Cora's BETTER!!
I'm so sorry for not posting here sooner. Thank you sooo much for praying for my daughter!!
Cora was 9 weeks pregnant and then started to miscarry. The problem was that her gall bladder needed to be removed but we didn't know that. She threw up everything for a week--even just plain water.
Finally they got to a hospital that had some answers for her. She needed to have her gall bladder removed as it was full of stones. This must have backed up into the liver as the liver was screaming for help. Her liver numbers were close to 100 TIMES what they were supposed to be.
Once the gall bladder was removed, Cora felt much better but there was still the matter of passing the baby. I'm not sure why they didn't do a D and C when she was under anesthesia for the gall bladder removal. Perhaps that would have been too much for an already "In crisis" body?
So she came home feeling better but still having not passed the baby. There were several very anxious days while we watched her temperature and bleeding very closely.
Finally she passed the baby 3 days after surgery. That was a major relief.
Yes, I was over in MN watching the children and cooking while she was in the hospital and recovering. My son, wife, and children were there during the worst part before the surgery. I'm quite certain that I could not have handled seeing my daughter in such extreme pain so God sent them instead. Blessed be our God who knows our weaknesses and accomplishes His goals in spite of them.
I got pretty sick when I was over there, from all of the stress, but have been recovering now at home. Stress makes MS worse, It makes EVERYTHING worse.
Perhaps now that the worst is behind us, we can enjoy Summer while it's here. I sure hope so.
Lots of love,
Dawn
PS. If you're sick today, perhaps this will help just a little to brighten your day.
My Ailing Friend
Get well, get well, my ailing friend,
Whatever it is you've got;
I'm sad and blue, thinking of you,
And missing you a lot!
Rest in your bed, although you're bored;
Be sure to sleep more than eight;
Get healed, get cured; come back to the world,
Where all your fans await!

Are you STANDING TALL too?
My son, Andrew just repaired my ancient computer this afternoon. Now I can use my BETAR table again which is one of my main therapies (BETAR.com). I run the table off of the computer and I haven't been able to use either for about 2 weeks.
My health suffers a LOT if I can't use my table. It sets all of the chakras to the proper frequency. It shakes out stagnant energy. The music I am led to use helps get rid of pent-up frustrations. I NEED TO USE MY TABLE EVERY DAY!!
So this is a tribute to my son, Andrew. Please pray for him as he was just elected to the position of Secretary at the state level last Friday. In fact, ALL of the positions were taken by the Patriots who love freedom!!! It was a TOTAL victory!!!!
I couldn't imagine being happier than I was last Friday. However, now that I have my computer back, I AM HAPPIER THAN I HAVE BEEN IN A VERY LONG TIME.
This is the first song I played and I played it for Andrew. It truly does fit him. He's stood tall all of his life. So many times the enemy has tried to take Andrew's life. Numerous times I was present to prevent that.
Let's all pray for our leaders who love the people and who want us to be free. Please pray for Andrew and ALL of my family as there are many things making peace seem distant. Maybe, just maybe, it's because we do our best to stand tall in such darkness as we see now.
I love all of you "Tall Standers." God is proud of you!!!! May this song bless you too!

For all Godly Dads!
To the dad of my 3 children and my 6 grandchildren.
YOU'RE AMAZING!!!!
God took the strength of a mountain,The majesty of a tree,The warmth of a summer sun,The calm of a quiet sea,The generous soul of nature,The comforting arm of night,The wisdom of the ages,The power of the eagle's flight,The joy of a morning in spring,The faith of a mustard seed,The patience of eternity,The depth of a family need,Then God combined these qualities,When there was nothing more to add,He knew his masterpiece was complete,And so, he called it Dad!

Did you ever make hay?
This morning the air is full of the smell of freshly mown grass thanks to Robert mowing the lawn last night. That smell took me back so far to my youth that I wrote my younger brother and told him that I'm thinking about him.
In our teen years, Rick and I worked in the hay fields early in the morning. I drove the little Massey but I had a wheel rake.
I turned the windrows over so that the dew would get spread throughout the windrow. Also, any moisture in the bottom of the windrow from sitting on the ground would come to the top to dry out.
When the moisture content of the windrow was perfect, usually an hour or two after being turned over, Rick started baling with the big round baler.
I could go until the leaves of the alfalfa started flying when I turned the windrow. That's when I knew it was time to quit. The rest would have to wait until the following morning.
THAT WAS THE BEST PART OF MY CHILDHOOD--making hay with Rick!!!
When our dad had time, he would come to that field and bunch the bales. This means that he moved them into rows throughout the field. This way as little alfalfa as possible would be covered by the bales so that, if there was enough rain, the alfalfa could produce a second crop.
The bales needed to cure before being put into stacks later on. In the Fall, after the crops were all harvested, Dad would haul the stacks to the farm to be fed to our cows during the Winter.
It was an absolutely wonderful cycle of life on the farm.
Later on, when Robert; myself; and our children had a cattle herd, I made hay with Robert and later with Andrew and Jacob.
I never realized until this morning how much I miss making hay! Here's to the best time of year!!!
May God bless ALL farmers and ranchers with safety and wonderful times working as a family to raise food for the world!!!
Happy today, Dawn

HE BELIEVES IN US!
Hi everyone,
Happy new week.
I'm having a quiet day alone at home as my guys went to the car show near here called "Buggies and Blues." Although I love old cars pretty much as well as they do, my legs would not take a day of standing, so I stayed home.
I don't know if you, dear reader, are on Facebook or not. If you are, I would encourage you to check out the group I found last night. If your childhood was anything but calm, as was the case for many of us, you will find this place speaks to that little child within who needs to remember the good that was there too.
Here's the link to this special place in the world where we can all dream about simpler days than now. It truly makes me feel sad for children being raised in the current turmoil about identity! If you do have a child in your life, who needs to know that peace does exist, I'm sure that they would enjoy going here too! https://www.facebook.com/groups/345264206628189
This is what I found there last night. When I shared it to my Facebook page, people were blessed deeply. I hope that you will be blessed, too, if you've come to the point of discouragement about your life!!
I pray that God's presence grows stronger as you ponder His plans to bless you who follow Him. God LOVES His children. What a joy it is to have HIM encourage us as we obey His plan for us each and every day.
Have a great new week, dear reader!!
