLY GORGEOUS
I'm thinking now of what Robert, my husband, would say if I were to ask him about the new snowfall. You see, he's out there pushing snow with the tractor. He said to me this morning, "I'll push snow all morning around here and head up to the plant and push snow all afternoon up there!" Can't you just hear his "UG?"
So there's 2 sides to snow--the beauty and the work of pushing it to places where it won't interfere with our family being able to move around. They both exist. They're both real.
As I thought about all of this, I pondered how people can get clean and I don't mean on the outside. I thought of that ugly feeling of hatred that consumed the first 2 decades of my life. I remembered breaking free from all of that hatred at our church's revival meetings in Bismarck. I remembered repenting of all of the hatred and asking God to help me to forgive those who had molested me so many times as I grew up.
What does it take to get clean on the inside? I think this video holds the answer. When we forgive those who have harmed us, a layer of that hatred cracks and falls off. When we pray for strength to ask for forgiveness of those we've harmed, love gets even stronger. For me, and perhaps for you, when we begin the life long battle of forgiving OURSELVES, then the true power of God shines forth to the world.
Tomorrow we're hosting our annual "Bring in the new year with us" party. I am eager to see everyone and to rejoice in how the Lord brought us all through 2019. No, Cora and her family will NOT be joining us. It's the first time and I'm still very sad about their moving away. However, they are where God wants them. I guess it's time to forgive Him for that!
So my new year's wish for all of my wonderful readers is this. Please learn how to forgive. It's the only way I've found to feel clean on the inside.
HAPPY 2020 EVERYONE!!

We are one in Christ!
Shabbat Shalom, Happy Sabbath everyone!
No I am not Jewish. I was raised in the Evangelical United Brethren church which sold it's soul to the World Wide Methodist denomination when I was in Junior High. Immediately all Scripture and mentions of Jesus as God were removed from our Sunday School lessons. I am so grateful that I got as much truth as I did before this disaster took place!
As Robert and I sought truth for our family, though, our Heavenly Father led us to the Sabbath. Once we got past how we were raised and what our families would think, we saw it clear as day. The 4th Commandment is VERY specific about what day Father has blessed as a holy day of rest. So we have kept the Sabbath day holy for 24 years now.
We didn't know anyone who kept the feasts of the Lord until Andrew met Marie. We kept the Sabbath faithfully and do so to this day but the feasts were as foreign to us as the Sabbath was once. How do you do it? Why do you do it? Should we do it?
So that's where we've been these past 24 years of Sabbath keeping. We did make one attempt to keep the Passover but the enemy stole it from us through the harsh words of an extremely dysfunctional family when we were living over by Linton.
This past year, the Father has led me to the Rabbi Curt Landry. In his book, Rabbi Landry explains how his life became complete when he grasped his identity. Christianity grew out of Judaism. That is abundantly clear to those who have eyes to see.
So it's Hanukkah time and we have no clue what it means to us. Perhaps you are like us and are curious what God would have your family do about the Biblical feasts of God??? Perhaps you are laughing at my ignorance but I would beg you not to.
You see, Rabbi Landry has been called to bring the Church to it's Jewish roots AND the Jews to their Messiah--our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. THAT IS A MAMMOTH TASK!! Let's all pray for him.
So today I've been listening to this service. I would urge you to listen, too, especially around one hour and 10 minutes into the video. Rabbi Landry explains what the hanukkiah means and it is RICH in meaning for us as Christians.
I pray that God will use this very simple and humble attempt to lead the Church to it's Jewish roots and the Jews to the Savior! May this movement grow and grow as God's love fills us with a desire to understand our true identity in Him!
Lots of love,
Dawn

The Unknown Door
If you've read here at all, you are aware that I receive the daily emails from THE ELIJAH LIST. It's so fascinating to read what God is saying to His people around the world right now!! It's clear to me that God IS going to be moving on behalf of His people in the 2020s.
Our part is to believe that things ARE changing for the better. Our part is to be willing to change too. This prophecy was incredibly exciting as I ponder growing out of the fears of childhood. He wants me to rub shoulders with those who are growing in Him! "It's time to grow up, Dawn!" He seems to be saying.
Sure I was beaten and raped as a child--then mocked and scorned as worthless by the very ones who did this to me. Is God able to heal me from ALL of that? Well, I've been receiving healing from Him for 30 years in this area of my life. Why, then, am I still not well and strong for Him?
I encourage you to read every word of this prophecy if you have similar questions. I loved reading God's poetry at the very end of the article. WOW! God writes great poetry!
Love to all,
Dawn
PS. This door looks very similar to the door of Heaven I saw on October 2, 2007. That's the night I died and begged God to let me enter into my reward. He was on the other side. I've never felt such love before! He softly said, "No, you must go back. You have much work to do before you can come here to live." Still, it was unforgettable to be there--if only for a few moments. God exists and He loves all of us!!

"4 Keys of Wisdom for Navigating
the
New Era"
Alane Haynes, San Diego, CA
The first night of Hebraic Year 5780 I had a very surreal dream that I knew was from the Lord. I have been praying over it and seeking Him as to the meaning, and whether it pertained only to me or was also for others. The dream had four distinct segments about moving forward. I believe the Lord is giving keys of wisdom for navigating this Kingdom era.
The Dream
The first part of the dream was black and white. I was on a mountain, crouching against bare boulders. I was not aware of how high I was until airplanes began flying next to me. They were solid gray and looked like fighter planes. They kept coming closer, one after another, until they were nearly brushing me. The noise and wind from the planes were intense. I realized I was holding a baby, and it seemed the planes were trying to attack us. I was aware that it was a situation where I could go into fear, but I was not afraid; I knew I was protected.
Looking for a way of escape, I turned and faced what seemed to be a wall of boulders. As I looked closer, I saw a weather-beaten door. It was almost like an optical illusion of a small shed blending into the boulders. The wood was as gray and textured as the rocks; a person not looking for a way of escape would have missed it. I opened the door and saw a dark stairway descending to a basement. The walls were earthen and the steps were worn and unpainted. I descended down the stairs to another door.
I opened the door to a brightly illuminated room furnished with only a sink and toilet. Everything was pure white except for one area. There was a rectangular frame of white wood encompassing the most beautiful shade of azure blue I have ever seen. It was very surreal; it seemed to be a window in the floor, and I could feel it drawing me with a temptation to jump in and swim into another realm.
My senses were very alert. I looked closer and saw that it was actually filled with a very thick, gel-like substance that could be a toxic chemical. I discerned it was an illusion of beauty meant to intrigue and lead into danger. I felt strongly protective of the baby I was holding, so I turned away and then saw an open wall. As I walked through, I saw paving stones that seemed to be floating in space. Again, I had no fear, and I took a step forward.
I was immediately in a house that had many rooms. The colors in the rooms were subdued earth tones, and the lighting was dim and shadowy. Each room was filled with people that I knew from ministries I had been involved with in recent years. They were all engaged in quiet conversation and minimal activity. These were people I could relate to and had ministered with, but none of these relationships were intimate or deep. I felt a need to change my clothes, but every room was full. I felt I did not belong there and knew it was time to move on.
Immediately I was in another location, and no longer carrying the baby. I was outdoors, on a sidewalk; it was dusk but the colors were vibrant and there was a palpable excitement in the air. I was very animated and engaged with others in this setting, although I did not know any of them. I was standing next to a bicycle that seemed to be mine and I wondered why it was there and how I would get it home, as there would have to be a vehicle large enough to carry it. I thought about riding it home, but I knew it was too far and not what was supposed to happen. I was certain that all would be made clear when necessary. Then I woke up.
The Interpretation – Part One: Faith vs. Fear
I nearly always dream in color. Whenever I dream in black and white, it is a representation of very clear opposites – in this case, faith versus fear. The baby represents what we have birthed, or are carrying to be birthed, for the Kingdom – all that God has conceived in you, those things ordained before the world was formed (Eph. 2:10), which He prepared to be brought forth! Guard what you are carrying at all costs!
There is a war over our destinies. There will be enemy attacks; we will encounter many obstacles as we progress. We are being trained to trust God and walk in faith that He is with us always. Know that you are protected (Ps. 91) and no weapon which is formed against you shall prosper (Is. 54:17)!
I heard by the Holy Spirit, "Trust Me in the war and you will see the door. Know that I am always near; do not be tempted to react in fear. In faith the way of escape becomes clear."
"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." (1 Cor. 10:13, NKJV)
The Interpretation – Part Two: Protect What You Carry and Walk in Purity
Every place I lived as a child had an earthen basement. They were dark, cold and fearful places that were homes to spiders, rats and snakes. What I sense by the Holy Spirit is that the earthen stairway represents places of darkness in us – known or hidden – strongholds keeping us captive. The Lord desires to bring His light for deliverance, purification and healing so that we can be pure carriers of His glory.
I heard the Lord say, "You can descend into darkness when you know I am with you. Trust Me, I am leading you."
"And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." (Deut. 31:8, KJV)
White symbolizes purity; the the sink and toilet represent washing, cleansing and elimination of all that is filthy and harmful. We must protect the purity of what we are carrying, the holiness of what God has birthed and desires to bring to full maturity.
The alluring window represents the desire for spiritual encounters outside of Christ alone. He will take us on spiritual journeys, but to seek the experience outside of Him is going through another door. The Holy Spirit will take us through the process of purification so that we can accurately discern between the true and the false.
I heard Him say, "I am grieved that many of My children are being led astray by what the enemy brings their way. His disguises are many, enticing flesh and soul; selflessness and purity he will never extol; destruction and death his ultimate goal. It will seem you are descending as I show you the darkness in your soul; let My healing cleanse you and I will make you whole. Purity of heart is what I require; let My refining fire purify your heart's desire. Trust Me in the dark; your way will be made light. You will receive by My Spirit purity of sight."
"O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge – by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. Grace be with you. Amen." (1 Tim. 6:20-21, NKJV)
"Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." (2 Cor. 11:1-3, KJV)
The Interpretation - Part Three: Put on the New Mantle
In this segment, there was a stark difference in color and tone from the previous section. I sensed this was a representation of not being rightly aligned – there was no life, and all was dull and subdued. When we settle for the familiar, there is no growth! The fall colors represent things that are dying off; this was a place of death and decay! Feeling a need to change my clothes symbolized that it is time to put on the new mantle and go forward.
As I sought the Lord for further understanding, I heard Him say, "I have fashioned you for a perfect fit; move forward. You will be fitly joined, in alignment for furtherance of the Kingdom. Some are in position and bringing forth fruit, but there are many unsettled and searching, hungering for more, yet fearful as they do not see what is in store. I say, 'I am the Door; follow Me. I am calling you forth into the new.' Much will be entrusted to you as you continue looking to Me, for I am faithful and true. Your separation is part of the preparation."
"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went." (Heb. 11:8, KJV)
The Interpretation – Part Four: Move Forward into the Unknown
Upon awakening, I immediately heard, "You have to leave the bicycle behind." I knew that the bicycle represented the past way of doing things. Many years ago, when I was proud of being self-reliant, I often rode my bicycle to work. Transportation also represents ministry. I believe that this is saying that we can no longer rely any longer on the past ways of doing things.
In the dream, I became fully alive with the people who were on the journey of moving forward into the unknown, and not those staying in the familiar place. The Lord is speaking to the courageous ones who will move into the unknown by His leading, willing to leave behind familiar ways of doing things and relying on moment-to-moment wisdom by the Holy Spirit. We haven't been this way before, and the old ways can't get us to the destination.
It was dusk. Biblically, the new day begins at dusk. The sense of being fully engaged and exuberantly joyful in this section confirms for me that this represents the new day – walking in newness of life – perfectly aligned, fitted and moving in fullness of faith. There is freedom in this place to release all that God has put within us. I believe that the baby not being in this segment of the dream reveals that what was birthed by the Spirit of God is now mature and complete.
I found it significant that I didn't speak in any part of the dream until the last section, where everyone was full of life and interacting with one another. You will know when you are rightly fitted, for there will be vibrancy of life – quickening from proper connections. There is a certainty of alignment and timing that brings freedom of expression. The Body of Christ is voice activated! Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom. 10:17)! When the Spirit of God says, "Now speak," and we obey, others will be activated into their purpose!
"Moment by Moment, Abide in Me"
As I sought the Lord for His heart and mind, I heard,
"Moment by moment, abide in Me,
from My presence do not flee.
All will come forth as meant to be.
I have ordained for you to be free –
free from fears, doubts and worries of life;
those things that cause you trouble and strife.
Lay hold of Me, and of My peace;
turn fully to Me and release
every care upon your heart.
A new measure of grace I will impart.
You do not need to know when or how.
Position your heart; choose to bow,
and you see My resources called forth now.
"Moment by moment, abide in Me,
from My presence do not flee.
All will come forth as meant to be.
I have ordained for you to be free –
free from fears, doubts and worries of life;
those things that cause you trouble and strife.
Lay hold of Me, and of My peace;
turn fully to Me and release
every care upon your heart.
A new measure of grace I will impart.
You do not need to know when or how.
Position your heart; choose to bow,
and you see My resources called forth now.
"I am bringing you into life so pure,
your discernment will be certain and sure.
I will reveal what heretofore was hidden;
not necessary to see until you were bidden.
Now move forward, walk into the new;
I AM the way in which to come through.
In the moment is where I am found,
here I will be your solid ground.
In Me alone your true voice is found;
speak from Me and life will abound.
your discernment will be certain and sure.
I will reveal what heretofore was hidden;
not necessary to see until you were bidden.
Now move forward, walk into the new;
I AM the way in which to come through.
In the moment is where I am found,
here I will be your solid ground.
In Me alone your true voice is found;
speak from Me and life will abound.
"Will you walk through the door into the unknown,
entrusting your life to Me alone?
Will you walk in My ways,
let Me order your days,
letting Me receive all honor and praise?
Will you step away from your dreams and plans,
eyes on Me, no backward glance?
Move with Me into the new.
It will feel unfamiliar yet true;
your calling and destiny will unfold unto you."
entrusting your life to Me alone?
Will you walk in My ways,
let Me order your days,
letting Me receive all honor and praise?
Will you step away from your dreams and plans,
eyes on Me, no backward glance?
Move with Me into the new.
It will feel unfamiliar yet true;
your calling and destiny will unfold unto you."
"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." (Jn. 10:27, KJV)

Is your life sweet?
Oh I had a marvelous time with Robert yesterday!! My sweetie and I are going on 40 years of marriage and it just keeps getting better and better.
We both recall that sermon over a decade ago when our church was holding revival meetings. The guest speaker said that, with satan, what seems good is at the beginning. Then we are addicted and things fall apart and we have hell on Earth and hell in the afterlife.
With Jesus, we struggle against our selfish desires but He helps us to think of others and not just ourselves. Sure we matter but we're not meant to be ALL that there is to us. He blesses us with so much MORE than just ourselves!!! As He helps us conquer our sinful nature, life gets sweeter and sweeter. Eventually life is so sweet that we're ready to move up to Heaven and live with Him there forever. That's the ultimate sweetness!!
At any point in our trying to fix ourselves, we can humbly come before the Lord and tell Him that we know we messed up. We can ask Him to forgive us and move into our hearts and take over. THAT'S WHAT HE WANTS TO DO!!
So human nature says, "I want to stay in charge." Guess what? we're not in charge when we live that way--satan is. My hugest prayer for you all, as this year wanes, is that you give your life to Jesus. He is the best friend you will ever find anywhere and He will make your life sweeter and sweeter. Yes, I know that hugest isn't a word but I want to really stress that the only way to have a wonderful life is to surrender your life to Jesus/Yeshua! You can do that right this very minute and I urge you to!!!
So, even though Robert and I are just 2 sinners selfish through and through, the Lord has taken our lives and made us 2 lovers for nearly 40 years. Has He made our life sweeter and sweeter as time goes on? OH YES HE HAS!!
I was telling Robert yesterday on the way to Bismarck about how Timothy, our little grandson, greeted me at tea last week. He walked into Luci's kitchen; saw me at the table; got the biggest grin on his face; and came running to me. I scooped Timothy up in my arms and we hugged for over a minute. I can't stop thinking about it!!! My life is getting sweeter and sweeter!
If you have given your life to the Lord, and it's not all butterflies and roses yet, press on. Press into Jesus. Give Him your troubles. I promise you that every trial He brings you through, He WILL become more and more sweet to you. He's the best friend you'll ever have!
God bless your day with all the things that are sweet to you!!
Much love,
Dawn

Isn't His love for us amazing??
Father just said to share this song with all of my precious readers. I don't have much time to write as Robert is taking me out for my birthday supper tonight early. You see, my birthday is on Christmas day and that's a pretty hard day to get away AND to find a restaurant open.
I'm not sure why He picked this song but I pray it blesses all of you no matter where you are at on this globe we call Earth. Let's stand amazed together with the great, great love of God for He dearly loves us ALL!
Enjoy!

More abundance remained
I've been thinking about this quote a lot here lately. It seems that, just as I begin to think I lack something, the Lord runs this concept through my mind. It's an amazing concept for me to grasp as this little girl was raised in the ugliest house in town and hardly ever had nice clothes.
We did have lots of food as my mother and I raised 2 large gardens and butchered our own chickens. Once a year my dad would take our butcher steer to the butcher shop and then we had the BEST grass-fed beef imaginable. Mom made WONDERFUL buns and our table was always full.
We were poor in other ways though. I was taught to count toilet paper squares--1 square for #1 and 2 squares for #2. My once a week showers were timed and all of us wore hand-me-downs.
Once, when I was asked to sing a solo for the Christmas program at church, my mom spent a large sum of money for a beautiful white dress for me. The whole 75 miles home I had to listen to Dad chewing out Mom for spending so much money on a dress for me. Do you think I enjoyed wearing my brand new dress as I sang on Christmas Eve? Not much as I had a hard time getting past all of the guilt that I was taking family funds for a needless dress.
I was first exposed to this abundance concept in the series THE ELEVEN FORGOTTEN LAWS. It's an incredible program and I urge you to watch it if you're still believing that THE SECRET really works. It doesn't but I digress.
As I listened to the teachings in THE ELEVEN FORGOTTEN LAWS, Bob Proctor and Mary Morisay brought my Christian training into a positive light. Sure we're supposed to love our enemies but we're also supposed to love ourselves. So much of what I learned in churches my whole life was that I was bad and deserved hell both during and after my life. WRONG!!
Jesus said that if we, who are sinners, can give good gifts to our children SO DOES GOD!! So this idea of an abundant life seemed strange at first but, as I thought of this phrase, it began to shift my thinking. "From abundance he scooped abundance and MORE abundance remained." Jesus also said that He came to give us ABUNDANT LIFE!
I wondered if anyone else had given this concept much thought. You can imagine my delight when I found this short video. I pray that all of my readers will listen with an open mind to these words. God has GREAT riches!!!!!!! God LOVES us!!! Putting those 2 concepts together, which both are true, does NOT equal a life of poverty!! It just doesn't.
Bob Proctor shared in the series I mentioned that some people have never experienced a full belly in their entire lives. This I cannot imagine. Counting toilet paper squares I can imagine but not living in hunger. I don't want to think about it too much, though, as I have no desire to go there. What we think about, we draw to ourselves!!! That's why Jesus said to guard our thoughts. Instead I thank Him frequently and very sincerely for all of the food He blesses my family and I with!
My final thought I'd like to share with all of you is this. God's riches are endless! He calls the cattle on a thousand hills HIS! If you have been raised to believe that poverty is your lot in life or that you are somehow superior to those living in abundance, as I was taught, then you were taught lies too!! POVERTY IS NOT FROM GOD!!!
If this abundance idea is appealing to you, then take 2 minutes and listen to these words.
May God abundantly bless you above ALL that you can ever imagine--and I do mean in THIS life and the next!!!
Dawn

Anyone interested in hearing the other side?
I'm not sure if the news about this disgraceful impeachment sham has reached you or not. I will say that I have never been so concerned about my republic as I am through this terrible ordeal that our President and his family are going through.
LIES LIES LIES and yet they push onward. Today I learned on the Jay Sekulow show that Nancy Pelosi is now telling the Senate how to do their jobs. She must be totally under the control of satan or she has lost her mind somewhere.
Much has been said concerning the processes going on in the US House these days. Thinking individuals can see that Pelosi has led her team down the path of destruction. I can't see how they will survive the re-election process after trashing the votes of the people they supposedly represent--not that I feel sorry for them.
I'm going to share two videos with you that share my sentiments in all of this disgraceful behavior. The first is from North Dakota's Freshman Representative. I couldn't be happier to have this man speaking up for freedom on my behalf.
This second video echos the demands that these attacks on due process end before ALL of us loose our freedoms. The President had NO representation during any of the hearings--NONE! Well, I'll let you listen yourself.
PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR COUNTRY!!!

Ready for a BIG breakthrough? YES
I just read today's prophecy on THE ELIJAH LIST and it has me VERY excited. As I read of the fires sent earlier this year to purify the church, I sadly remembered the internal struggles of both Robert and I when we learned that our daughter and family were moving away from us. It practically tore our hearts apart and it seems that we're still suffering.
However, this prophecy matches so many others about God using the trials of the first half of this year to usher in the IMMENSE blessings of the second half. I am so ready for a breakthrough!
Please read this prayerfully and ask God to open doors for you, too, that He has been preparing to open! I urge you to ask Him for your breakthrough too. I'm not exactly sure how that will play out in my life but it's going to be BETTER!!
Will it mean less pain? Will it mean more clients with open minds ready to be healed too? What will the rest of the year bring? I don't know but I am eager to find out.
After the prophecy, I'm going to share a song that I sang once in a lady's trio. It so penetrated my soul that I've said "YES" to the Lord in many a hardship. Now I am saying "YES" to the Lord bringing in answered prayers and peace and strength and love like never before! Just tell Him, "YES!"
Talk soon,

Here's another version. "Yes Lord Yes!!" Say it with me, "YES LORD YES"

"You Are One Stone's Throw Away From Breakthrough!"
Victoria Boyson, Montgomery, TX
Earlier this year, I shared a vision of the fire of the enemy coming on the warriors of God. In that vision, the warriors were covered in black charcoal because of the fire they'd endured. Understandably, I think most people were hoping I was wrong – me too!
Now months later, the fire though shocking, treacherous, jarring and even stupefying, is subduing. And coming out of it, I hear the Father saying: "You are one stone's throw away from VICTORY!"
The Anointing of God Meets the Arrogance of Man
Remember David? When he met Goliath, it was just another day like any other, and yet that day would be different for him. At that point, nothing had changed in his life except for receiving the anointing from God to be king. He had nothing else going for him. He wasn't big, well-known or even the favorite of his family. He was a shepherd and nothing much else was expected from him.
David was ordinary; common by man's standards. The anointing to be king hadn't changed his situation except it did seem to put a big target on his back, and his brothers were obviously jealous. While man chose him to watch the sheep and carry food to his brothers, God chose to make him a deliverer! And so it happened that on that very ordinary day, the anointing of God met with the arrogance of man and only one man was standing when it was all over.
Father God is saying to you: "You feel hidden and forgotten. You have nothing going for you EXCEPT ME! I have chosen you for a purpose that will turn heads and leave jaws dropping. My child, you are ONE STONE'S THROW AWAY from your life changing forever!"
A fire like no other has come against you, but you've remained steadfast in your love and trust for the Father, and all the while He has watched over you and fought for you. Though the fire has been intense, the presence of God has been pervasive, invasive and breathtaking.
Sometimes, He's even carried you through Himself, but you are nearly there. Just one push and your enemy's oppression will give way to the new you that has been hidden under the ashes of the enemy's assault.
You will stand VICTORIOUS in complete submission to your heavenly Father, and thus, through Him, you will be more powerful than any earthly force can reckon with. The fire has not destroyed you! No! The enemy's attacks against you have emboldened you! They have turned your ashes into IRON! No one else could have turned what the enemy meant for your destruction into the construction of a KING!
You Went to Sleep a Child and Woke Up a Warrior
The calling on your life has made you a target. Indeed, the enemy is intensely jealous of the LOVE the Father has for you, and he hates you for having what he can never have. Yet, in the darkness of the night you've endured the enemy's hatred and now the sunrise on your trial has nearly dawned.
Awakening now, you realize that all along it was only the pruning of the Lord you've endured, and all the enemy has thrown at you has worked to make you an intense and glory-filled warrior of the most-high God. You went to sleep a child and awoke a mighty, fearless warrior experienced in VICTORY! God has proven once again that He is the superior power and the darkness is dispelled by the greatness of His light!
Goliath has fallen and you are the one with the sling in your hand. You thought you were only a child, simply trusting the Father who loves you, and yet you see a vile, once-seething giant lying headless at your feet. Everyone is looking at you with their eyes wide and jaws dropped. Not expecting much from you, they had no idea you had it in you, but they were not there when you killed the lion and the bear. They were not there when your heavenly Father told you that you were chosen and loved by Him. They were not there when He poured His power into you and called you RULER OF NATIONS!
A Table for You!
Satan can't stand to watch our faith in God manifest into our breakthrough. He sees it as a great failure. He is determined to strike at the heart of our belief and pour out discouragement. Disillusioned by the lies of the enemy, we tend to lose faith in God and soon feel crushed under the weight of Earth's reality.
Many give lip service to TRUSTING GOD, but it's in the darkest moments that true faith is formed. The Word of God tells us our faith will be tested, so why are we surprised when it is? A faith that is built on the manifestation of the supernatural cannot always be trusted, but a faith that is built on a loving relationship of trust is unstoppable.
When being in God's will matters more to you than getting everything your way, you have a true relationship with Him. When you've tried everything you know to do and have nothing to hope in except the realization that your heavenly Father loves you, then you've discovered the key to everlasting JOY! When your love for Him matters more than your own safety, you're unstoppable!
You Won't Walk Out Alone
You may be thrown into the fire alone, but you won't walk out on your own!
Self-will will frighten us into the arms of our enemy, but the furnace of affliction will turn our ashes into a rod of IRON, a weapon of mass destruction to our enemies.
Nebuchadnezzar was furious with the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, when they refused to bow down to his false god (Daniel 3), but it was their TRUST in God and LOVE for Him that made it impossible for them to consider saving their own lives at the risk of turning from Him. It wasn't courage or gallantry that held them fast, but a relationship of love that made their faith unbreakable.
God's love is UNFAILING! When you are loved like that, it matters more than safety or comfort. If we would just TRUST HIM, He would drive back our enemies, break through the chains of despair and make a wild display of His love for us in the presence of our haters!
The enemy raises up people willing to hate us and uses them as weapons to break us, yet God says, "NO!" He turns the enemy's weapons into an audience and puts on a SHOW OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU! He will make them watch while HE PREPARES A TABLE FOR YOU (Psalm 23:5). He will DISPLAY HIS LOVE for you and make them watch! For, it was their attacks against you that made you the fearless warrior you've become.
It was, indeed, the fire of their harassment that the Father used to prepare you for the INTENSE BLESSINGS He's been waiting to bestow on you. For only a good father understands the pressures you will face as you walk in what's ahead for you. Indeed, would it be a Father's love to allow you to proceed to the calling and purpose awaiting you without proper preparation? He loves you and He doesn't want to see you crushed by the pressures blessings can bring!
Unfailing Love
David was victorious because he focused on God's love for him. It was in the hiddenness of the fields where he was persuaded by LOVE to understand his God well. When David went up against Goliath, he was relying on God's unfailing love to give him success over his enemy. Relying on the Father's love gave him an overwhelming victory, much easier, dramatic and miraculous than any victory David would have had by relying on his own strength and talent.
Often, Scripture equates God's unfailing love with salvation. When we think of salvation, we think of our born-again experience, but those who were writing Scripture would not necessarily have been thinking that. Indeed, their idea of salvation would be salvation from their earthly circumstances.
King David had many enemies who wanted to destroy him, so when David equates unfailing love with salvation, he is counting on the love of God to save him from his enemies. And rightly so, for David was saved from his enemies. God made him victorious over and over. Throughout his life God's love never failed, truly, it was UNFAILING! He said, "Lord, give me Your unfailing love, the salvation that You promised me" (Psalm 119:41).
The Stone in Your Hand
You were created to love; it is your function. You are worthy of love, not because you've done something to make you worthy, but because it is what He created you for. If your earthly father says you are not lovable, remember that your Creator was your Father first and He created you to be loved!
You are not worthy of love because you are perfect. You are not worthy of love because you are good-looking. You are not worthy of love because you are brilliant. You are worthy of love because GOD MADE YOU! And He made you to be loved BY HIM and that makes you extraordinary.
You are not difficult to love, because God loved you from the first. If God loves you, then YOU ARE LOVED. Even if your father and mother hate you, God will love you completely (Psalm 27:10). If you are broken by life, God loves you unfailingly. His love refuses to stop. His love refuses to fail.
When the enemy throws your failures up in your face and when he's relentless with his accusations, you remind him that in spite of it all, GOD LOVES YOU!
Remind him that nothing will EVER separate you from God's love, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39).
You are VICTORIOUS! You have what you need for victory. You have the LOVE of the FATHER and, like a stone in your hand, it doesn't look significant, but it is. It is your weapon of mass destruction to annihilate your enemy and fell the giant standing in your way. You are just one stone's throw away from breakthrough – throw the stone and watch Goliath fall!

This is AMAZING!!!
WOW Robert found this tonight and I am absolutely fascinated. So far, my most wonderful musical achievement has been playing piano duets with my daughter! Can you imagine playing with FOUR OTHER PEOPLE? They must be related as their name is the "Five Browns."
You are in for a very rare delight.
Enjoy,

On Earth as in Heaven!
I cannot tell a lie. I hurt ALL THE TIME! That's the MS. The pain plus muscle spasms; vision problems; and memory loss have been my constant companions for decades.
I cannot tell a lie that many days I dream of going to Heaven and gathering the rewards I have earned by serving the risen Savior for over 50 years. To have Him wipe away my tears. To have NO PAIN. To be with my children I miscarried. These are ALL calling to me on the worst days with MS.
Instead of taking me, though, Father keeps whispering, "You have work to do yet." I wonder when my work will be finished.
When I found Kat Kerr, she really resonated with my immense NEED to go to Heaven NOW. Hearing her share what Father has shown her, on her frequent visits to Heaven, has confirmed all my desires to go there. However, here lately things have been changing in my thinking just a little.
Kat keeps quoting the Scriptures of when Jesus said, "Greater things than I have done, YOU WILL DO!"
How can that be?
Now many of the prophets on the Elijah List have been sharing that God IS invading the Earth. I've been present when He opened up 3 portals for the angels to come and go. Kat also has said many times that ever since Christ was here, people have been praying, "On Earth as it is in Heaven." What does that mean?
Well, I am NOT a prophet although God did tell me that my mother would die suddenly and she did. I'm grateful that He gave us that last half year together.
I do love God very much! I do want to please Him more than anything else! I DO want things to be on Earth as they are in Heaven as that seems to be His plan. So what is Heaven like?
Here is where Kat's hundreds of trips come in handy. I pray that you will listen to this video with a heart to know what God plans to do with your life. We all think we know what we should be doing but what does GOD think we should be doing? It seems pretty clear that He wants US to help HIM bring Heaven to Earth. WOW!!!!!!!
May your faith increase as you realize that God is taking many people on trips to Heaven. Kat is the person that He wants me to hear speak about it for whatever reasons. It gives me hope of a better life HERE ON EARTH!! I say, "The sooner the better!"
May God bless you as you seek the truth about His wonderful world called Heaven!

Family reunion
Robert and I had a marvelous time hosting Cora and her family in our home this past weekend. We had a potluck Saturday night with Andrew's family included and Marie's Dad and Sister were with us too. The house was full of laughter and YES we took family photos. Thanks a million to Andrew for the use of your photography skills and equipment once again!!
I loved watching Timothy and Elsie together! When he saw her, Timothy let out a squeal of laughter and came running to her. She pressed against Grandma Dawn and I got him slowed down enough to a "Strong hug" level. Those two little ones sure love each other a whole bunch but haven't seen each other for a couple of months. She warmed up to her cousin quickly and soon they were playing together like no separation had taken place. It was adorable when Timothy took Elsie's hand and took her down to the family room to see the fire place lit up. The heater wasn't turned on so we weren't concerned about them getting burnt.
Little Christina is crawling around really FAST. I was surprised how she gets around so much quicker since I saw her last month. She is sooo cute with her 2 tooth grin. Of course, holding our newest grandchild, Josiah was an extra special thrill!!! I'm praying that Christina and Josiah will be just as great pals as Timothy and Elsie are someday!
Robert and I are in the 6th year of the TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL series. Sometimes they're hard to watch like last night's episode of WW2. Always the message of God's love for ALL people shines through. Here is a clip from the Jewish perspective of that horrible chapter in Earth's history.
Today the true record of 6,000,000 Jew's deaths is not so commonly spoken of as it was when I grew up. I think it's important that everyone remembers what hatred can do. How powerful it is when one people group lifts itself up above another people group. HOW TERRIBLY POWERFUL!
In this clip Andrew (the Angel of Death) is telling a tragically lonely man about his father's death in a concentration camp. I think it's important to remember that how we live every day either lifts others up or pulls them down. How we die does too.
I pray that God's love for His children will flood everyone's heart as you ponder these things. By His children I mean specially the Jewish people. Secondly I refer to those who have given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. Lastly I refer to ALL people for the Bible tells us that God is not willing for ANY to perish without knowing how very much He loves them.
I think often of the song the angels sang on the night that Jesus/Yeshua was born. PEACE ON EARTH GOOD WILL TO MEN!! God wants us to have peace in our hearts and peace in our relationships. May His peace flood you as you see that how you live your life matters GREATLY!
Lots of love,
Dawn

Does it matter any more?
This morning I was pondering about how I have gotten away from sending cards. Sure 55 cents for postage is a lot to spend on a regular basis but a card can mean so much to those who are hurting or lonely!
When my brother died several years ago, I got 1 sympathy card--one from the hundreds of people who knew me and my brother. Even my mother-in-law handed a card to the widow and nothing for me!
Recently Christian.com had an amazing sale on cards--a dozen for $2 or $3 so I stocked up. It makes me happy to have a supply of cards on hand for any occasion that comes up. I even have blank cards so that I can literally fit any occasion that my friends may need a card for. YAY
Then I pondered what other reasons there may for me becoming sloppy in this area. It occurred to me that people in general are "TOO BUSY" to send a card to others any more. Even 20 years ago, when a young couple in our church had a miscarriage, I sent them a "Thinking about you card." Later she told me that I was the only one in a church of 250 members that sent them a card when they had asked for prayer on the loss of their child. );
So then I got to wondering what other ways our culture has gotten sloppy with our ever ending quest for entertainment. I found this article with the hopes that everyone who reads it will implement at least a couple of these ideas. What will happen if EVERYONE in the world is a little more polite to each other in just 1 or 2 ways?
I urge you to read this looking for areas where you can improve. There is no need to look at others with disgust unless we are perfect in our manners 100% of the time. No, the changes need to start in ME!
God bless you as you begin to see that one way to follow the Golden Rule is by showing others courtesy with your pleasant manners.

The Importance of Etiquette
Introduction
Some people argue that etiquette no longer matters, that the rules for good behavior are old-fashioned and out of date. However, good behavior and manners are never out of style. Etiquette, like all other cultural behaviors, evolves to match the times. Without etiquette, members of society would show far too much impatience and disrespect for one another, which would lead to insults, dishonesty, cheating, road rage, fist fights, and a rash of other unfortunate incidents.
Etiquette is merely a set of guidelines for politeness and good manners, the kindnesses with which we should always treat each other. It will always matter!
What Is Etiquette?
Etiquette, the complex network of rules that govern good behavior and our social and business interactions, is always evolving and changing as society changes. It reflects our cultural norms, generally accepted ethical codes, and the rules of various groups we belong to.
It helps us show respect and consideration to others and makes others glad that we are with them. Without proper manners and etiquette, the customs of polite society would soon disappear and we would act more like animals and less like people. Aggressiveness and an "every man for himself" attitude would take the lead.
In earlier times, the rules of etiquette were used for two purposes: to remind people of their own status within society and to reinforce certain restrictions on individuals within that society.
In the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, for instance, etiquette dictated everything from how low a person of inferior rank had to bow to a person of higher rank to how long a man had to spend courting a woman before the two could marry.
Even the way a person mourned was strictly outlined by rules of etiquette until as recently as the Civil War era in the United States. Widows then were expected to dress in "widow's weeds," or completely black clothing and veils, for a full year after the death of a husband.
These types of rules in earlier society were usually determined by the ruling classes because they served the purpose of making them more secure in their roles as the rulers of society. By far, the most strenuously enforced rules of etiquette were tied to how one showed respect for the king and his highest ranking officials, such as dukes and princes. It reinforced their authority.
The rules of etiquette concerning marriage, mourning, and other major events of life largely applied only to the ruling classes or the wealthy. Peasants and workers, as long as they followed the rules of etiquette pertaining to respecting their superiors, were not expected to follow formalized rules of courtship; they tended to base their own "rules" of courtship on good manners and common sense.
Over the centuries, as society has become more democratic, etiquette has become an excellent combination of good manners, common sense, and rules of conduct that reflect cultural norms and the rules of our society as a whole rather than just one distinct group within it. It has less to do with the fashion of the moment or who is in power and more to do with putting others at ease and an ethical code of conduct.
Etiquette in Today's Society
Today's etiquette serves several important functions:
· Etiquette provides personal security. Knowing how to behave appropriately in a given situation makes you more comfortable.
· It protects the feelings of others. Proper etiquette requires that you make others comfortable and protect their feelings. You do not point out their errors or draw attention to their mistakes.
· It makes communication clearer. Etiquette enhances communication by breaking down barriers, not erecting them.
· It will enhance your status at work. In any working situation, you are perceived as more capable, more professional, and more intelligent if you are familiar with the proper code of conduct for the workplace.
· It makes good first impressions. The first five to seven seconds after you meet someone are crucial. Your first impression lingers in the other person's mind long after you are gone. If you use proper etiquette, that first impression will be a positive one.
Society and our culture are now changing so fast that it is hard for the rules of etiquette to keep up. As quickly as a book of etiquette is published, a new form of communication is developed or a new style of dating becomes all the rage and someone declares the latest etiquette book "hopelessly outdated." Keep in mind that etiquette is meant to be a guideline, not a set of strict rules carved in stone. Those guidelines are developed using common sense, a sense of fairness, politeness, and above all, consideration for others. If you let consideration for others be your final arbiter, you will be well on your way to being the kind of polite person who understands the rules of etiquette instinctively.

Etiquette Begins at Home
The reason many young people today do not know much about etiquette is because they never learned it at home--parents no longer directly teach children and teenagers etiquette. If you are reading this to learn more about proper manners and how to practice etiquette in public, your best bet is to start practicing it in private. It is difficult to switch on good behavior only when you feel like you "need to." In fact, we really should not be on our best behavior only around people we barely know or want to impress. Our best behavior should be for the people we love: our friends and family.
Therefore, practice the highest standards of etiquette at home. Be sure to be polite and kind toward your spouse, parents, and children, especially your children, so they will learn from example the proper way to treat other people. If they grow up with etiquette ingrained in them, they will find it easier to form lasting relationships, be successful in their jobs, and move through life as the kind of people others enjoy being around.
You also will find that etiquette becomes second nature to you rather than a set of rules, and your own life will be more pleasant. People respond positively to those who are nice to them and who treat them with respect. Proper etiquette guides you in how to do this without "missing something" because you simply were not aware that something you did or did not do might be offensive to the other person.
The Common Courtesies of Life
Introduction
The common courtesies of life are the endless little gestures we make almost unconsciously as we move through our day. As we go to work and muddle through our day, we interact with bus drivers, waitresses, people on the street, and countless others. How we interact with these individuals can affect their day and ours. The common courtesies of life, from treating a frazzled server with respect to smiling at the person seated across from us on the bus, should never be forgotten.
Moving Through Your Day
Getting through the day can be rough for some of us. If you have a busy schedule, a grueling day at work, or one of your kids is sick, you may have a lot on your mind that puts you in a foul mood. The people around you may be feeling just as miserable, but you do not necessarily want their misery dumped on you, so do not share yours with them. Instead, take the time to be courteous and uphold the small courtesies of life, even when you feel like you would like to sock someone in the nose. Other people will feel better and so will you if you keep making the effort to be polite and share a brief smile or pleasantry.
From Here to There
Whether you are walking, taking a cab or using public transportation, you will interact with others while you go from point A to point B. Do not act like you are the only person on the sidewalk or road or assume you have the right of way in every situation. Etiquette calls for defensive driving and regard for the safety of others in every situation.
· Pedestrians should never cross traffic against the traffic light. It insinuates you are above the law and have no regard for drivers on the road.
· When you are walking, do not avoid eye contact. Look at others and smile, giving them a brief nod. It may give them a pleasant start to their day. Do not stare; however, a brief glance and smile are friendly and appropriate without making the other person uncomfortable.
· Drivers should never use their car horn unless it is an emergency and they are trying to warn someone to get out of the way. When you honk at someone because you are irritated on a busy city street, you are not only bothering that person, you are annoying dozens of other people around you.
· If you tend to drive slowly, stay in the right lane. If you are in the left lane, you are not only being impolite, you are endangering other drivers who will have to weave in and out of lanes more to get past you.
If you use public transportation, keep in mind that the person driving is a professional and should be treated with respect. This person is also going to be holding your life in his or her hands for the duration of your travels in that vehicle, which is not something to be taken lightly.
· Always greet the driver when you get on a bus or into a taxi and thank the person when you leave.
· If you see someone running to catch the bus, let the bus driver know so that she or he can wait if possible.
· If you and another person get to a taxi at the same time, offer to share the ride with him or her. If you are not in a hurry and the other party is headed in the opposite direction, consider offering the person the taxi and hail another one for yourself.
· Any time you are riding on public transportation and see a person who may be uncomfortable standing for any length of time, offer that person your seat. This includes pregnant women, the elderly, anyone on crutches, the disabled, or the blind.
· Do not let your possessions infringe on others' personal space. If you get on public transportation with shopping bags, a brief case, or sample cases, do not put them on the seat next to you or set them in the aisle where others can trip over them. If you can, put them underneath the seat; if you cannot, hold them on your lap. Otherwise, hold everything as tightly to your sides as possible. Remember, buses and other transportation services are for people and are not meant to be your personal delivery service.
Services and Places You Visit
There are lots of places you may go during the course of your day, from restaurants to the dry cleaners. Treat every person you meet with the same amount of respect, regardless of where the person works. The days of courtesy being a product of the recipient's station in life are long gone. For one thing, you have no way of knowing if the person behind the counter is a recent high school graduate or holds a doctorate in nuclear physics. The world is changing rapidly and very few people are working in their chosen field. For another thing, everyone deserves courtesy and respect for doing his or her job; there is no dishonorable work.
· At the dry cleaners or any other service where you are picking up something you have left for cleaning or repairs, try to have your ticket or receipt. Yes, the employee can look up your name, but this takes longer and complicates matters. The receipt was given to you for a reason, and the staff will appreciate your having it ready.
· When a salesperson is helping you, be sure you are clear about what you want and ask for help with graciousness. Do not be patronizing or demanding. Remember that the person is helping you and offer thanks sincerely.
· Always be ready to pay when you reach the register. Digging for your wallet, checkbook, or credit card after you are informed of the amount of purchase tells a cashier and everyone behind you that you do not see anyone else's time as valuable. While your items are being scanned or before you approach the register if you are paying a restaurant tab, get your wallet or checkbook ready.
· If you have to move in front of others to get to your seats at a theater, face the people, not the stage or movie screen. They would much rather see your face than your butt. Remember to excuse yourself and apologize for the inconvenience.
· Grocery stores are for your convenience, but do not take advantage of the employees by putting back items in the wrong place, leaving carts in the parking lot, or other thoughtless gestures. It only takes a moment to put things back where they belong if you have decided you do not want them and to place a cart in the cart return. Employees waste time rounding up misplaced objects, and when your car is damaged by a cart in the parking lot, you will understand why the cart returns are there.
Restaurant Staff
Servers in restaurants are some of the most abused people in the service world, which is a real shame. These workers are on their feet for hours, serving several tables at the same time. Most of the time, they have memorized their establishment's menus and know each day's specials as well. They keep track of everyone's orders, check regularly to make sure customers have all they need, refill drinks, and generally try to keep customers happy; and they do all of this for less than minimum wage. They rely on tips for most of their income, so they make every effort to please their customers. Proper etiquette demands that you make the lives of servers as enjoyable and easy as possible by knowing how to interact with them properly.
· Give your server your full attention when he or she is speaking at all times and do not carry on conversations when others at your table are ordering; it is rude and makes it difficult for your server to hear clearly in a noisy restaurant.
· Listen carefully when he or she is reviewing the specials and answering any questions so that your party will not have to ask for lots of repetitions.
· If your server introduces himself or herself to you by name, use that person's name when addressing him or her.
· It is not the waiter's fault if your order is prepared incorrectly; the server did not cook it. Keep this in mind when you ask the server to send it back to the kitchen.
· Never raise your voice, even if you are dissatisfied with your service. There is no reason to create a scene or humiliate your server in public. You can make your opinion known politely by speaking to him or her in an appropriate tone of voice. If you cannot reach a satisfactory resolution, ask to speak to a manager.
· The standard tip for good service is 15 percent to 20 percent for excellent service. If your service is less than adequate, you should tip 10 percent. Keep in mind that this is the bulk of your server's income.
The Sound of Silence
One of the most commonly ignored rules of etiquette today seems to be the rule that each individual deserves the dignity of a bit of peace and quiet. The old adage that "Silence is golden" still holds true, but people are increasingly ignoring it on subways, in parks, in restaurants, and even in work environments. The person sitting next to you or across from you does not want to be forcibly held hostage to whatever sounds you may be listening to or making.
Keep these etiquette tips in mind in order to respect other's "sound space."
· Do not use your MP3 player at such a volume that it can be heard beyond the range of your earphones whenever you are in public. The reason the device has earphones is to make listening a private endeavor.
· Remember that, while you may think your children's endless chatter is adorable, most strangers will not. They do not have any personal interest invested in your children and may want to take advantage of the spare moments on the train to take a quick nap. Keep your children engaged in a quiet conversation or activity.
· Cell phone conversations should be kept to an absolute minimum. No one else wants to hear the intimate details of your life. There will be more on cell phone etiquette in a later chapter.
· On tours, such as in museums, do not carry on conversations with a companion while the tour guide is talking. Not only is it disrespectful to the guide, it makes it difficult for those close to you to concentrate on what they are trying to hear.
· In theaters, do not carry on conversations or make comments during the show. No one paid to hear your opinions or commentary on the production. This includes anything you might feel like saying during the previews of movies. While you might not be interested in the previews, others may very much want to see them. During intermission, conversations should be carried on softly enough that others cannot overhear what you are saying unless they are part of the conversation.
The Little Things Count
An etiquette guide cannot address every possible situation you will face as you move through life. There are countless situations in life when you will have the opportunity to practice small kindnesses that will reveal your true character. Each little act may improve someone else's life a bit and that person may pass it on to someone else, so take the time to show kindness to strangers.
How? Open the door for someone weighted down by packages. Hold the elevator for someone who is running to catch it. Apologize to anyone you bump into. Offer your place in line to someone with just a few items. Help a co-worker who is behind on a project.
If each of us practices both the small and large gestures of etiquette every day to those around us that we barely know, the domino effect will quickly spread, making life much nicer for all of us.
